Vårdenhetschefers upplevelser av sin betydelse för personalens arbetsplatslärande och deras upplevelser av lärandestyrt förbättringsarbete

Bakgrund: Ekonomisk, teknisk, medicinsk utveckling och medborgares förväntningar styr ökade krav på god vård. Arbetet i hälso- och sjukvården är kunskapsintensivt och i ständig utveckling. Chefer ska kunna ge instruktioner, förtydliga arbetsuppgifter, stödja prioriteringar och ge medarbetare stöd och återkoppling. Detta sätter fokus på ledarskap och lärande. Socialstyrelsen i Sverige menar att det behövs ökade kunskaper i hälso- och sjukvården, om lärandestyrt förbättringsarbete.

?Lärare gillar alltid gammal musik mer? : En undersökning av undervisningens påverkan på elevernas musikpreferenser på ett estetgymnasium

I den här uppsatsen undersöker jag musikelever på gymnasiets estetiska program i Västerås, och vilken effekt undervisningen har på deras musikpreferenser. Resultaten baseras på två enkäter, en till elever och en till lärare. Undersökningen visar att eleverna till största delen är positiva till den musik de möter i skolan, men bara en mindre del av dem lyssnar på den musiken privat..

AbstractThis study is based on qualitative interviews with five-year-old children from a nursery school and two teachers with great experience. The purpose with the interviews is to find out what knowledge these children have about the Right of Common and what the teachers think they need to find this knowledge.The children didn't know what the word Right of Common stands for but when they got more concrete alternatives they had good experiences. The two teachers had different opinions about what is the most important concerning the stays in the nature. Exercise meant a lot for one teacher. To have fun and to use all your senses were more important for the other one.

Ett enhetligt budskap? : En textanalys av publikationer från Skolverket kring sambandet mellan resurser och resultat

There is a general conception among those who are involved in the school-sector that there is a relation between resources and results. Better qualified teachers, smaller classes and schools with more finacial funding are regarded as better learning and development conditions for pupils (Gustafsson 2008). In spite of these widespread understanding, educational and economic research studies at the beginning of the 20th century had reached the verdict that resources have no bearing on educational results (Gustafsson 2008). The Swedish board of education (Skolverket) have published several reports, studies and surveys regarding the relation between resources and student outcomes.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the message of six publications from the Swedish board of education around the relationship between resources and student outcomes on the basis of the decentralization of the Swedish school in the 1990´s. The central question at issue is whether the Swedish board of education has been consistent in their message about the relationship between resources and results in the six publications between 1994-2009? I have also attempted to answer the resulting questions of my conclusion.This study is based on a qualitative text analysis.

Med fokus på körsång i musikundervisning : En studie av musiklärares interaktion med kör i musikklass

In musikklasser (a special musical training which focus on choral singing is offered in the Swedish compulsory school from the age of ten until the age of sixteen) teachers are working in a tradition where conventions relating to singing with children have developed in accordance with the Swedish choral tradition. In these classes, students are trained in large groups, usually around 30 students in one class. Furthermore, one teacher and 60 students is also frequent in schools with two or more parallell grades. In a large choir group, students develop their skill in choral singing, which includes the development of general musical knowledge as well as the development of the individual singing voice of each student in order for the choir to be able to interpret and perform music with a communal musical expression. Thus, the complexity in this teaching and learning setting places high demands on the choir teachers? ability to use appropriate teaching and learning strategies in order to develop the specific musical skill required in a choir.In this study, two choral teachers´ interaction with their choir class were investigated.

This thesis explores the possibilities of avoiding the issues generally associated with compression of noisy imagery, through the usage of vector quantization. By utilizing the learning aspects of vector quantization, image processing operations such as noise reduction could be implemented in a straightforward way. Several techniques are presented and evaluated. A direct comparison shows that for noisy imagery, vector quantization, in spite of it's simplicity, has clear advantages over MPEG-4 encoding..

The purpose of the study is to investigate into professional knowledge of the bilingual teachers, compared to monolingual, and what benefits they give to pre-school. Qualitative method was used to get an understanding of informant´s perspective on bilingual teachers. The informants believe that bilingual teachers are able to understand all the children. A bilingual teacher can make the children feel secure. If one has a positive attitude toward bilingualism, the bilingual children also show a positive attitude that in turn contributes to learning and development of the language..

Hundars inlärning : inlärning i förhållande till hundens ålder

Syftet med föreliggande undersökning var att studera sambandet mel¬lan hundars ålder och deras inlärnings- respektive problemlösnings¬förmåga. Undersökningen genomför¬des på 17 hundar med ett ålders¬spann på 12 -123 månader. Hun¬darna genomförde en inlärningsövning och en problemlösnings¬övning. Det visade sig finnas en svag icke sig¬nifikans tendens att de yngre hundarna hade ett lägre antal träningstill¬fällen. En slutsats som kan dras från detta är att det krävs ett stort stickprov för att få fram reliabla resultat gällande yngre och äldre hun¬dars inlärningsförmåga..

The communication of self-service within the ICA-sphere, 1945-1960, points tothe central role of communication in technological change. The councils communicated their reservations early on, while theother actors spread knowledge (both economic and practical) of the innovation tothe retailers, and some also to the consumers. Naturkunskap A är ett kärnämne på gymnasiet och därför läser alla gymnasieelever ämnet. Vad tycker eleverna om ämnet och hur föredrar de att arbeta? Hur ser lärarna på ämnet och hur vill de arbeta? Genom en enkätundersökning, där vi gjort en enkät till lärare och en enkät till elever, undersöker vi hur Naturkunskap A ser ut på olika skolor, då det gäller undervisning och val av läromedel.Syftet med vår undersökning är att skaffa oss kunskap om elevers olika sätt att lära. Vi vill även ta reda på i vilken utsträckning lärare använder andra läromedel än läroboken inom de olika ämnesområdena i Nk A. För att få reda på detta utgick vi från våra frågeställningar:? I vilken grad används andra läromedel än läroboken i Nk A?? Vilken attityd har elever till de olika ämnesområdena i Nk A?? Hur lär elever bäst, enligt elever, enligt lärare?? Diskuterar lärare målen i Nk A med eleverna?Vi bestämde oss för att åka till de skolor där enkäterna besvarades och därför ligger vår urvalsgrupp inom en tio mils radie från Jönköping.

This thesis has created an image of the exchange of information among teachers in the Swedish upper secondary school. The study indicates that the exchange of information seems to be limited at all levels and the exchange that takes place outside the own teaching team occurs mainly through teachers personal networks. The study also shows barriers that may exist and the opportunities that an increased exchange may generate. From the picture that the empirical material provides and the theory that is presented a discussion is made around how IT can best support the organizational learning in schools. A concrete proposal is that at national level an IT platform should be created, which primarily focuses on materials that are created by its users and has an open architecture with a single login..

The purpose of this study is to examine how some early year pupils define homework, how much homework they get and also how these pupils perceive that they are affected by the homework. The study is qualitative where ten pupils participated in a semi structured interview. The study will show that these pupils are given homework once a week. The homework is mostly math and reading. The study will continue to show that the pupils believe that homework is important for their learning and also that homework often is boring and that it competes with recreational activities such as friends, sports and rest.
