Syfte: Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka kulturprogrammet K specials profil kontra image, samt vad programmets medarbetare och tittare associerar till begreppet kultur.Metod: Studien är genomförd med kvalitativa metoder i form av personliga intervjuer och telefonintervjuer samt en nätundersökning.Resultat: K specials projektledare har en samlad bild av hur de vill att tittarna ska uppfatta programmet. Tittarna som har medverkat i denna studie har i många anseenden en positiv likartad uppfattning om programmet. Det finns dock en skillnad i hur en del tittare associerar till namnet K special, då namnet stundtals associeras med frukostflingor. Gällande kultur visar det sig att K special är en kultur i sig och utgör en livsstil hos tittarna som medverkar i denna studie. Både tittarna och programmets medarbetare ser begreppet kultur som ett samlingsnamn på livet och människors uttryck, allt som inte platsar inom ramarna för naturvetenskap.

The following thesis in library- and information science is a qualitative, comparative analysis of the relationship between the minority populations in Sweden and Finland and the library. The objective with the thesis is to investigate how the state is working to promote minority groups at the library and what lead to today?s situation. The investigation starts, as regards time, with the European charter for Regional or Minority Languages, which was published 1992 and ends with the establishment of the Swedish library law 2014. The method that is used will be a comparative analysis that aims to compare Sweden and Finland.

I intend to examine how teachers interpret the purpose of preschools and the national curriculum and how they handle any problems rising due to the fact that the curriculum is just an instructional document and freely interpreted. Personnel working within the school system have different opinions on how to maintain a functional educational activity. How do they interpret the national curriculum and why? Are there any similarities or differences between different teacher?s views and is it possible to approach this in a constructive way? Is it really possible that personnel working at Swedish preschools are unaware of their purpose or is there another explanation?In this study I have worked according to the qualitative method and have been conducting interviews with the possibility to open follow-up questions with room for interpretation. A total of six people on four different preschools have been interviewed and their answers have been analyzed as a whole.The result from these six interviews shows that there are both differences and similarities in their interpretations of the purpose of the Swedish preschool.

In Sweden there is an integration policy and a policy for national minorities. The integration policy aims to integrate newly arrived immigrants (nyanlända invandrare), whereas the minority policy aims to maintain and strengthen the rights of the national minorities. The national minorities are though, at times, included into the integration policy, even though they hold a minority status in Sweden. This paper aims to, through discourse analysis, investigate the research question: ?how is the content of integration referred to, when it is related to immigrants, contra when it is related to national minorities?.

Uppsatsens undersökning baseras på kvalitativa intervjuer med fem verksamma gymnasielärare i italienska. Syftet med uppsatsen är att dokumentera och analysera hur lärare i italienska tolkar och didaktiserar kring kulturella begrepp i skolans styrdokument samt att jämföra hur lärarna ser på sambandet mellan språk och kultur i förhållande till styrdokumentens utgångspunkter. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna är bland annat inspirerade av Ulrika Tornbergs definitioner på kulturbegrepp inom språkundervisning. Begreppet interkulturell kompetens har en central roll i uppsatsens analys. I resultatet av intervjuerna klarläggs att styrdokumenten lämnar öppet för individuella tolkningar av kulturbegrepp vilket leder till att lärarna känner ett personligt ansvar för att förmedla kultur till sina elever.

Kultur har en central roll i utbildningen i moderna språk och de läroböcker som används i språkundervisningen bidrar avsevärt till att forma elevens bilder av målspråkskulturen. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka den syn på kultur som förmedlas i tre olika läroböcker i franska respektive spanska. En innehållsmässig analys av de sex läroböckerna genomförs, där fördelningen av Tornbergs tre kulturperspektiv studeras. Sammanfattningsvis visar undersökningens resultat att Ett fullbordat faktum är det kulturperspektiv som präglar de sex läroböckerna. Hälften av samtliga nedslag som gjorts i läroböckerna återfinns i detta perspektiv. Resterande hälften fördelas mellan En kompetens för framtiden (30 %) och Ett möte i öppet landskap (20 %)..

