The aim of this work is to examine methodologies at remedial lessons for children with weak mobility, in a common Swedish municipal school in an attempt to determine if a connection to theoretical learning exists.Kadesjö describes how difficulties in concentration can arise as a result of problems with mobility and perception, and according to Piaget very young children develop cogitation through physical movements. Det här är ett examensarbete som är utfört på uppdrag av Meal Planning Concepts AB. Målet var att utveckla en native multi-plattformsapplikation till smartphones och surfplattor som skulle fungera på Android och iOS och dela databas med deras nuvarande webbsystem. Funktionaliteten skulle vara baserad på den som fanns på deras webbsida. Applikationen utvecklades i MoSync som är ett ramverk som klarar utveckling till multiplattform. Examensarbetet gick också ut på att utvärdera MoSync under projektetsgång och presentera andra liknande verktyg och hur de förhöll sig till MoSync.

AbstractThe struggle for land has been an issue ever since Brazil was colonized by the Portuguese Crown. The deep social inequalities that the country faces were raised then. More than 45% of the agricultural land is controlled by only 1% of the landowners. There have been many movements since then, who has fought for agrarian reforms.MST, the largest social movement in Brazil, was born in the 1980s. They managed to mobilize the peasants and the poor people.

The Swedish system of rent control has recieved a lot of critique for creating an ill-functioning housing market. Supporters however claim that a movement towards market rents would lead to increased segregation. We evaluate whether rent control has managed to counteract segregation in Stockholm. Our evaluation is based on a data set of 292 representative households in Stockholm. We find that residents in rent controlled apartments in attractive locations typically are born in Sweden by Swedish parents and that they are likely to have a higher income than residents in rent controlled apartments in less attractive locations.

SummaryThe numbers of students in higher education with foreign background are still lower than expected. The universities around the country are increasingly committed to attract students among this group. Many of investments and researches have been done to explore new approaches. There is need to understand how students evaluate their choices. These studies will help marketing the educations which are more responsive to student's expectations.

The purpose of this study has been to examine what approach and experience pedagogues at pre-schools, with a limited amount of nationalities, have regarding cultural promoting work in pre-schools. The concept ?cultural promoting? mainly regards the children's cultural backgrounds. The first question formulation focussed on the what the concepts ?cultural promoting? and ?cultural diversity? meant to the pedagogues.

Mitt examensarbete handlar om hur en person kan komma att ändra sin uppfattning om någonting. Vi ändrar ofta vårt sätt att se på någonting i vår omvärld på ett annat sätt än tidigare. Jag minns själv när jag gick i grundskolan och ändrade min uppfattning om matematikens tallinje. Innan hade jag haft en tanke om att matematik var svårt att förstå och att jag aldrig skulle kunna räkna till 100. Min uppfattning ändrades när jag upptäckte hur tallinjen är uppbyggd och att den är enkel när du väl kan den.

The purpose with this essay has been to describe and understand why youth community service became a penalty in Sweden. The political discourse in which youth community service was established has been analyzed with Laclau & Mouffe´s discourse theory. A social constructivist onset and a discourse analysis were the methodological tools of the essay. The result is two folded. Youth community service was created to strengthen the constitutional state, combined with high beliefs of the social services competence.

The thesis examines how language, culture and family structures interrelate and affect the process of migration. Vital is how women from a different ethnic background integrates during migration and in a dialogue context with us as researchers and native Swedes. The thesis is interdisciplinary and analyzes empirical data through a qualitative method by using the perspectives gender, ethnicity and identity. The empirical material consists of 7 interviews, which have been transcribed and then broken down in to quotations. Thesequotations have then been analyzed using the perspectives mentioned above.

The study has examined how some immigrants have managed to reestablish their professional careers in Sweden. Through in-depth-interviewing with six immigrant informants representing different genders, age and professional experience the process of successfully reestablishing a career within the same professional area in Sweden as in their native country is examined.The study looked at structural and individual possibilities and obstacles which affected the individual. In addition the study looked at the personal characteristics and strategies used by the informants to overcome and succeed in adapting and reestablishing their working life.  The study has drawn on human capital and social capital theory for a basic understanding of how education and skills affect. In addition the informants have surpassed structural barriers affecting many other immigrants.

The paper directs to introduce the turkish literary tradition to an fairly unknown european audience, as well as to present a turkish poet called Orhan Veli. Since there is hardly any literature written within this subject in either swedish or english I have come to the conclusion that the europeans have not yet been subjected to a discussion of this nature. For this reason my main task has been to gather and compose all that has already been written within this matter. The infor-mation given is crushed, illness, management/environmental, genetic influence and piglet birth weight/farrowingprocess.

Den dominerande implementationen av POSIX Threads-standarden för Linux har länge varit LinuxThreads. Detta trådbibliotek har på senare tid kritiserats för att leverera bland annat bristfällig effektivitet, skalbarhet och följsamhet till POSIX-standarden. Två nya projekt, Next Generation POSIX Threads (IBM, Intel) och Native POSIX Threads Library (Red Hat) siktar på att erbjuda bättre alternativ till LinuxThreads.Denna undersökning jämför effektiviteten för dessa tre trådbibliotek, i synnerhet i samband med växling, skapande och synkronisering av trådar samt skalbarhet, huvudsakligen genom användandet av ett testprogram från Sun Microsystems.Resultaten visar att NGPT skalar linjärt och är det klart effektivaste trådbiblioteket över 4600 trådar. NPTL är effektivast under 4600 trådar fast dess exponentiella kurva medför sämre resultat vid ett högre antal trådar. LinuxThreads skalade sämst och fick sämst resultat över 1200 trådar och resultaten visade även högst varians.

The aim with this essay was that on the basis of the care staff?s interpretations study how the unaccompanied refugee children consider cultural differences in the Swedish society and how it influenced the children. The study was carried out through six qualitative interviews with care workers at a municipal group accommodation for unaccompanied refugee children in the south of Sweden. The individual interviews were semi-structured and built on a list of questions with different subjects that were linked to the aim and question formulation for the essay. The analysis was carried out from Lazarus theory about coping and Antonovsky?s theory about ?SOC?, sense of coherence, with focus on the three components, comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness.

Youth unemployment in Europe is a big problem today. The number of unemployed young people has risen past decades, from 10 % in1980 to over 20 % 2010. The purpose with this thesis is to deal with big cohorts and unemployment rate for young people 20-24 years old in Sweden. I have a look at three different generations, people born:1963-1967 and start working 19871968-1972 and start working 19941988 and start working 2008-2012Did these people from a baby boom face any specific difficulties when entering the labor market 20-24 years later? I have used Easterlin theory in my work and lokked at statistics from SCB (Statsitiska centralbyrån) in Sweden.
