Syftet med vår studie är att synliggöra förskolepedagogers inställning till och användande av musik som ett pedagogiskt redskap i förskolan. För att samla relevanta empiriska data har vi använt intervju och observation som metoder. Urvalsgruppen består av 6 pedagoger från två förskolor. Vi har valt att undersöka en förskola med musikinriktning och en som inte har någon speciell inriktning. I vår undersökning har vi kommit fram till intressanta resultat så som att pedagoger har positiv inställning till musik och använder musik i sitt pedagogiska arbete både som mål och pedagogiskt medel. I båda förskolorna använder pedagoger musik för att det gynnar barns språkutveckling, sociala och emotionella utveckling.

Servicescape is a research area within service management which processes the effect that the environment has on the service experience. The purpose of this essay is to find out how servicescape, with focus on the ?background music?, affects customer behavior in a clothing retail store. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to gain an insight into whatgirls and boys choose to read in their spare time. Thetheoretical perspective with which the subject matter isviewed is that of gender and genre. I would like to see ifthere are differences or similarities in their choice of genre.The material stems from a promotional reading projectconducted in the summer of 2012 aimed at children in theage group 6-16. The number of participation children were146 an 730 books were read. They were divided into agegroups and genres respectively.The analytical method is a quantitative and qualitativecontent analysis.

The purpose of the study is to observe how the participants of the study interacted musically through verbal, non-verbal and musically resonant expressions. Verbal communication was expressed in discussion of the music's tempo and to clarify for ensemble participants from where they we?re going to play and sing. Non-verbal communication could be used to gesticulate an instrument or a melody. For example, the movement of a hand could symbolize notes on a musical stave to indicate the notes placements.

I detta examensarbete presenteras olika inriktningar av musikterapi och FMT-metoden (Funktionsinriktad musikterapi) belyses ingående. Här beskrivs arbetssätt och arbetsmaterialet nämns. Ett historiskt perspektiv ges både på människor med funktionshinder genom tiderna och på musikterapins utveckling i världen och i Sverige. Olika musikterapidiscipliner presenteras liksom befintliga utbildningsmöjligheter. Två elever/adepter presenteras och terapin med dessa beskrivs detaljerat. Arbetet tar upp frågan om FMT-metoden måste ändras eller justeras för att kunna användas i terapin med en synskadad person? Kontentan är att det inte behövs några förändringar av metoden för att fungera för adepter med synskada..

Examensarbetets syfte är att undersöka påståendet om att homosexuella mäns identitet inte bör representeras i tragedi, på grund av genrens maskulina ideal. Istället bör representationen ske i melodram då genren relaterar till feminina värden. Textanalysen av två teaterpjäser, tragedin The River and the Mountain (Uganda, 2012) och melodramen The Boys in the Band (USA, 1968), visar att tragedin står för en essentialistisk (biologisk) syn på sexuell identitet medan melodramen står för en konstruktivistisk (kulturell och social). Kunskap om homosexuell kultur kan inte ses som en nödvändighet för en homosexuell identitet. Tragedi bör därför inte avfärdas som en politiskt svag genre att representera homosexuella män i.

Skräckgenren ses ofta som den mest extrema filmgenren. Det är genren som sticker många i ögonen, då man där hittar allt det en annan genre väljer bort, eller snarare undviker. Man tänjer på gränserna. Varför tittar man på skräckfilm, vad kan man tänkas få ut av det? Är skräcken enbart till för att skrämma oss eller kan det faktiskt komma något gott ur den? I detta arbete har vi forskat kring hur filmindustrin jobbar med skräck.

In this paper, I have examined if and how Saul Bass adapts his title sequences to the respective film in the matter of genre, plot, milieu, feeling and appearance. Saul Bass was really a graphic artist who has made himself a long career in film production, foremost as a creator of title sequences. Of all the films Bass has created title sequences to, I?ve chosen six films, whose title sequences I analyse more thoroughly. I do this to point out the differences between them and thus also show how Bass adapt them to the individual work.

Syftet med studien är att få en fördjupad inblick i hur instrumentallärare behandlar musikteori i sin undervisning för elever i grundskoleålder. Forskning tyder på att elever väljer bort musikteori som ämne på grund av bristande intresse. För att få en bild av i vilken mån instrumentallärare integrerar musikteori i sin undervisning gjorde jag korta strukturerade intervjuer med ett större antal musiklärarstudenter. Jag gjorde också djupintervjuer med fyra instrumentallärare som på ett aktivt sätt integrerar musikteori i sin undervisning. Som teoretisk utgångspunkt i studien har jag använt mig av teorier om lärande.I resultatet visas två olika arbetssätt över hur musikteori kan läras.

Different ways of naming the two pitches between A and C exist in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The Germanic tradition uses B and H, whereas the Anglo-Saxon tradition uses Bb and B. The aim of this study was to present a survey of the various opinions regarding these pitch names. The material consisted of different opinions about this matter from Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish websites. By means of discourse analysis the material was analysed in themes, which consisted of logic, tradition and communication.

I have with this thesis sought to understand how chick lit could be useful in the classroom in the teaching of Swedish B-course in high school. Based on the model of critical literacy I am arguing that this genre would help to meet the objectives of the policy documents which, among other things, are to critically examine and analyze various types of texts.I have found that some of these texts could be used for analyzing and critically examine the ideological dimensions of texts and cultural heritage by the model of critical literacy, and also as a counterweight to the more traditional teaching of the canonical literature as a literary historical stuff that students should learn. I have also wanted to create a basis for discussions about literature in the classroom based on the chick lit genre. To do this I have, based on three themes and questions from the model of critical literacy, tried to focus on issues that might emerge from the ideological analysis and critical review. The model aims to deconstruct norms of society, and in the work of chick lit, I wanted to show how you could deconstruct norms around gender..

The research this report is based on aims to find out the characteristic features of the marketing tools that are essential for a music artist, and define a successful artist. The thesis arises and discusses how different medias can have an affect on an artists career and on his/hers achievement. To bee seen in the right medias can have an important influence on their career. To be able to answer our aim we have interviewed people who have a solid knowledge about music business, we have also used a qualitative method. The outcome of the research is that there are some indications that show important factors which are essential when it comes to marketing artists.

The aim of our thesis was to describe how the connection between co-dependent relatives and the alcohol-dependent influences the family into changes in their teamwork.Our purpose was also to answer the following questions: How is it living with an alcoholic? Are there any differences in how men and women feel and behave in their relationship with an alcoholic? Are factors like cultural belonging, genre or social class important for how the co-dependent relatives feels and behaves and handle their co-dependency?To answer these questions we made twelve thematic qualitative interviews with six adult children to alcoholics and six people married to alcoholics. We compared the results of these interviews with earlier research. We also applied System Theory and Goffman's Role Theory, as well as Bourdieu´s Capital and Habitus concept.We believe that co-dependency is a family divergence that is very similar to family disease, but that a change in attitude can trigger recovery. According to the interviews many spouses stand by their alcoholic husbands and do actions that perpetuate the alcoholic dependence and thereby hold back any recovery.
