Syfte:   Syftet med denna uppsats är att bredda kunskapen om homestaging och dess nutida marknadsposition. Kunskapen ska vidare ge en bild om homestaging är ett framtidsyrke som kommer att leva kvar på den svenska marknaden.Metod:   Information till uppsatsen kommer från personliga intervjuer från verksamma fastighetsmäklare samt inredare i branschen från Stockholm och Norrköping/Linköping, kandidatuppsatser inom ämnet, Internet samt från litteratur inom företagsekonomi och metodlära. Uppsatsen är skriven ur ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv och har ett teoretiskt och ett empiriskt kapitel med en avslutande analys och slutsats.Resultat & slutsats:   Homestaging är väl etablerat i Stockholm och spås fortsätta på samma nivå under kommande år. En viss minskad etablering syns utanför Stockholms innerstad. På Norrköping/Linköpingsmarknaden är tjänsten begränsat etablerad och framtidsutsikten där är mera osäker.

Detta arbete handlar Svenska supporterpolisens arbete mot huliganismen. Våldets uttåg från arenan, orsaker till detta och vilka problem det ställt till för polisen. Supporterpolisen i Sverige har en väl utarbetad strategi mot huliganerna och har även lyckats få bort det mesta läktarvåldet bort från arenorna. Problemet är att våldet flyttats ut på gatorna där polisen får det mycket svårare att hålla koll och vara på rätt plats då slagsmål och skadegörelse sker. Faktumet att det fotbollsrelaterade våldet inte bara sker på matchdagen utan också dagarna före har ytterligare försvårat polisens arbete att hålla koll på huliganerna.

Deltagandet i organisationer och föreningar sjunker och det ses som ett hot mot demokratin. Det finns några få undantag och det är pensionärsorganisationerna. De är representerade i pensionärsråd som finns i varje svensk kommun med syfte att bevaka äldrefrågor i kommunen. Studien belyser ledamöternas syn på pensionärsrådens demokratiska möjligheter till inflytande, hur ledamöterna ser på sitt uppdrag och vad de anser att syftet med pensionärsrådet är eller bör vara. Valet föll på Stockholms stadsdelsnämnders pensionärsråd.

Syftet med det här examensarbetet är att undersöka om elevernas talspråk påverkar det tidigaskrivandet. Våra insamlingsmetoder är dels en enkätundersökning, dels en elicitering. Videnkätundersökningen deltog flera lärare. Lärarna kommer från två olika orter, Västerås ochStockholm, vilket även eleverna gör som har deltagit. Eleverna som deltog vid eliciteringen går iårskurs 1 och 2.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how teachers work and reflects on gender education in preschools. We also want to take part of how teacher?s thoughts are reflected in the physical indoor environment and how the environment is designed by reviewing the rooms furnishing and the selected materials. We will do this by visiting a number of preschools located in Stockholm and New York. We have chosen three questions to get the answers on our purpose.How teachers reflect around gender pedagogy are, and how the thoughts are expressed in the practical work.How the teachers communicate with their co-workers about gender pedagogy.How the teachers own thoughts and reflections on gender pedagogy have been expressed in the physical indoor environment where the children stay during the day. We have used interviews and observations as a method to gather the information that we needed to answer our questions of the thesis.

Fortum has in a pilot project installed metering equipment with wireless communication in secondary substations in Stockholm. So far, the collected data are used only in specific projects.This master thesis was carried out at Fortum Distribution AB in Stockholm during 2013. The purpose of this study is to simplify and enhance the use of data in for example network planning process, by giving suggestions on how data can be managed and giving examples of analyzes that collected data can be used for.The electricity meter which Fortum has installed is a EDMI-Mk10A which is set to measure max/average/min values with a one hour time resolution of the following parameters: voltage (per phase), current (per phase) andactive power and active and reactive energy.In order to analyze the collected data an analysis tool is required. During this thesis two customized tools in Microsoft Excel have been developed, one for sorting data and one for analyzing.One aim of the thesis is to show examples of what collected measurement data can be used for. This work shows an example of analysis of active power, power factor, voltage, occurrence of interrupts and the relationship between outdoor temperature and power.This master thesis has among others resulted in the following advice: Expand the number of secondary substations with measuring equipment.

