This report deals with RFID systems and how to detect nearby tags with the Mifare standard using only a microcontroller and an antenna circuit.The aim was to investigate whether there was any possibility to continuously search for a nearby tag for a system operated with batteries without compromising   the lifespan of the battery. At this time the system would take too long time to wake up and look for a tag to give a satisfactory battery lifespan, which should be done a couple of times every second.The report has two issues, namely:Is it possible to direct the microprocessor to detect and identify a nearby tag after the Mifare standard?What hardware is required for this to be possible?As the research method to provide answers to the above questions an action research was used. This approach has meant that the group worked on information retrieval, examined existing solutions, tested their own solutions and documented the results.The group examined an existing solution that can search for nearby tags with minimal energy consumption. An antenna circuit was built that was connected to the processor.

En utlandsstationering omfattar tre faser i individens karriärcykel - före resan, under vistelsen och slutligen efter hemkomsten. Uppsatsen utgår från en narrativ analys och metod, där intervjuer använts som teknik för insamlande av fyra utlandsstationerades berättelser. Studien inspireras av Kohonen (2005a, 2005b, 2007, 2008) som forskat på ledares identitetsrekonstruktion under utlandsstationering. I sin forskning finner hon stöd för att identiteten för de utlandsstationerade förändras, kulturellt eller professionellt, eller både professionellt och kulturellt men det finns individer vars identitet inte förändrats.

The aim of this essay was to describe what some Macedonian men had to say about their own and the Swedish alcohol culture and which alcohol culture they identify with.I did five qualitative interviews with Macedonian men that had moved to Sweden. Some of the questions that were asked are whether or not age, country and culture is of importance when it comes to the alcohol culture you have? The most important question to be answered is whether or not the Macedonian men had changed their alcohol consumption after moving to Sweden.The answers to the questions and the result of the essay is that there is no ideal type of alcohol culture but that the Macedonian men all agreed that they still drink as their fellow countrymen and they dislike the Swedish way of drinking..

Aim: Culture exists in every organization, whether you actively work with it or not. Old cultures often carry traditions and are hard to change. The purpose of this thesis is to describe Gävle Galvan from an organizational point of view and also to investigate the culture from a gender point of view.Method: The thesis is written with a qualitative and narrative approach. I have taken part in three person?s stories through interviews and thereby created picture of their everyday work on Gävle Galvan.

I takt med att handeln med finansiella tillgångar ökat har också intresset för att finna tillförlitliga metoder att bedöma risken ökat. Ett mått för att mäta risken för en tillgång eller för en portfölj av tillgångar är Value-at-Risk (VaR). VaR definieras som; den med viss sannolikhet förväntade förlusten från ogynnsamma marknadsrörelser över en definierad tidsperiod. Fördelen med VaR är att riskbedömningen bryts ner till ett enda mått som är ganska lätt att förstå. Det finns flera olika sätt att beräkna VaR och det har gjorts många undersökningar för att testa vilken modell som ger bäst resultat.

The report is a project in cooperation with the Swedish toy company Playsam. The assignment was to design a new toy to their range of products, a pull along toy in shape of a snail with a mechanical function. The research phase contains studies and analysis of the company, its identity, product range and its customers. The research phase includes all the information needed to complete the project. A number of concepts were presented for evaluation by the company.

I examensarbetet har möjlig denitrifikationshastighet för lakvattnet på Bredemads avfallsdeponi i Ljungby undersökts. Denitrifikationshastigheten har tagits fram i satsvisa och kontinuerliga försök där Reppos 40T och Brenntaplus VP1 har jämförts som externa kolkällor. De satsvisa försöken har genomförts i temperaturerna 15 °C, 20 °C och 22,5 °C och de kontinuerliga försöken har genomförts med reningsmetoden ?Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor? (MBBR) med bärare som hade en skyddad yta på 500 m2/m3.Denitrifikationshastigheten i g/(dygn?m2) med Reppos 40T var 0,45 och med Brenntaplus VP1 1,05. I reaktorn med Reppos 40T var fyllnadsgraden 48 % och denitrifikationshastigheten 4,5 g/(h?m3).

