Internet and social networks have become important features in today?s society. We spend numerous hours on browsing and communicating through these platforms. This development has also led to a shift of power from businesses to consumers. Today?s consumers have more control of if, when and what messages they are exposed to.

Författarna erhöll i februari 2009 ett uppdrag från Nordea Skoghall. De var intresserade av Hammaröbors beteende gällande banktjänster och vad som efterfrågas utav dem. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka förortsbors val av bankkontor, samt analysera hur de värderar tillgänglighet, öppettider, rådgivning, priser och kontanthantering hos banker. Uppsatsens empiriska del är uppbyggd utifrån en kvantitativ metod där insamlingen bygger på 130 enkäter. Utifrån resultatet, som sammanställts i siffror istället för ord, har ett stort antal observationer gjorts. Teorin har samlats från litteratur som berör relationsmarknadsföring, tjänstemarknadsföring samt information från relevanta källor på Internet.

Introduction The genetic skin disease epidermolytic ichtyosis is caused by mutations in either keratin gene 1 or 10 and leads to blisters and hyperkeratosis of the epidermis. At cellular level the disease is seen as aggregates in the keratin filaments. Since medicines are hard to investigate and produce mainly due to lack of reproducible model systems, there is no good treatment available for this disease today. In this article we describe how an in vitro model consisting of cells from a stable cell line transfected with expression plasmids to mimic patient cells, may be a possible alternative for screening compounds for therapies. The first step was to generate an expression plasmid required to complete the in vitro model.

Background: Swedish consumers are daily bombarded with 1500 advertising messages. 22 percent of the Swedish people are avoiding all advertising in traditional media according to SIFO's research. To master this problem innovative methods are a necessity to reach consumers. Guerrilla marketing is such a method.Purpose: The purpose of this dissertation is to describe the components and the activities that asuccessful guerrilla campaign consists of. He purpose is also to examine the motives behind theseactivities, why they were chosen and what objectives they were supposed to accomplish.

Hållbarhetsredovisning är ett relativt nytt sätt att redovisa på och har hittills varit ett frivilligt redovisningsverktyg som företagen kan använda sig av. En hållbarhetsredovisning tar upp ett företags ekonomiska, sociala och miljömässiga resultat. Dagens miljötänkande och jordens temperaturförändring gör att kunder, leverantörer och andra intressenter ställer högre krav på företag än vad de gjort tidigare. Högre krav innebär att företag bör ha en hållbarhetsredovisning där de kan visa resultatet av sitt ekonomiska, sociala och miljömässiga arbete. En undran som uppstod var om hållbarhetsredovisningen har ett vidare ändamål än att visa upp företagens ekonomiska, sociala och miljömässiga arbete.

This study presents a methodology that enables the annual average power of a wind turbine to be increased by automatically optimizing it?s airfoil, twist and chord dis- tribution. As a part of the study the software SiteOpt has been developed. This software connects the open source software XFOIL with the blade element momen- tum theory. XFOIL gives lift and drag coefficients which enable the blade element momentum theory to predict the power of a wind turbine at different wind and ro- tational speeds.

Det finns ett flertal olika intrångsmetoder som utnyttjar olika typer av svagheter i datorsystemen. Denna uppsats inriktar sig på svagheter i webbplatsernas serverskriptsystem, dess skriptkod och konfiguration. Syftet är att undersöka huruvida intrång kan göras med endast en webbläsare via webbplatsens offentliga webbsidor.

One of the main tasks of the Swedish Armed Forces over the past few years has been International assignments, which increased the importance of the Lessons Learned process. Methods of simulator training with computers have become more frequent and the technical ability to collect digital data from sensors has been developed as well. This work demonstrates how the experience of Lessons Learned can be communicated with the computer simulator StriSimPC and how modern technology in future support experiences from the Lessons Learned process at the tactical level in the Army.Currently knowledge sharing consists of several processes and strategies in the Swedish Armed Forces. This is done by written reports, oral presentations and different practical exercises.This case study shows the functions of the simulator StriSimPC, methods of training and how it is used today. The study also describes the future opportunities, where digital metadata acquired from the modern combat vehicles could contribute sharing of experience in the Lessons Learned process.The summarized conclusions indicate that StriSimPC can combine the two strategies for personalization and codification of knowledge transfer to reach a higher level of learning.

