Syftet med min undersökning är att jämföra hur svenska pedagoger arbetar med sång och musik på en förskola med barn som har svenska som modersmål respektive en förskola med barn som har ett annat modersmål än svenska. Jag observerade och intervjuade tre kvinnliga förskollärare från två olika förskolor. Resultatet visade att pedagogerna på de båda förskolorna arbetade mycket med det språkliga, men på olika sätt. Pedagogerna som arbetade med barn med ett annat modersmål än svenska hade mer språkliga mål och syften med sitt sång- och musikarbete och framhävde mer den språkliga förståelsen medan pedagogen som arbetade med barn som hade svenska som modersmål mer såg på vikten av att göra det lättare för barnen att minnas, samt på utvecklingen av det sociala, exempelvis samspel och gemenskap. Pedagogen som arbetade med barn som hade svenska som modersmål, gav barnen mer utrymme för samtal och frågor än vad pedagogerna på den andra förskolan gjorde och gav mer utrymme för båda könen.

Syftet med denna studie är att få en inblick i hur lärare på mellanstadiet arbetar med teknikämnet i skolan. Detta görs genom en enkät, vars frågor är upplagda efter tre frågeställningar: Vilka tankar har lärarna om teknik? Hur ser pedagogernas teknikundervisning ut? Vilket undervisningsmaterial använder lärarna sig av i teknikämnet? Totalt är det 65 lärare som arbetar eller har arbetat med teknik på mellanstadiet som deltagit i studien. Enkäten har visat på att de flesta lärarna som deltagit tycker att teknikämnet är ett roligt, spännande och intressant ämne som dock är svår bedömt, tids- och materialkrävande. Undersökningen visar även att de flesta lärarna tycker det är bäst att arbeta med teori och praktik varvat, då båda delarna behövs för att eleverna skall förstå teknikens innebörd i samhället.

Title: The lost song. A study of a reconstruction process. I was asked by the daughter of the Swedish composer Svea Welander (1898 1985) for help to reconstruct a now lost song for voice and piano originally composed by her mother, where the melody of the song was used in the second movement of her first string quartett. The song was composed in 1955, words by Wilhelm Ekelund. My aim has been to describe the process of reconstructing the song.

The major customers are navies of different countries, mostly the Swedish navy. The aim of this master thesis is to develop, construct and evaluate an automatic Trim System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. The task of the system is to change the position of the centre of mass and the vehicle?s total mass or volume.

This essay seeks to analyze the consequences of modern information and communication technology for collective action within the framework of social movements. With references to the protests in Seattle 1999, the essay argues that the emergence of distributed collective action is closely related to the use of technology, for example cell phones and Internet. This distributed collective action can be characterized by its decentralized and self-organizing features, forming a global pattern emerging from local interactions. Whereas contemporary theories of collective action can be ´stretched´ to fit these aspects, they lack analytical tools to describe and analyze such systems. Further, their rejection of classical crowd theory is problematic, since it contains valuable insights.

Composers? and choreographers? world of ideas. Aspects of the art process. This inquiry is about the artistic process when composing contemporary music and choreographing modern dance. I have studied three composers? and three choreographers? thoughts about the artistic process and the work that leads to a piece of music or a dance.

This thesis engages the topic of test methods for wood adhesives. Two test methods were evaluated, EN 302-1, a European standard, and ASTM D905, an American standard. The total amount of specimens manufactured and tested was more than 500. The adhesive bonds were tested in shear with an increasing load on the specimen until failure.The adhesives used were epoxy-resin, phenol-resorcinol-formaldehyde and a 2-K polyurethane. The test programme included five different types of intentional errors per method, in order to investigate the sensitivity of the test methods.

The increased interest in relationship marketing and the potential of the Internet as a platform for relationship building activities have given rise to new ways for companies to interact with their customers, such as services based on a freemium pricing model. Based on the premise that relationships are processes consisting of interactive moments of value-creating activities, value is considered subjective, relative and dependent on the context in which the activity takes place. Value is therefore variable given its context and cannot be pre-defined without nuances being lost. Despite the Internet's given role in societal development, our understanding of what contributes to customers' intentions to build relationships with online services is yet to mature.As the music industry is well established on the Internet, alongside the change in how music is consumed, it is thus appropriate to examine activities in accordance with a freemium based service that distributes music online, since it still lacks in academic understanding.This study aims to provide insights about virtual relations and how online services that provide cultural content should relate to there users as well as contributing to the ongoing academic discussion regarding value and how it is manifested by highlighting contextual impact on relational activities. This thesis is about practising on a different level to get an insight to what techniques might work for me as a double bass player. It is about discovering how to use your brain into playing at your best level. I practised both talking and singing to myself and read a lot about thinking and hearing not only the music but every note before playing. The thesis idea came from not having a technique that worked for me while practising alone. It provides a detailed insight into how the work was done from the script stage to the end result, scene by scene reflecting about both the musical performance and the collaboration between the director and me as a composer. Denna studie syftar till att öka kunskapen om vilken syn frilansande och undervisande improvisationsmusiker har kring skapandet av ett personligt uttryck och hur de anser att ämnesområdet kan hanteras i musikundervisning. I bakgrundskapitlet ges en överblick av begreppet personligt uttryck och därefter följer en presentation av tidigare litteratur och forskning inom ämnesområdet. Nästkommande kapitel om teoretisk bakgrund beskriver det sociokulturella perspektivet i egenskap av teoretisk utgångspunkt.Studien utgörs av kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra frilansande improvisationsmusiker med stor pedagogisk erfarenhet i ämnesområdet. I resultatet beskrivs analysen av hur improvisationsmusikers syn på hur ett personligt uttryck kan skapas och hur de som pedagoger ser på undervisning inom detta område. Det framkommer bland annat att ett personligt uttryck handlar om att bejaka sin smak och vilja samt att självförtroende, hantverksskicklighet och inspiration är aspekter att ta hänsyn till.

AbstractSpotify is currently the largest and fastest growing online music service. They started in 2006 and has since established itself in several European countries. Their financial revenue comes from advertising spots on the client and registered paid subscribers. Together with Spotify, we have come to a certain focus area where Spotify themselves feel that there is potential for improvement. This area of focus concerns the conversion from using Spotify's free "Open" to the payment options Unlimited and Premium.Objective: We will use an innovation process to achieve an innovation grant that will create more attraction to the payment services.

This thesis investigates if a system for small scale electricity production located in anurban environment can be profitable. The work has been divided up into two parts,one extensive literature study and one case study. The purpose of the literature studywas to investigate the area, resulting in a choice of which technology to be studied indepth in a case study.In the case study a system containing small scale wind turbines and photovoltaicsmounted on Gränby Centrums roof was examined. From data containing wind power,wind direction and total irradiation, possible production from a system weresimulated. Three products of each technology were examined in the simulations.From the simulated production an economic analysis was carried out, this toinvestigate if a system is profitable.
