European FoodSafety Inspection Service. EFSIS erbjuder oberoende inspektionsservice designat för mat, dryck och närliggande branscher. Den standard som Schenker Coldsped AB överväger att certifiera sig emot är EFSIS tekniska standard för lagring och distribution av livsmedel.Coldsped är en del av Schenker Sverige AB. Företaget arbetar med helhetslösningar för transport och lagring av kylda och frysta livsmedel över hela Europa.

In 1809 the citizens of Sweden where given the freedom to practice their Christian faith through the Swedish constitution of 1809, 16 §. This proclaimed that there should be religious freedom in Sweden, albeit restricted to Evangelical-Lutheran faith. Although after the law regarding dissenters was passed in 1860 by choosing another church than the Evangelical-Lutheran church you lost some civic rights, for example you could not become a public official. The freedom to choose religious affiliation was given through the Law of Religious Freedom in 1951. The purpose of this study is to evaluate in what way the concept of religious freedom has developed in Swedish law between 1809 and 1951.In the background I treat two historical events and one era, with focus upon religious freedom, which have in my opinion influenced the view of religious freedom in Sweden during the chosen period of 1809?1951.

Meat and fish was the most important food for the Sami people in northern Scandinavia until the beginning of the 20th century. It is not so well known that the Sami people also used a lot of wild plants as food and medicine although that kind of food was relatively common among them until the end of the 19th century. The purpose of this master thesis has been to describe which plants the Sami people used in general and also which plants were the most commonly used, and when and how these plants were harvested. I also wanted to measure the quantities of Angelica archangelica and Rumex acestosa within traditional harvest sites. Furthermore I wanted to find out if the plant use differed among Sami groups geographically.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka hur och varför iPaden används inom matematikundervisningen i årskurs ett till årskurs tre. Dessutom har det undersökts vilka applikationer som används och om lärarna kopplar användandet av iPaden till kursplanen. Forskningen kring iPadanvändningen i matematikundervisningen är begränsad, vilket har gjort denna undersökning intressant för att belysa detta område. Undersökningen har en kvalitativ ansats och intervju har använts som metodval. Fyra lärare har intervjuats och en semistrukturerad intervjumall har använts som skapats utifrån syftets tre forskningsfrågor.

Inbreeding, the mating of related individuals, has been the one dominating breeding strategy for dog breeders during the last 200 years. However, its negative effects on fer-tility and other fitness traits, a phenomenon called inbreeding depression, have been ignored in the quest of perfect unity in conformation or performance. The purpose of this study was to test the hypotheses that litter size is reduced as a consequence of in-breeding, affected by both the inbreeding coefficient of the dam and the litter and that a rapid increase in the inbreeding coefficient affects litter size more than a slower rate. Data were collected from the Swedish Kennel Club registry of origin. Breeds included in the study were the Bernese Mountain Dog, the Cocker Spaniel, the Golden Retriever, the Rottweiler and the West Highland White Terrier.

In 1513 the Florentine humanists Niccolò Machiavelli composed one of the most famous, but also ambiguously interpret, work in the history of politics, Il Principe. Machiavelli´s book The Prince revealed the true nature of politics in Italy in the beginning of the sixteenth century and gives very straightforward advice on how to act to become a successful and powerful political being. Machiavelli´s creation and insights in the reality of politics have be much discredited and condemned in its lack of moral consideration and violent nature. Still it has been read under the centuries with a fascination and eager to understand the structure of power and how to master it. My purpose with this study is to apply this Machiavellian idea of the capable prince on to the earlier research of the Swedish duke Karl, later on King Karl IX.

BAKGRUND Kattens trombocyter har egenskaper som gör att dagens automatiska och manuella hematologianalyser ofta ger falskt låg trombocyträkning (pseudotrombocytopeni). Trombocyträkningen (PLT) riskerar att bli missvisande låg på grund av att trombocyterna hos katter kan vara mycket större än trombocyterna hos övriga arter, samt för att katters trombocyter in vitro ofta är så lättaktiverade att aggregat bildas. En del av de största trombocyterna räknas inte av de automatiska hematologiinstrumenten (framför allt impedanstyper) och trombocytaggregat medför att trombocyterna blir ojämnt fördelade i blodprovet. Vid sant låga trombocytvärden kan livshotande blödningar uppstå och det är därför viktigt att kunna skilja katter med sann trombocytopeni från katter med falsk trombocytopeni. Trombocytaggregering har effektivt förhindrats med prostaglandin E1. Prostaglandin E1 är dock mycket instabilt i rumstemperatur, vilket medför att effekten lätt kan utebli vid felhantering. Nyligen presenterade en studie analogen iloprost.