Abstract This thesis is based on a case study of the drawn out legal process on the question of establish a limestone quarry in Bunge Ducker in north Gotland (Sweden). The current fields are located next to areas that are protected by virtue of being EU-certified Natura 2000-areas. Despite this, the Swedish governments and courts have not agreed in witch national interest that should be prevail when decisions are made on this issue. This phenomenon are reflected in the judicial process and different court have evaluate information differently in the case. A change among governmental actors where priority is given to the importance of national interest have occur in the later part in the process.

National tests has been carried out in fifth grade since 1996. Spring 2011 is the first year since the start, when it is no longer mandatory for Swedish schools to carry out the tests in fifth grade. Instead the tests will be moved to sixth grade, starting in spring 2012. This thesis investigates what effects the national tests has got on the teachers planning, but also what attitude the educators have to the tests. To solve the subject, teachers that are active in fifth grade and have recently carried out nationel tests in their class, were interviewed.

This thesis studies the Swedish advertising business as an actor in the national formation of Sweden. It argues that earlier research has ignored to see advertising businesses as possible forces of these formations. The essay investigates how this appears historically through collaboration with an informational organisation that had risen due to the Second World War and that was a part of the national defence. I can, by investigating a discussion that focused on this informational organisation and the advertising businesses relation to it, show how the business as an effect of a civic engagement expressed an interest to participate in the informational work. Examensarbetet handlar om hur eleverna upplever igenkännandet av sin egen kultur i skolan och vad pedagogerna gör för att eleverna ska känna igen sig. Barngruppen består av barn från åldrarna sju år upp till fjorton år från olika skolor och kulturer i Malmö stad. Pedagogerna kommer också från olika kulturer och från olika skolor och delar av Malmö. En intervju med en biträdande rektor i Malmö som aktivt arbetat med kultur i flera år och information om brobyggare projektet och om en brobyggare i Malmö. Syftet med examensarbetet är att ta reda på elevernas upplevelser och erfarenheter av igenkännandet av sin kultur i skolan och vad pedagogerna gör för att nå målen i Lpo 94 gällande kultur.

The main purpose of this essay was to study the program "Nationellt stöd för kunskapsutveckling inom socialtjänsten" ("National support for knowledge development within the social services") from the National Board of Health and Welfare on the basis of how such a development, as represented by the program, could affect clients' possibilities to participation and influence within the social services.To respond to the purpose I used the following questions at issue:* How is client participation and client influence defined in the program?* What arguments for and/or against client participation and client influence are stated?* Which patterns and similarities/differences are possible to discern between the municipalities and universities that participated in the program when it comes to client participation and client influence?The study was conducted as a document analysis. I studied documents from the program both on a national and a local level. The essay uses empowerment theories and theories concerning client participation and client influence. The main conclusions were that on the national level the authors of the documents spoke with caution about their view on client participation and client influence and expressed that it had to be balanced against the rights of the citizens and the social workers for example.

According to the national legislation concerning discrimination within labour law, it is prohibited to discriminate on the grounds of sex, ethnic belonging, religion or other religious belief, functional disability, sexual nature and part-time work or time-limited employment. The EC-law goes further and also prohibits discrimination on the ground of age. According to an EC-directive the member states must incorporate a national provision against age discrimination by the 2nd of December 2006 and the Swedish legislator is now in the progress to implement this into Swedish law.Even though national legislation does not contain any provision on the area, the EC-law directive has a certain influence at national law. Measures that are in breach of the purpose of the directive can for example not be taken. When the time for implementation has expired, the directive has direct effect and can be referred to within the member states.

Examensarbetets syfte är att undersöka vad Kultur på recept för långtidssjukskrivna personer kan betyda för individen och samhället, samt vilken kultursyn som genomsyrar projektidén. Frågeställningarna diskuteras via två kanaler: ljud och akademisk text. Ljudproduktionen, som bör lyssnas på innan uppsatsen läses, är nyfiket undrande medan den akademiska uppsatsen är mer kritiskt analyserande. De båda är lika ?sanningsbärande? trots att de ska förmedla olika känslor, insikter och frågor hos mottagaren.
