AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to investigate how a local authority acts when anunexpected event occur. It´s done with a basis in two crisis communicationstheories; Coombs SCCT theory and Gilpin and Murphys complexity theory,which largely are each other?s opposites. To conduct the study, a case studyof the floods that hit Kristinehamn in the summer of 2014 was carried out,which gave us a good opportunity the achieve the aim of the study. Themethod used was qualitative research interviews.

Total amount of words: 15 269.In this essay, the purpose is to examine the personalization of Swedish national coaches during international championships in the Swedish tabloids. Research shows that a leader nowadays is representative for her organization. Therefore it could be assumed that the way the national coach is portrayed can have some kind of effect on the public opinion about the team as a unit and their sport federation in total. This essay is a quantitative study of the sport tabloids Sportbladet och SPORT-Expressen during three international championships: Euro 2012 in football, WC 2013 in ice hockey and Euro 2014 in handball. We have studied the coverage of the national coaches Erik Hamrén, Pär Mårts and Ola Lindgren/Staffan Olsson in contrast to the coverage of their teams in total.The main results are that the national coaches are mentioned in every second article that is written about the national teams during the championships. They are mainly portrayed in a neutral way, even though the coverage of them is affected by the results in the matches.

The qualitative study was conducted with a hermeneutic basis, where individuals were asked to describe their experience of empowerment and how they feel affected of it. This thesis has a deductive approach, where existing theories dealing empowerment formed the basis for the design of interview substrate, which is then paired with the empirical evidence, based on this the conclusions was drawn.Result & Conclusion:What separates the different kinds of empowerment and how it affect the staff depends most of all on how the management chooses to communicate and share information with their staff.Suggestions for future research:A study regarding managers that works with different kinds of empowerment, and how that affects them, could be regarded as an interesting future research.Contribution of thesis:It shows that different kinds of empowerment affect the staff in different ways, which I made clear to the readers.Keywords:empowerment, thinking skills, relations and organizational - structure and theory.

Sammanfattning Ann Matti & Rawaa Najjar (2014) Lust att lära matematik Malmö högskola, ULV projekt Handledare: Anna Henningsson-Yousif Examinator: Haukur Viggosson Syftet med arbetet är att främja barns lärande och förståelse i matematik genom att skapa lustfyllda aktiviteter som har sin grund i lek i förskola och skola. Vi har använt oss av olika forskningsmetoder såsom aktionsforskning, observationer, loggböcker och samtal med pedagoger för att beskriva resultatet. Vi skrev också om teoretisk bakgrund och där representerades läroplanens kunskapsmål i matematik. Vi beskrev även tidigare forskningar kring matematikdidaktik och lekteorier. Resultatet omfattade observationer, planering av olika aktiviteter, genomförda aktiviteter, reflektion och dokumentering av barns lärandeprocess och utveckling. I skolan arbetade vi med subtraktion medan i förskolan handlade arbetet om hur man synliggör matematik i en barnbok.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe how nurses experience meeting patients with self-injurious behavior in health care and the factors that influence nurses' attitudes towards this particularly group of patients. The literature study also contains a review of the articles included datacollection method. Method: A descriptive literature review of quantitative and qualitative articles published between 2004 and 2014. The articles were sought in the databases PubMed and PsycINFO. The result of the present literaturestudy was based on 11 articles.Result:The nurses experiences were mainly positive, however, the results also shows that they feel antipathy, negative emotions, inadequacy and obstacles in the care of patients with self-injurious behavior.

In the spring of 2014 Sweco Systems AB were commissioned to design a ventilation system for a newly built preschool in Linköping. Terms from the client was that it cost efficiency would cope with the energy demands that are placed on the building. The unit chosen was a cross-flow heat exchanger, and this work is to compare it with two other heat exchangers to see if a more energy and cost efficient could have been chosen. The heat exchangers that was chosen for the comparison was a rotating- and a counterflow heat exchanger. Simulations have been made to the different heat exchangers by the manufacturers.

SammanfattningUnder sommaren 2014 kommer de första vindkraftverken på Glötesvålen att sättas upp och en park bestående av 30 vindkraftverk beräknas vara klar senare under hösten samma år. Denna park kommer ligga i ett område med en stor besöksnäring som är beroende av att turister finner området som ett attraktivt besöksmål. Syftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på vilka effekter turismnäringen ser av denna byggnation, hur turisterna kan tänkas reagera på denna samt om det finns skillnader mellan näring och besökare i denna fråga. Uppsatsen baseras på kvalitativa intervjuer med turistnäringen i området samt en kvantitativ enkätundersökning bland besökare. Studier som behandlar en likartad problematik används som referenser och källor i jämförelse med de egna resultaten.Delar av turistnärigen i området är oroliga över att en vindkraftpark kommer att leda till ett minskat besöksantal i området på grund av att området inte längre kommer uppfattas som lika genuint och opåverkat.

Drygt fem gånger så många pojkar som flickor diagnostiseras inom paraplybegreppet högfungerade autismspektrumtillstånd (AST). En konsekvens av det är att forskning kring tillståndet främst utgår från pojkar. Baserat på journaler och register mellan år 2011-2014, syftade denna studie till att undersöka insatser för och möjligheter att uppnå individuella mål vid Barn- och ungdomshabiliteringen i Västerbotten hos pojkar (n=23) och flickor (n=23) mellan 7 och 18 år. Resultaten visade att pojkar och flickor generellt fick lika insatser med avseende på antal, typ och tid. Fler pojkar än flickor uppnådde dock sina mål med uteslutande goda resultat, medan en större andel av flickornas mål var långt ifrån uppfyllda.
