Sammanfattning Denna uppsats handlar om barns tankar efter att ha läst en skönlitterär bok med en historisk handling. Jag har valt att intervjua fem barn i tioårsåldern som går på olika skolor i en mellanstor stad. Mitt syfte är att ta reda på vilka kunskaper barnen tillägnar sig genom att läsa skönlitteratur? Min huvudfråga lyder: ?Vad anser barnen att de lär sig genom att läsa skönlitteratur? Delfrågor: ?Vad anser barnen påverkar deras intresse för en bok? ?Hur kan en bok med historisk handling öka intresset för historieämnet? För att få svar på mina frågor har jag använt mig av kvalitativa intervjuer med en narrativ ansats. Med detta menas en forskningstradition som tar utgångspunkt i berättelser.

The health care system in most western countries is undergoing rapid changes with an increasing amount of people living with chronic cancer. These people have to deal with their disease in every day life together with working and family life. The relationship between health services and every day life has changed and raises new requirements. Earlier research has shown that maintaining every day life is important for cancer patients and their families. This study comprised patients with lymphoma receiving their diagnosis during 2003 ? 2005.

Det saknas logopediskt bedömningsmaterial normerat för flerspråkiga barn, och kunskapen om dessa barns typiska tal- och språkutveckling är begränsad hos logopeder i Sverige. Detta leder till över- och underdiagnostisering av språkstörning. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka svensk-engelsktalande barns Narrativer (berättelser). Dessa analyseras kvantitativt och kvalitativt, både makrostrukturellt (story grammar) och mikrostrukturellt (lingvistiska mått). Även narrativ förståelse undersöks och jämförs med produktion.

Vi hade som avsikt att med denna uppsats undersöka vilka effekter berättande tv-reklam har på konsumenter. Mer specifikt var syftet att studera vad konsumenter kommer ihåg av tv-reklam som är uppbyggd av storytelling, men även hur de beter sig då reklamerna visas och vad som gör berättande tv-reklam intressant. Studien utgick ifrån fyra företag som använder sig av berättande tv-reklam, dessa företag agerar på den svenska marknaden och är: ICA, Din El, Norrlands Guld samt Telia.Undersökningen var av kvantitativ art, med en enkät som underlag för insamlingen av empiri. Även teorier har granskats och sammanställts för att bygga en stadig grund och har fungerat som utgångspunkt inför analys och slutsatser. I studiens resultat fann vi att det är viktigt att varumärket har en tydlig koppling till tv-reklamen.

This is a critical discourse analysis of the conformation of the conflict in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, as constructed by Ekot, a news-show on Radio Sweden. The ambition of this bachelor thesis is to examine the production of a Congolese conflict for a Swedish audience and to find out how the construction differences with and without a reporter in the field. To obtain this purpose the Narrative is studied as well as the use of voices that define the conflict. The construction of proximity between Swedish audience and the Congolese event and the meaning of sound to stabilize the formation of discourse within foreign news is examined as well. To conform and explain foreign news it must be put in relation to a starting point.

Om världen till följd av klimatförändringarna blir mycket varmare kommer förutsättningarna för hur vi planerar städer, infrastruktur och jordbruk helt att vändas upp och ner. De delar av världen som idag står för världens livsmedelsproduktion kommer vid bara några graders förändring bli obrukbara som betes och odlingsmark. Dessa förändringar kan komma att starta konflikter, och stora flyktingströmmar som tillsammans med förändrade klimatzoner helt kommer att rita om världskartan. i Skandinavien är det då troligt att vi behöver bygga samhällen och städer för miljontals nya immigranter, och detta samtidigt som vi befinner oss mitt i den mest fruktbara jordbruksmarken i världen. Om hundra år måste vi dessutom, oavsett detta, dubbla livsmedelsproduktionen globalt sett.Vårt samhälle blir allt mer rörligt och infrastrukturen utvecklas i allt snabbare takt.

A paranoid and shameful reading of Inger Christensens novel Azorno.The contagious feelings of paranoia and shame played a vital part in my first reading of the novel Azorno, written by the Danish poet Inger Christensen. In this essay, I?m letting those emotions direct the ?understanding? and analysis of the novel. In earlier research the focus has been to comprehend what the novel ?really is about?, and even though it has been mentioned that the form probably is a way to make the reader a visible constructer of  the novel?s ?meaning? the understanding has never been created by the affects that occurs during the reading.

The purpose of this Master's thesis is to study how children's and youth librarians mediate non-fiction books in public libraries. Our overarching research question is as follows: to which extent, how, and for what reasons do children's and youth librarians mediate non-fiction? We have chosen to limit our study to the practice of booktalking.In order to answer questions on extent we conducted a quantitative survey of booktalking children's and youth librarians in Skåne. To answer our other questions on behaviour and attitudes we conducted observations and interviews with six librarians who include non-fiction in booktalks for children in primary school. As a way to study behaviour we examined librarians' selection criteria and methods.

This essay examines teaching in source criticism in upper secondary school history education. Two questions are to be answered: 1. What are the conditions like for teaching source criticism? 2. What opportunities for further development in teaching source criticism are there? In order to set a standard for what knowledge and skills in source criticism the students need, I design a four step model for good source criticism based on the historical science.

The purpose of this study is to investigate a group of female converters and their subsequent experiences when transitioning to islam by bearing hijab. The study analyzes how this religious conversion has shaped and influenced the identity of mentioned women, as well as their attitude and relationship to the social environment prior to and after converting. This means that in accordance with the purpose of this study, an attempt to reveal the everyday life of these women will be performed. In order to make this study possible, three different methods will be put to use. A Narrative method that touches upon the time leading up to and after the final converting and the impact of the conversion.

Sammanfattning/abstractBakgrund: En transsexuell person upplever sig tillhöra det motsatta könet och vill oftast korrigera sin kropp genom hormonbehandling och kirurgi så att den stämmer överens med det kön som personen identifierar sig med. Enligt den vårdvetenskapliga livsvärldsteorin är en människas kropp inte bara säte för hennes upplevelser utan också för hennes identitet. Genom kroppens sinnen skapar man en bild av sig själv och sin omvärld. Detta medför att om kroppen förändras, förändras även identiteten och tillgången till världen. Kunskapen om transsexuella personer hos personal inom hälso- och sjukvården är mycket bristfällig.

Problem area of this Bachelor thesis is the mental illness of internationally adopted at the age of 16-26. Our study focuses on a compilation of previous results from positivistic researches in the first question formulation. In the second and third question formulations a Narrative text analysis, through hermeneutically interpret risk and prevention factors, is carried out for the life of internationally adopted that can lead to mental health/illness and how they apprehend to be adoptees. The purpose is to get a comprehensive understanding at individual, group and society's view of their lives. Further intention is to interpret the material for possible approach angles on further research.

The everyday work for a Forest Manager within the forest owners? association Mellanskog consists to a large part of interpersonal communication, either by close vicinity contact or by phone calls. Interpersonal communication is time consuming and resource intensive. If the flow of information, communication and marketing does not function well then there is a lack of a base for development.