Vision can be a powerful tool for steering a company. But to be able to use it fully, you must also understand how vision is best conveyed to employees and followers. If you understand the vision as a tool, you can fully utilize it.

This master thesis has three purposes. The first purpose is to give a theoretical background of how to divide up forest estates and to study how the legal system for these matters works. A literature study has been carried out to give the background and a theoretical model has been made for analysing the law cases. The first purpose also partly touched the decision process in dividing up forest estates from point of view of the law of land parcelling (FBL), point of view. The second purpose is to examine effects of a change of production requirements in 3 cap.7 § FBL as regards dividing up forest estates of private forest owners.

This thesis aims to provide Arvika with a deeper insight into what their new residents think about the information they receive. Anyone moving to Arvika gets the magazine ?Nyinflyttad/Recently moved in" sent home. The year 2011 Arvika had 1017 new residents, and they all got the same version of the magazine "Nyinflyttad/Recently moved in." A simpler version of the magazine hasn?t been made, although the municipality is aware that it is needed.The aim of my thesis is to see if the information that Arvika is sending to its new residents in meeting their information needs. To get the answer on this question, I have examined data from the target group perspective.

This thesis has been conducted at Saab Bofors Dynamics AB. The purpose was to investigate if a non-linear missile model could be stabilized when the optimal control signal is computed considering constraints on the control input. This is particularly interesting because the missile is controlled with rudders that have physical bounds. This strategy is called Model Predictive Control. Simulations are conducted to compare this strategy with others; firstly simulations with step responses and secondly simulations when the missile is supposed to hit a moving target.

The linear televison have dominated the supply of moving pictures, but this is about to change with the possibility to consume it via the Internet.I n this thesis we have studied how the two Swedish tv-network companies, SVT and TV4 are working with their web TV and if their online services have affected the linear TV. To limit the size of the study we chose two network companies that provide the most popular tv channels and web services in Sweden. To gather data from these two companies we conducted qualitative interviews with people at the networks. We came to the conclusion that SVT and TV4 doesn't find that their web TV services (called SVT Play and TV4 Play) are competing with the linear TV. They rather regard them as assets to broaden their services.

This thesis was conducted to assess how the privatization of Iran Air process managed in last efforts and how should it be in right way. It increases the knowledge about privatization in Iran and the need for it. Iran air as our case study is a flag-carrier airline company that is protected by government regulations and subsidies. We try to find the reasons for failure of privatization in Iran Air and their attempt on privatization.The method used to collect data was a qualitative methodology, consisting of semi-structured interviews with relevant managers, and knowledgeable professors and the official sites and press. In conclusion, we find that privatization is an important need for Iran Air Company and the main problems that are against Iran Air can be categorized to political, financial, and social.

This study investigates how assistive technology tools are used in the classroom by students in reading and writing disabilities in the school years immediately prior to moving to gymnasium. Through observations and interviews with two students and two teachers this study also considers if the use of these tools can lead to increased accessibility and goal fulfilment, and whether these elements are prerequisites for success. The result shows that the students use laptops in the classroom, primarily for writing longer texts, and that in order to be successful, an early start, equipment, time and positive attitudes towards the tools are important. The students use the tools in the classroom, but they have very different feelings about how included they are in the class. The participants see a clear link between the use of assistive technology tools and increased goal fulfilment. .

In this study we try to focus on the costs for wear parts on different type of soil tillage machines and at Väderstad Rapid drilling machine. We have studied some of the leading types of cultivators and disk harrows. Among the cultivators we have investigated Väderstad Cultus, Dalbo Dinkomax, Horsch Tiger and Terrano. At disk harrow we have looked at Amazone Catros and Väderstad Carrier. We have made more detailed study on costs for wear parts, working depth, driving speed and diesel consumption.
