Communication is an important part of any multi-agent system. There are different ways of communicating and they have different effects on a multi-agent system. This project describes and evaluates two different ways of communication, implicit and explicit. To compare the two methods, two experiments have been executed. SammanfattningArbetsmarknadspolitiska program är ett sätt att komma tillrätta med arbetslösheten. Forskning gällande arbetslösa har till stor del utgått ifrån ett hälsoperspektiv. Utvärderingar som gjorts på programmen fokuserar oftast på själva programmen och inte på individerna som deltar i dem. Därför fann vi det intressant att undersöka detta. Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva och analysera vad det innebär för långtidsarbetslösa när de går från öppen arbetslöshet till medverkan i ett arbetsmarknadspolitiskt program.

The development of IT systems is usually accomplished by some form of system development methodology. It can be performed as the waterfall method, where each phase is completed before the next begins. One of the reasons to follow a development methodology is that the process is more structured, faster and that the product will have higher quality. One risk of not using a system development approach is that the code can be unstructured and difficult to maintain.This paper describes an alternative method in which the development occurred without the use of any system development methodology. This has been possible because there was a clear goal of the program that should be developed.

The aim of this paper is to study the long-term effects of stuttering treatment according to the Lidcombe Program in Sweden and to answer questions whether underlying factors may have affected the treatment results. Participants were seven children, one girl and six boys aged 7:10-14:2, who all completed Stage 1 of the program approximately 2-7 years ago.The children were video recorded during a conversation with one of the authors and while reading aloud. Before the recording, their parents estimated the level of stuttering according to a Severity Range (SR) Scale. The evaluations were used as reference for determining whether the recordings were representative for the children´s current speech fluency. Proportions of stuttered syllables (%SS) were calculated from the video recorded material and compared with the proportions of stuttered syllables (%SS) at the time when the first stage of the program was initiated.The results showed that the Lidcombe Program had a significant (z=-2.37, p=0.02) long term effect on stuttering treatment for the participants in this study.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka eventuella skillnader, i matematikbetyg samt matematisk och allmän självuppfattning, mellan flickor respektive pojkar och mellan elever som väljer studie- respektive yrkesförberedande program på gymnasiet. I studien deltog 174 elever från sju klasser i årskurs 9 från två utvalda skolor, en på en mindre ort och en på en större, båda med närliggande storstad. Eleverna svarade på frågor om betyg och självuppfattning genom en enkät. Huvudresultaten i studien har visat att flickor har lägre självuppfattning än pojkar i matematik och att elever som väljer yrkesförberedande program har ett genomsnittligt lägre värde i självuppfattning än elever som väljer studieförberedande program till gymnasiet. Studien kunde inte påvisa någon större könsskillnad i matematikbetyget för samtliga elever men däremot att pojkar har högre betyg än flickor bland dem som valt studieförberedande program och att det motsatta gäller för elever som valt yrkesförberedande program.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva de relationer som företagen inom nätverken kopplade till Kista Science City AB har, med hjälp av ARA-modellen. För att besvara syftet så har en kvalitativ intervjubaserad fallstudie utförts. Today there are ways of using the crowd as paid labour, as funders of your new project ventures and even for helping scientists doing science. Staying true to its traditional principles of objectivity and trustworthiness while asking the crowd to contribute, crowd generated ?Citizen Science? does not provide even the slightest amount of pay in exchange for the time and effort put in by their contributors. Surely there can not be many people willing to do such a thing voluntarily? This essay is based on students' growing lack of interest in science at school. Both from a democratic and social perspective, this is a worrying factor for the future. Through observation, I investigated how five science teachers conduct their teaching. This is to get a better understanding of how teachers' behaviour in the classroom can affect students' interest in science. With a socio-cultural research approach, I have tried to highlight a few pieces of the puzzle that may explain students' declining interest in science.
