Today most people are in agreement that the media industry is in crisis. Many newsrooms cut down on staff. At the same time the PR industry is growing. We wanted to research if this could affect the unbiased and independent news in our news media today. Today's newsrooms receive a lot of press releases every day.

Oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production are usual measurements within the sports and training physiology. The same measurements are also common when it comes to establish the amount of energy that is used during work and to establish the intensity of work. The volume of oxygen that is consumed contra the volume of carbon dioxide that is produced can be used to calculate the metabolic rate within the human body. This calculation shows the percent relationship between carbohydrates and fat in the metabolism. Denna uppsats syftar till att redogöra för hur producentens roll i musikproduktioner har utvecklats i förhållande till ny teknik. Förhoppningsvis kan denna kunskap leda till en bättre förståelse om yrkets utveckling och hjälpa (aspirerande) producenter att utveckla och anpassa sitt kunskapsområde därefter. En undersökning i form av intervjuer med två producenter/ tekniker har genomförts för att besvara vad som enligt dem är producentens roll i musikproduktioner och hur teknikens utveckling har påverkat dem i sina roller. Uppsatsens teoretiska ramverk är inspirerad av det sociokulturella perspektivet som visar på hur vi lär oss av den sociala och kulturella omgivning vi lever i. Resultaten visar att producentens roll blir alltmer multifunktionell och att vara musikproducent idag kan innebära att man sköter om allt från teknik till komposition, för att bara nämna några ansvarsområden.

To fulfill the purpose I?ve used three minor questions which are; a) which actors participate in the public deliberation about Kristianstad Arena, b) Which are the arguments emerge, c) Which clear differences in the arguments is there between the actors? To find my answers I?ve examined the local paper during a period of four months.

AbstractAimThe aim of this study has been to survey the background of the youths in the selection group which participated in the Dream action day, to evaluate if the project succeeded and support the Swedish Ski Association with their recruiting process. The questions of issue have been: Which ethnical, demographical and economical backgrounds do the youths of the selection group have that participated in the Dream action day? Is there any common denominator among those who was drawn to continue? Do the youths want to contribute to expand the sport? Is Dream action Day a good way to reach out to the target group?MethodThrough a strategic selection made by the Swedish Ski Association 44 youths participated in a day during which they tried snowboard. They have been a part of our quantitative data collection and we have chosen six to interview. The interviews have been executed in form of semi structured interviews.ResultsThe results clearly show that few of the participants had any connection to the sport, neither from home nor from friends.

I vår uppsats undersöker vi svenska tidningars framställning av två löperskor: Meraf Bahta och Abeba Aregawi. Vi har använt oss av teorierna National Sporting Heroes (NSH) och framing, detta för att få in den idrottsliga aspekten tillsammans med journalistiken. Vi har använt oss av både en mindre kvantitativ innehållsanalys och en kvalitativ textanalys. I den kvalitativa textanalysen koncentrerade vi oss på ordval. I den kvantitativa innehållsanalysen undersökte vi bland annat artikelns vinkel och hur ofta löperskornas bakgrunder nämndes i artiklarna.

Kronisk njursjukdom med livsuppehållande hemodialysbehandling medförde förändrade levnadsvillkor för patienter och närstående. Närvaro av närstående var en faktor som positivt påverkade patienten och utan närståendes stöd krävdes större insatser från sjukvården. Till närstående räknas anhöriga, men även andra som har nära relationer med patienten, som till exempel vänner eller grannar. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka hur litteraturen beskriver situationen för närstående till hemodialyspatienter och vilken typ av stöd de efterfrågade, samt att beskriva inkluderade studiers urvalsgrupper. Det är en beskrivande litteraturstudie där 10 kvalitativa artiklar från databasen CINAHL inkluderades.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to accomplish an understanding for how librarians purchase fiction literature in public libraries. To answer these questions, we have performed four qualitative interviews with librarians in three Swedish municipalities. We have also performed a smaller document study to give us an overview of the used guidelines at the selected libraries. The results of our survey have been analyzed on the basis of our revised version of Sanna Talja?s model The Interpretative Repertoires of the Music Library.

The purpose of this study was to examine the process of developing an identity as a skateboarder during adolescence. Our aim was to, from the actors? point of view explore what impact their values, experiences and thoughts have on their identity as individuals as well as a collectivity. We also investigated which symbols that are significant for this group. For this essay a qualitative method was used; we conducted nine individual interviews and one group interview with young skaters from the ages of 15-17.

Syfte: Att undersöka hur musik som omvårdnadsåtgärd påverkar patienten fysiskt och psykiskt pre-, peri- och postoperativt. Metod: Deskriptiv litteraturstudie. 12 artiklar inkluderades som granskades, analyserades och sammanställdes. Sökningarna utfördes i databaserna PubMed och Cinahl. Huvudresultat: Resultatet visade att musik i samband med operation påverkar patienten både fysiskt och psykiskt på flera olika sätt.

Syftet med min undersökning är att se hur lärare arbetar med ämnesintegrering genom att lyfta in etnisk musik i undervisningen. Jag har undersökt tre ämnen; musik, engelska och de samhällsorienterade ämnena. Vilka faktorer påverkar lärares användande av etnisk musik? Vilka vinster lärare kan göra genom att integrera etnisk musik i undervisningen? Jag har genomfört en kvalitativ studie med intervjuer som primärkälla. Svaren på intervjuerna har jag tolkat med hermeneutisk tolkningsmetod.