During the period of occupation of Norway between the years 1940-1945 the National Lutheran Church took the responsibility of supporting the Norweigans in their ideological battle against the Nazis. This was a period named Holdningskampen in Norwegian history. One person to remember was Eivind Berggrav, bishop in Oslo diocese. He was the one responsible for the theological document of importance Kirkens Grunn that became important as a document against the Nazis and the small percentage of Christians that related to the naziinspired-church. Berggrav was also one of the founders of Den Midlertidlige Kirkeledelsen, the organisation responsible for the non-nazified churches.

Chiari type I malformation is a condition in humans characterized by a small posterior cranial fossa, downward herniation of the cerebellar tonsils, foramen magnum overcrowding and disturbances of cerebrospinal fluid dynamics. Syringohydromyelia is often seen in patients with Chiari type I malformation. Syringohydromyelia is characterized by fluid-filled cavities in the spinal cord. This causes damage to the nervous tissue in the spinal cord. In recent years, a condition similar to Chiari type I malformation has been recognized in dogs. It has mostly been seen in Cavalier King Charles spaniels (CKCS). The condition seen in dogs is usually called occipital bone hypoplasia. The aim of the study was to examine whether there is a difference in the shape of the caudal fossa between CKCS, small bred dogs with a similar head shape and dogs with a normal head shape and if occipital bone hypoplasia is related to a head shape with a steep back of the head. Other aims of the study were to examine the crowding of nervous tissue in the foramen magnum in each breed group, the extent of syringohydromyelia and to what extent the malformation had caused neurological signs. Sculls from dogs on autopsy were divided in halves and the position of the cerebellum compared to the level of the foramen magnum was studied.

Examensarbetets mål är att beskriva och beräkna Arvidsjaurs och Arjeplogs kommuners framtida bergmaterialbehov med utgångspunkt från bygg- och anläggningsprojekt som pågår och som planeras. Syftet är att få en sammanställning som visar om materialet räcker till eller om det finns behov att öppna nya täkter. Sammanställningen kan med fördel användas av kommunerna som planeringsunderlag beträffande nya vägbyggnadsprojekt. Alla tillståndsgivna täkter i Arvidsjaurs och Arjeplogs kommuner har kartlagts och täkternas kapacitet har också tagits fram. Även alla pågående och planerade vägarbeten kommunvis och årsvis från år 2005 fram till 2009 har karterats.

This essay is about a deserted medieval habitation called Skyttsie Hage which is located in the south of Sweden in the Scania province where it lies on a moor on the Falsterbopeninsula. Remains of five to six larger buildings have been found here with a surrounding earthwork, although it's not known for sure what kind of habitation they have been part of. Local folklore from the 17:th century states the area as a place where pirates lived, and that this was the reason for it's devastation. Another says that there once stood a breedingfarm belonging to the danish crown. Archaeologists have made several speculations which includes a deer park, a royal estate, an isolated farm or a smaller village.

South Africa has been among the top ten wine producing countries for at least 20 years. Even though the land under grapevines is decreasing globally it is still increasing in Africa. The awareness of environment has strengthen the last years and South African producers experience a high demand of environmentally friendly produced wine, especially from the European market. This demand was the driving force behind the development of the world unique sustainability certification, Integrated Production of Wine (IPW), which is inscribed in the South African legislation. What makes this certification unique is that consumers can trace their product all the way back to the farming practices owing to the identity number specified on the IPW Integrity & Sustainability seal on certified products.

Genom att studera livslängd och dödsorsaker hos hundar kan man identifiera rasspecifika sjukdomar och problem och på så sätt utforma avelsprogram där man försöker motverka dessa. Det är inte enbart sjukdomar som gör att hundar dör eller avlivas, utan orsakerna är många. Syftet med detta arbete var att utifrån en litteraturstudie sammanställa de vanligaste dödsorsakerna och medellivslängden hos hundar. Medellivslängden i de olika undersökta studierna varierade mellan 10-11 år, där en av studierna avvek med medellivslängden 6,4 år. Blandraser blev något äldre än den genomsnittliga hundpopulationen medan vissa renrasiga hundar levde längre än blandraser.Ålderdom hörde till den vanligaste eller näst vanligaste orsaken att dö av enligt de olika studierna och mortalitetsrisken ökade med stigande ålder.

Blodtrycksmätning på hund har utförts i ett flertal tidigare studier. Fokus har framförallt legat på att jämföra indirekta och direkta mätmetoder i och med att det visat sig svårt att validera indirekta metoder för blodtrycksmätning på hund. Friska hundar har studerats tidigare, men få har genomfört standardiserade mätningar på friska hundar. Syftet med denna studie var således att undersöka blodtrycksvariabler och hjärtfrekvens hos friska hundar i olika standardiserade situationer i klinikmiljö och därefter göra jämförelser dels mellan de olika situationerna och dels mellan de olika deltagande raserna i studien. Dessutom jämfördes mätningarna gjorda på klinik med samma typ av mätningar i hemmiljö på ett mindre antal hundar.