ABSTRACT: Commercial swab transport systems are used for collection and transporting of fecal and other microbiological samples. This system must maintain viability and contribute to survival of microorganisms during transport to the laboratory. Four swab transport systems have been compared, eSwab, ?- Transwab and fecalSwab, all three with flocked swabs, and Copan Venturi Transystem with rayon swabs. The study followed the recommendations from the Clinical Laboratory Standard Institute; document M40-A for recovery of Samonella, Shigella, Yersinia and Neisseria gonorrhoeae after storage for 0, 6, 24, 48 and 72 h at room- (22-25°C) and refrigerated (2-8ºC) temperature.

The knowledge development regarding in-store marketing has shown that influencing a consumer in a store setting is a powerful tool to change the consumer?s buying patterns. However, the store as a marketing channel lacks, in many ways, conducted academic research and according to marketing theory investments into in-store marketing tend to be taken without advanced marketing consideration. As a consequence, we have chosen to generate new insights into the field of in-store marketing by studying in-store demonstrations both from a behavioral and a mental dimension. Furthermore, we have also chosen to study how different consumers with different degree of loyalty and buying patterns are influenced by an in-store demonstration.This study aimed to obtain a better understanding of in-store demonstrations through breaking down the demonstration into its core elements and from these elements construct different types of demonstrations.

Arbetet hade som sitt mål att undersöka i fall användarna uppskattar att webbplatser anpassas till deras media; om det är viktigt för användarna att känna igen sig på en webbplats samt om man kan ta bort viss information från en webbplats när den presenteras via en mobil enhet. I uppsatsen förklaras begrepp som responsive web design samt mobildedikerad webbplats vilka är populära metoder för att anpassa webbplatser till mobila enheter. Den snabbt ökande användningen av mobila enheter gör denna problemställning mycket aktuell och intressant.

Active immunization against gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) is an alternative to surgical castration of male pigs to avoid boar taint. The aim of this study, including 128 pigs, was to evaluate the effect of a GnRH-vaccine Improvac® on performance and on social and sexual behaviour. Male pigs were assigned to three treatments; surgical castration at four days of age, immunization against GnRH and no castration. Vaccination was performed eight and four weeks before slaughter. Surgically castrated male pigs had significantly lower daily weight gain during the suckling period than entire male pigs (235 vs.

Since their invention in 1999, CubeSats have become a widespread standard for small picosatellite missions. CubeSats allow for quick development of satellite payloads and launch in space without the high costs of a normal satellite. Emphasis during the CubeSat design process is placed on use of commercialoff- the-shelf (COTS) components and reuse of previously-designed units.This report describes the interfacing of a scientific magnetometer, the Small Magnetometer in Low-Mass Experiment (SMILE) to such a CubeSat mission, the Space Weather using Ion spectrometers and Magnetometers (SWIM). Design of a complete platform for use in multiple such missions is presented here.Modularity is one of the key aspects followed in the course of the work. A new board containing the analog pick-up and compensation circuitry for SMILE has been designed to fit inside a CubeSat frame.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the content of glucose, fructose, sucrose and fructan (WSC) varied in silage, haylage and hay harvested from the same field and at the same time of harvest. The study also investigated if differences in the WSC-fraction in the forages caused differences in composition of WSC in the colon of horses fed the forages. Hay, haylage and silage were harvested in the first week of June 2005 and stored for about nine months before feeding. Horses that were fistulated in right ventral colon and caecum were used, but only the colon fistula was used for sampling. The fresh crop and the conserved hay, haylage and silage were analyzed for chemical composition and WSC-fraction.

Samflotationskretsen i anrikningsverket vid Aitikgruvan består av fyra parallella linjer med nio flotationsapparater i varje serie. Fraktionsanalyser på anrikningssanden från flotationen har visat att förlusterna av koppar i stor utsträckning finns i de grova partikelstorleksklasserna. Scavengerceller av typ OK-38 (Outokumpu 38 kubikmeter) i en av serierna, 800-serien, hade modifierats för att förbättra suspenderingen och därmed floteringen av grova partiklar. Tack vare modifikationerna hade suspendering av materialet i flotationscellerna blivit bättre vilket konstaterades genom att mäta andelen fast material på olika nivåer i cellerna, men man hade inte kunnat iaktta något förhöjt utbyte av koppar. Syftet med projektet har varit att det skulle leda fram till vägledning över hur hydrodynamiken påverkar flotationen och ge rekommendationer för hur apparaterna skall utrustas samt att företaget vill ha erfarenheter av inköpta provtagarnas metodik.
