Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur resultatet skiljer sig åt mellan stora och små fondbolags Sverigefonder. Skillnaden försöker vi förklara med avseende på organisationsstruktur och förvaltningsstrategier.Vi har valt ut tre svenska aktiefonder som förvaltas av tre olika storbanker i Sverige, samt tre svenska aktiefonder som förvaltas av tre mindre fondbolag. Vi har beräknat dessa fonders risk samt avkastning för att se vilka fonder som klarat sig bäst. De mått och modeller vi använt är standardavvikelse, beta, aktiv risk, CAPM, Alfa, Treynorkvoten och Sharpekvoten.Vi har försökt ta reda på hur de olika fondbolagen arbetar genom intervjuer, information från hemsidor på Internet och annat skriftligt material.Empirin består av presentationer av fondbolagen, fakta om de olika fonderna samt den information vi samlat in om förvaltningsarbete. Det sistnämnda innefattar hur många som arbetar med fonderna, hur de interagerar med varandra och hur det går till när de avgör vilka aktier som ska ingå i fonderna.Efter att ha räknat ut alla riskmått och avkastningsmått stod det klart att bankerna har presterat betydligt sämre än de mindre fondbolagen.

New technology makes it possible to remotely measure all consumers in a power network onan hourly basis and store the values in a database.This thesis work describes the conversion process between automatic meter reading systemMActor and calculation software Xpower.Then the possible differences between calculations of power networks using load curves incombination with a yearly estimate of consumption and calculations using hourly measuredvalues is examined.The result of the comparison shows that, for the power network under inspection, nosignificant difference could be noticed. This does not mean that calculations using hourlymeasured values would be unnecessary. I believe that in a near future calculations using hourmeasurements will be the primary choice for many power companies to whom technology isavailable.Also some basic calculations of fundamental power network parameters, such as power factorand loses, are presented using hourly measured distribution transformers in combinations withits hourly measured loads.The report is written in Swedish.

Our education at Halmstad University was completed with a degree project. Our task was to improve an already existing pneumatic damper to Nederman in Helsingborg. Overall we have made necessary calculations to make the design of the existing damper smaller. When these calculations were done, we moved on with an analysis of the existing damper in order to figure out what improvements could be made on each part of the damper. The result of this project is a smaller and a more supple design of a pneumatic damper. To this we have also created complete drawings, calculated material expenses; we have also created an assembly of a pneumatic damper in Catia v5..

The purpose of this paper is to examine how seams in an interactive system should be managed. Seamsin this study refer to the boundaries that arise when users move between for example differentsoftware, products or positioning systems. These seams are a cornerstone of the relatively unexploredarea called seamful design, which is based on that users can avail highlighted seams through activeparticipation in the use of a system. To analyze this area, seamful design is applied to the developmentof an interface of a smoothie vending machine. This report documents the development of a software system for automaticscheduling called Hazel. This system is comprised of a server where an automaticscheduler has been implemented, as well as a web and mobile applicationthat allows users to interact with the system. The scheduler hasbeen developed with the functional programming language Haskell and usesa SAT-solver.Manual scheduling has long been the bane of managers everywhere, asmatching the needs of the employer with those of the employee is often adifficult and time-consuming task. The purpose of the study is to find out which factors constitutes the choice of games and how the information of these factors reach the consumer. We have the tradition in Sweden to build villas and houses with a wooden framework. It has become natural for us because we have so much forest in our country. Building with wood has advantages, it is easy to process, but also disadvantages, as it is sensitive to moisture.Finland has long made use of the thermal blocks to build villas. The task of this project was to build an computer processing system for pressureregulation, in which the pressure loss over the open hydrolicvalve should be kept as low as possible. By using an cross connected proportional directional valve the valve problem could be solved. The control- and regulationproblem for the pressureregulation system was solved by using the DAQ- card NI6035E from National Instruments and the computerprogram Automatic Pressure Control 1.0 which has been software developed and written in Visual Basic.
