Our employer, Gaddad, is a tattoo and piercing community that was created in 2006 with the basic idea to make it easier for people to get in touch with the tattoo artists and piercers from all over Sweden. With the homepage?s popularity at 2009 they decided to expand with the news page Inkzine. 2011 they contacted us with a plan to expand the homepage to Europe and then merge their two sites under the name Inkzine.The goal of this project was to create design suggestions for Gaddad / Inkzine that both the administration and the current users liked and would consider implementing on the website. In order to evaluate the current design and our suggestions we decided to use two questionnaires .

Balanserad styrning, från kvalitetsverktyg till administrativt redskap : - en fallstudie av Leanlink inom Linköpings kommun

Purpose: The aim of the study is to describe how Leanlink, as a part of the municipality ofLinköping, uses balanced control as a management model. The authors compare, based onliterature of the balanced scorecard, the way Leanlink control their activities. Further, theauthors try to understand why the administration chose to use balanced control in the waythey do.Methodology: The authors have chosen a qualitative case-study method to achieve thepurpose of the thesis. Through semi-structured interviews primary data have beencollected, that have been analyzed along with secondary data such as, business plans andwebsite.Theoretical perspectives: The authors shortly emphasize general government as it appearstoday, to further examined how and why the scorecard is used, its dimensions andobjectives and difficulties that may arise along the way.Empirical foundations: The empirical findings are based mainly on information frominterviews with representatives from the case company. Some information is taken fromthe municipally website and additional information through interviews.Conclusions: It is possible that it became a too big a commitment for Leanlink when theyselected the Balanced Scorecard as a management model.

Scandinavian Airlines : En fallstudie om Scandinavian Airlines kundrelationer

For many companies, the Internet has revolutionized the relationship they have with their customers concerning costumer service. The use of Information Technology in regard to Internet as a media has provided companies with the opportunity to build customer databases in order to target their customers individually. The airline industry was one of the first pioneers to use the full potential of Internet to improve customer relations and its profits which we aim to investigate in greater detail in our thesis.Our thesis answers the question on how Scandinavian Airlines' (SAS) Eurobonus department uses their website to create valuable and profitable relationships with SAS loyalty club members through direct marketing. In order to answer our research question, three key informants have been interviewed - each representing different sub departments at Eurobonus; service and support, IT and marketing. Our results were that the Eurobonus department use direct marketing methods by sending customized e-mail offerings to target specific customer, using their customer databases.

Aiducate.se : Hur man skapar en modern webbsida

Denna rapport beskriver skapandeprocessen av webbsidan aiducate.se, vars syfte är att stötta, motivera och vägleda gymnasieelever i sin utbildning. Projektet genomfördes självständigt utan någon uppdragsgivare och pågick under en tidsperiod om tio veckor. Till grund låg en förundersökning som visade på bristande motivation hos gymnasieelever. I en kompletterande enkätundersökning fastställdes det att eleverna önskade en modernisering av utbildningen med utrymme för nutida undervisningsmetoder. Som ett komplement till gymnasieutbildningen framställdes därför innovationen Aiducate som i framtiden ska omfatta olika verktyg för studierna.

This report explains the need to develop a configuration manager that handles transmission equipment which exists in the Swedish Defence telecommunications network. The configuration module will display the configurations and compatibility among the equipment and their software which are all part of the network.Also included in this report are tools, methods and results for the development of a prototype for the configuration manager. The prototype consists fundamentally of a database assisted by a user friendly website.The transmission equipment handles a lot of important transmission of information and is in the hands of a department of SAAB, OFGCA, by orders from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). Within the work included in this order exists a continuous update of both software and hardware which the equipment consists of. Therefore it?s highly important that there is a monitoring of which of the software and hardware is compatible with one another, ensuring that the functions of the system work properly.The consistent updating has resulted in compatibility issues between components and because of this, a need for a configuration manager has arisen..

In this study, eight students in adult education, the majority with a diagnosis such as ADHD and/or reading- and writing disorders/dyslexia,have been interviewed about their current study situation. The interviews have so party treated topics related to earlier schooling and the future. Earlier studies and available literature is to a large extent written from the perspective of children?s and adolescents? study situation and the question is if this is applicable to students in adult education.

It focuses on how the past reforms since the 90s have changed the teachers? occupation as a profession.The study is partially based on analysis of prior research and documents related to the thesis. The aim of this thesis is to examine the properties of the municipalities in Sweden that influence the choice of being a certified Fairtrade city. The independent variables which are used in the statistical analysis are municipal governance, local tax rate, whether there is an university and/or university college in the municipality, average income and higher education in the municipality. The variables are examined by logistic regression. Since there are no statistical data on ethical procurement, this exogenous variable isn?t included in the regression.

The acts of promoting local business and implementing efforts to appear as an attractive location for potential business are rather new activities among Swedish municipalities. The knowledge about how these activities are organised and what strategies are perused are fairly limited. In addition the structures concerning cooperation between municipalities for economic policies contain incentives both for and against cooperation. This creates a complicated situation. Using prior research mainly done by Markus Gossas, Lennart J Lundqvist and an analytical model designed by Jon Pierre, which in this essay is completed with the works of Roger Henning, these issues are addressed.

In the library community there is a continuous discussion about enhancing user interactivity on library websites, according to the principles of Web 2.0, called Library 2.0. The purpose of this thesis is to study how librarians conceive Library 2.0. The focus is on the study of the librarians? conceptions of user interactivity on the website, and if the librarians conceive that their professional role is affected by Library 2.0. The study is implemented methodologically by interviewing six librarians and using phenomenography as an approach.

?Facebook has become as natural as having a phone? The use of social media in three libraries in the Umeå region ? an evaluationSocial media has come to be an integral part of people?s everyday life, as well as the business world in terms of communication and marketing. More and more libraries also embark in the use of social media, and the purpose of this study is to evaluate the use of social media in three libraries in the Umeå region. The libraries all use Facebook as their current, primary social media. Thus this study focuses partly on the analysis of the content on each library?s Facebook page, and partly on the experiences of the responsible librarians. The evaluation is based on a mix of existing tools in evaluating social media that are relevant in a library context.

Innebörden av begreppet vardagsrehabilitering inom kommunal äldreomsorg

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva hur innebörden av begreppet vardagsrehabilitering (VR) uppfattas inom kommunal äldreomsorg. Datainsamling utfördes genom enskilda intervjuer med omvårdnadspersonal, arbetsterapeuter, enhetschefer samt beslutande politiker, fem respektive sex i varje grupp. Data analyserades utifrån en kvalitativ innehållsanalys inspirerad av fenomenografi som resulterade i två kategorier: 1) VR innebär kommunikation, samarbete och resurser, samt 2) VR innebär ett synsätt där träning i aktivitet möjliggörs i alla situationer. Resultatet visade att alla respondenter anser att innebörden av begreppet VR är att de äldre inom kommunal äldreomsorg ska få möjlighet att utföra aktiviteter utifrån egen förmåga. Andra särskilt framträdande aspekter gällande VR är att det anses innebära en god kommunikation, vara ett självklart synsätt som inte behöver diskuteras, samt att utbildning är viktigt men inte en förutsättning för att arbeta vardagsrehabiliterande..
