This report is about Adobe Acrobat 3D and their new PDF format witch can contain 3 dimensional models that are interactive. The purpose is to find out if the program and the format work in a level that is suitable for the market. To create this PDF you need Acrobat 3D installed on your computer but it only needs Acrobat Reader 7 or 8 to open it, and the Reader is free to download on the internet.The examination is focusing on four formats: U3D, 3DS, DWG and DXF because they are the most common in the building industry seen from the architects? way. From a 3D model exported to these four formats they where converted to PDF in different settings to be compared in different points as information and size of the files.

 Syftet med studien var dels att utveckla och anpassa det datorbaseradelästräningsprogrammet Omega-is till döva barns behov vid läsning och dels att utvärdera om träning i den utvecklade versionen av Omega-is hade effekt på döva elevers läsning. Det predicerades att läsningen skulle förbättras som följd av träning och att ett eller flera av mätinstrumenten skulle kunna förklara vad i läsningen som förbättrats. Tolv döva elever, 7-12 år gamla i årskurserna 1-2 och 4-6, deltog i en interventionsstudie med cross-over-design. Deltagarna slumpades med avseende på årskurs till två grupper med vardera maximalt 9½ möjliga träningsdagar. De testades vid tre tillfällen, Pretest 1, Pretest 2 och Posttest där tre kognitiva test administrerades vardera en gång och tre lästest vid varje testtillfälle.

This study provides a Construction-Grammar analysis of Swedish pseudo-coordination construction with the verbs gå "go" and ta "take" on the basis of an examination of empirical data. Factors bringing about different readings of gå and ta pseudocoordinations are discussed, showing that the readings correlate with certain semantic properties of the first and the second conjunct. Three distinct pseudocoordinations with gå are proposed, differing as to their readings: inceptive, surprising and imperfective. The single ta pseudocoordination is claimed to have both inceptive and intentional readings. It is illustrated that the readings of gå and ta pseudocoordinations are affected not only by inherent lexical properties of single conjuncts but also by their interaction with construction-level characteristics.

This paper is an analysis of the novel Season of Migration to The North by Tayeb Salih. Season of Migration to The North was first published in 1967 and it is the most accomplished among several works in modern Arabic literature.I shall focus on one of the two major characters, Mustafa Said, a young Sudanese student whose brilliant career at school in Sudan and Cairo eventually brings him to England; he has a successful academic career in England as a lecturer at the University of London.One of the major themes of the novel is the confrontation between Mustafa Said and England, which in other terms is described as the confrontation between East and West. The conflict is rooted in colonialism. Mustafa Said?s native country, Sudan, was a British colony when the story takes place.

The purpose of this examination work was to make a general description about drying and storage of grain, and a case study with a comparison between brought and home-made feed. The case study was made on the farm Solhem in Hörby, a farm that produces 3870 pigs for slaughter a year. In this project three alternatives have been compared, 1st alternative: own produced grain approx. 400 ton + wet grain 415 ton purchased during fall, 2nd alternative: own produced grain approx. 400 ton + dry grain 415 ton purchased during winter, 3rd alternative: bought feed 815 ton purchased continuously during the year. Detta utvecklingsarbete undersöker om arbete med bild gynnar elevernas språkutveckling samt om elevernas förståelse för att uttrycka sig med bild ökar. Arbetet undersöker även om eleverna får en bredare uppfattning om vad bild kan vara. Studien är genomförd med 9 elever i år 4. Eleverna har provat på olika sätt att arbeta med bild och eleverna har fått uttrycka sig muntligt, skriftligt och med kroppen. Utvecklingsarbetet visar en tydlig utveckling hos eleverna framförallt när det gäller det kroppsliga och muntliga språket.

This study is an examination of the stadium fever prevailing in Sweden. It is built stadiums in Sweden as never before. The high cost of these constructions end up in the end at the Swedish taxpayers. The study examines through the hedonic pricing of real estate how local residents value the new stadiums. The result indicates that local residents put a positive value in the costly and sumptuous buildings.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur den svenska gymnasieskolans förändringar sedan början av 1970-talet har påverkat en enskild lärares yrkesliv. Frågeställningarna lyder som följer; Vilka förändringar har skett i den svenska gymnasieskolan sedan början av 1970-talet? Hur har dessa förändringar påverkat en enskild lärares yrkesliv? För att uppnå mitt syfte och besvara mina frågeställningar har jag använt mig av en muntlig källa och av flera skriftliga källor. Mitt teorikapitel innefattar tre avsnitt; undersökningen Nära gränsen, gjord av Arbetslivsinstitutet, samt begreppen oral history och livshistoria. Förändringarna i den svenska gymnasieskolan sedan 1970-talet fungerar som en bakgrundsteckning.

An array of different retinal disorders is present as a threat in quite a number of dog breeds. These often lead to profound visual impairment or blindness. Many of the disorders are genetic, and they are, in Sweden as well as in other countries, subject to breeding programmes. The anatomy of the eye and the retina, as well as current examination techniques (ophthalmoscopy, electroretinography (ERG) and genetic analysis) are described. The more common retinal disorders encountered in dogs in Sweden are discussed: retinal dysplasia, generalized progressive retinal dystrophy, retinal pigment epithelial dystrophy, collie eye anomaly, sudden acquired retinal degeneration, retinal detachment and choroiditis. The possibly affected breeds are listed. The value of diagnostic findings is discussed and current advances on the subject in ophthalmologic research are accounted for..

The purpose with this research is to examine how the green marketing in retail trade can be developed in order to promote the eco-labeled products closer to the consumer.The method for the survey includes interviews with managers of a few retailers and their customers in the industrial sector. The purpose with the interviews was to produce the retailer and the customer?s perspective of products with eco-label on.The research is limited to the region of Västra Götaland.The results from this research indicate that there is a lack of communication between the retailer and the consumer. The consumers don?t think that the product is available.