The purpose of this study is to examine the expiration day effect on a stocks volatility due to stock option expiration, which is every third Friday in the month on Stockholm stock exchange. Volatility is the standard deviation of a stock. It measures the uncertainty about a stocks future movement. When volatility increases, the chance or probability of a stock going up or down increases. It?s a common rumor among stock traders that stock volatility tends to increase nearby expiration day.

För den som vill fiska i Strömmen är det bara att ta sitt fiskespö och gå dit, fisket har varit fritt för allmänheten sedan 1436. Men sportfisket är inte okontroversiellt, all lax och öring i Strömmen är inplanterad och hotar de naturliga fiskbestånden i länet. Och man bör akta sig - fiske kan vara beroendeframkallande..

Syftet med denna studie är att se vad som har hänt i den svenska kyrkogårdens historia och vad som har förändrats på Östra kyrkogården och kvarter 4H sedan 1921 då det var invigning av den arkitekt Sigurd Lewerentz ritade Östra kyrkogården i Malmö. Och om kvarter 4H kan bli ett bättre kvarter om hänsyn tas till ett tillgängligare markmaterial. Med hjälp av arkivstudier har jag kunnat läsa om det har funnits annat markmaterial på platsen och när kalkstenen blev lagt på plats, samt varför det har skett en förändring.Det stora problemet på kvarter 4H är gångarna. Det krävs tillstånd från länsstyrelsen för att få ändra i kyrkogårdsmiljö. Det finns två lagar som man skall ta hänsyn till när det gäller förändring i en kyrkogårdsmiljö, nämligen kulturminneslagen och plan- och bygglagen.

Every year, thousands tons of edible food are discarded by the grocery stores. This is food that could have gone to people that?s in need of it. In many countries, so called food banks are established in order to supply welfare organizations with this kind of food. Today there is no equivalent system existing in Sweden.

Recent years there has been discussed how the critical situation in the housing market threatens the Stockholm region's growth. The thesis objective is to examine whether there is a scientific link between the lack of housing supply and growth. The thesis also intends to identify solutions for increased housing construction, for instance by examining the conditions for a greater regional perspective and influence on the region's housing supply. The thesis empirical study is based on semi-structured interviews with representatives from the Government, municipalities and the housing industry.In Sweden, research on the relationship between housing shortages and growth has not been conducted to that extent it can be said to exist scientific evidence regarding the growth threat. However, in Britain and the U.S, empirical studies show that a lack of housing supply has hindered growth through negative impact on countries' gross domestic product.

Companies that are facing the global market are put in to new challenges in order to streamline its business. One industry that has realized that changes are necessary is the construction industry, it is an industry witch is far behind the development of introducing information technology-tools systems in there business. It has shown there is a relation between high IT usage and high productivity, which is one of the reasons to why companies in the construction industry should purchase a business system especially for procurement. However, companies that have purchased a business system are facing difficulties in having their employees using it for its purpose. People react differently to changes and that?s why variations in quantities exist for usage of information technology-tools.

The functionalism started in southern Europe after world war one and got its breakthrough in Sweden with the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930. Poverty caused many people living in overcrowded conditions which the functionalists wanted to change by using less expensive materials and giving healthier living conditions to the people. The industrialization brought new materials and working methods which made this possible. The Swedish functional style is recognised by its light plaster facing and nearly horizontal roofs. Also the garden design of that time was influenced by the functionalistic ideas. The garden was now introduced as a pleasure garden for not only the rich but for everyone.

The aim of this study is to examine the market reaction when information about a company?s foreign direct investment is announced and how that affects the shareholder?s value. Also of interest is whether the market reacts differently depending on which country the investment is established in and which mode of entry is used. This will be achieved by using an event study approach. The selection that was used consisted of 206 companies registered on the Nasdaq OMX Nordic homepage, which had during a time period stretching from 1999 to 2009 established a foreign direct investment in the regions BRIC, Europe or the USA using the mode of organic growth, joint venture or acquisition.
