Syfte: Studiens syfte är att analysera och undersöka om det finns något samband mellan den finansiella risken och lönsamheten. Det övergripande syftet är att se om valet av finansiell risk fungerar som finansieringsstrategi i verkligheten.Metod: Studien bygger på den deduktiva ansatsen där teorier kommer att testas och analyseras mot empiriska data tagna från årsredovisningar. Den kvantitativa metoden används då data från 305 stycken årsredovisningar ska användas för att finna om det finns samband och variation mellan finansiell risk och lönsamhet definierad som vinstmarginal, Rt och Re. Årsredovisningarna utgörs av sekundärdata som samlats in från databasen Retriever. De statistiska metoder som används är bland annat medelvärde, standardavvikelse, regressions- och korrelationsanalys, hypotesprövning och t-test.Resultat och slutsats: Såväl korrelation- och regressionsanalys som hypotesprövning och t-test visar att det finns samband mellan finansiell risk och lönsamhet definierad som Re.

Syftet med uppsatsen är undersöka huruvida utbildningsnivå och arbetssituation har ett samband med attityder till invandring i Sverige idag. I litteraturen finns det förklaringar som menar att lägre utbildade individer hyser mer negativa attityder mot invandrare och invandring jämfört med högre utbildade individer som genom sin utbildning får ett mer upplyst perspektiv som hämmar de negativa attityderna. Det förekommer även förklaringar som menar att arbetslöshet och en upplevd konkurrens från invandrare leder till negativa attityder mot invandrare och invandring. I den här uppsatsen används material från European Social Survey 2012 för att se hur attityderna mot invandring och invandrare ser ut i Sverige idag. Uppsatsen utgår från två hypoteser.

Abstract. Aim: The aim of this study is to determine certain health, demographic and socioeconomic factors that affect the costs for specialized health care between the municipalities within the Västra Götaland region. Method: The method is explorative and analytical. The costs for specialized health care was divided into three different subgroups; independent somatic specialized health care, specialized health care provided by private practices or outside the region and psychiatric specialized health care. The data was age-standardized.

The purpose has been to find the relationship between geometric parameters and the swirl number for an XPI- cylinder head in order to improve the design specification.The increased focus on environmental issues from society leads to tighter emission legislations for the truck manufactures. In order to drive the development forward considerable resources are spent on research and development on diesel engines and its combustion process. The inlet air has a significant impact on the formation of emissions and the flow that is desired is called swirl. Swirl is achieved by making the air rotate around the vertical axis of the cylinder.Earlier cylinder heads that has been developed at Scania CV AB have shown clear relationships between geometric parameters of the cylinder head and the swirl number.

An increasing number of health problems in the population and an uneven distribution of health between different groups in the society, have been identified as a problems and has therefore been put on the political agenda in Sweden. Thus, the purpose of this thesis is to estimate and discuss the significance an individual?s behaviour, in a number of areas, has on his/her level of health.The empirical material for this thesis is taken from a nationwide inquiry conducted in 2004,which was called ?Hälsa på lika villkor?? (Health on equal terms?) The material used consists of the answers and records from individuals living in the administrative district of Kronoberg. 9972 individuals were included in the sample and the answering frequency was 63,2%. To map and analyse the material, which was done mainly through crosstabs, chi-square tests and logistic regressions, the statistics software SPSS 11.5 was used.The parameter used to measure the health level is the individual?s own perception of his or her general health.

Uppsatsen berör den uppmärksammade trenden showrooming, att informationssöka produkter i fysisk butik men sedan genomföra köpet via en konkurrent online ? en typ av friåkande från offline- till onlinekanalen. Syftet är att förklara hur showroomingsker vid köp av produkter som potentiellt lämpar sig för detta, bl.a. genom att identifiera vilka faktorer som driver fenomenet. Produkter som särskilt påverkas av detta fenomen är upplevelsevaror som inhandlas med låg frekvens till hög kostnad.

Det finns en välkänd koppling mellan social bakgrund och framgång i skolan. Tidigare forskning visar också på ett samband mellan tillgång till socialt kapital och skolresultat. Med ett fåtal undantag, har denna koppling dock inte studerats i svenska förhållanden. Syftet med denna studie är att fylla denna kunskapslucka, och samtidigt undersöka om tillgången till socialt kapital förstärker eller utjämnar skillnader mellan elever med olika social bakgrund. Utifrån de teorier som utvecklats av bland andra Pierre Bourdieu och Nan Lin definierar jag socialt kapital som de värdefulla resurser ? ekonomiska, kulturella, sociala eller andra ? som är tillgängliga för individen genom hennes relationer till andra.

Background and problem: Whether or not the pay to executives is fair is widely debated. During the last years especially the variable pay has been in the spotlight. But at what levels are the compensations really at? Media?s focus is mainly on the absolute highest compensations which may result in a skew view on pay-for-performance incentives.Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to establish the levels of compensation to executives in a wide range of randomly selected companies listed on the Stockholm stock exchange during the years 2001 to 2005. Furthermore, the impact of a set of firm specific variables on compensation levels will be analyzed with basis in several hypothesis.Delimitations: The variable pay considered in this thesis will only be variable cash bonuses.

Profit in first commercial thinnings of today is hard to achieve. This is because of prevailing pulpwood prices and because of high costs of logging and transport. To reduce these costs higher productivity is advocated. One way to increase the productivity is the use of multi-tree handling harvester heads. The aim of this study was to calculate logging and transport costs in first thinnings, where multi-tree handling has been used.

Syfte med detta arbete var attbelysa den aktuella situationen i läkemedelsanvändningen på fyra äldreboende i mellersta Sverige. Studien utvisade, med hjälp av en enkät innehållande 27 frågor, skillnader i åtta sjuksköterskors kunskaper om läkemedel och prioritering av läkemedelsgenomgångar på arbetsplatserna. Granskningen visade även hur många läkemedel som användes genomsnittligt per boendeenhet, hur många fallolyckor som inträffade samt hur ofta och länge sjukhusvård behövdes under den sexmånader långa undersökningsperioden. Dessutom undersöktes om antalet läkemedel och antalet fallolyckor var relaterade till den omvårdnadsansvariga sjuksköterskans kunskaper om läkemedel. Antalet förskrivna läkemedel fanns tillgängliga med hjälp av Apotekens e-dos system.
