Volvo Construction Equipment is one of the worlds largest manufacturer of heavymachinery. In Braås, Sweden, they develop and manufacture articulated haulers inseveral sizes. The biggest, the A40, is capable of loading almost 40 metric tonnes.These haulers have a bogie to distribute the forces of the load evenly onto the two axlesand there wheels. The bogie is constructed using a rigid balance beam on each side ofthe frame connecting the axles or an independent solution using hydropneumatics.An analysis has been made in order to establish the forces created during corneringand through the theory, an estimation of the extensive tyre wear and extra fuelconsumption has been made. All due to the effects of the tyres not being inline with thecornering radius.

Elektrisk simulering modaliteter (ES) är en relativt riskfri och enkel att implementeras vid rehabilitering. Syftet: En kunskapssammanställning som undersöker effekten av klinisk tillämpning av elektrisk stimulerings modaliteter på post-stroke spasticitet och motor funktion. Metod: En systematisk kunskap sammansättning för att skapa en överblick över kunskapsläget inom elektrisk stimulerings effekt på post-stroke spasticitet och motorfunktion. Inkluderade studier har identifierats via sökning databaser.

Samarbete i nätverk är något som allt fler företag anammar. I en nätverkskonstellation med flera olika mål och viljor blir det alltmer viktigt att effektivisera samarbetet. Det behövs en annan syn på effektiviteten, eller snarare ett komplement till den operativa nivån. För att snabbt kunna ställa om sin verksamhet för att tillfredställa kunder krävs att organisationer är väl förberedda och har en uttänkt strategi för sitt handlande. Detta kan uttryckas som strategisk effektivitet.

If Swedish companies are to compete with companies in low-cost countries they have to achieve a more efficient production. The purpose of Total Productivity Maintenance (TPM) is to increase the company's profitability by increasing the productivity. TPM is a method that involves all employees and aims to prevent failures in order to increase the availability of existing equipment.The aim of this paper is to evaluate the implementation process of TPM and give recommendations for the further implementation process. The conclusion and the analysis are based on a case study done at a production department at ABB Cewe-Controls facilities in Nyköping. The case study consists mainly of qualitative data from participation observations, surveys and interviews.Commitment of the management is a key factor in the implementation process of TPM.

Micronic Laser Systems AB produces and develops machines for the photo mask production market. One of their products is the Omega machine which exposes photo masks using 5 laser beams simultaneously. It is important that the distance between the each laser beam, the x-separation, is the same. The x-separation is today measured by exposing a photo mask with a certain pattern and thereafter measured with a metrology system. This takes to much time and it is desired to find a faster method to measure the x-separation without loosing precision.The task for this master thesis is to improve an existing measurement method which uses a calibration mask.

Det faktum att de undersökta bankerna verkar på samma area med likvärdiga produkter är även det av stort intresse beträffande homogeniteten i den ekonomiska styrningen. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera Sveriges storbankers centrala ekonomiska styrning i form av graden av decentralisering, användandet av budget samt valet av nyckeltal. Rapportförfattarna söker även analysera likheter och skillnader i dessa styrsystem då detta torde vara intressant eftersom de alla tillhandahåller liknande tjänster på en relativt mogen marknad. Aluminium sulphate (Al2(SO4)3) is usually added during the drinking water treatment processin order to precipitate organic and inorganic material, resulting in aluminium-based drinkingwater treatment residual sludge (WTR). Since 2003 Swedish law no longer permits WTR tobe deposited in lakes, and there is an interest to explore the possibility to utilize WTR as soilamendment. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of WTR application on cropgrowth and concentrations of macronutrients and trace elements (including micronutrients andpotential toxic elements). A greenhouse pot experiment was conducted with three soils; a clayloam rich in phosphorous (P), a loamy sand rich in P, and a silty loam with a low soil Pconcentration, and two crop species Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam. cv.

I denna uppsats undersöker jag utbildningens roll i denna utveckling, mer specifikt: vilken effekt utbildning och utbildningspolitik har haft på Sydkoreas ekonomiska tillväxt mellan 1960 och 1990? Metodologin präglas av kvantitativ data och huvuddragen i metodologin är beskrivning av ekonomiska processer, presentation av empirisk data samt analys med koppling till ekonomisk teori.

SammanfattningDen här studiens syfte har varit att undersöka vilka uppfattningar pedagogerna har om barns kroppsliga rörelser i verksamheten, både i den fria spontana leken och i de planerade rörelseaktiviteterna. De har även fått dela med sig av sina tankar om barns möjligheter till rörelser i verksamheten och hur de ser att det påverkar barnens motoriska utveckling, inlärning och rörelseglädje. Detta har möjliggjorts genom att använda sig av det fenomenologiska perspektivets ?glasögon? där människan erfar världen genom kropp och sinne. Tidigare forskning visar att det finns ett samband mellan rörelse, utveckling och inlärningsförmåga.

The subject-matter of the following essay is to investigate the relationship between what is commonly called Deep Ecology or Biocentric Philosophy, as articulated by the co-founder of the Deep Ecology Movement, Arne Naess, and later proponents of the biocentric school of environmentalist thought. I contrast Naess? concept of Self-realization as founded in his Ecosophy T to the ideas of american conservationist and co-founder of the radical green movement Earth First! Dave Foreman, and to the controversial finnish environmentalist and ecofascist Pentti Linkola?s ideological agenda of population-reduction respectively.According to some critics of the movement, especially the social ecologist Murray Bookchin and French liberal philosopher Luc Ferry, the Deep Ecology ideology is essentially misanthropic and totalitarian in structure. A central idea among deep ecologists is that ecosystems and natural entities have intrinsic value in themselves, even outside a human social context. This idea is thought of among deep ecologists to create a philosophically sound basis for counteracting the environmental global crisis.

Abstract The purpose of this project is to develop a modular processor card which is intended to work as a platform for Kitron Development Karlskoga. The modular processor card is meant to be used as a control system in development projects, mainly in medical and industrial products. The processor card will consist of a central unit with the basic functions for a control system. Furthermore there will be complete modules with machine commodity and programming, to pick exactly the necessary functions for a specific application. With consideration to the specification of the development and the main unit, I chose an adequate microprocessor (AT90CAN32) as core and interface circuits to stated border areas. The construction is first completed in the program MultiSim and then remade in the program OrCAD Capture. The programming language C was used in the software model.

This thesis approaches the problem of estimating the arm angles of an industrial robot with flexibilities in joints and links. Due to cost-cutting efforts in the industrial robots industry, weaker components and more cost-effective structures have been introduced which in turn has led to problems with flexibilities, nonlinearities and friction. In order to handle these challenging dynamic problems and achieve high accuracy this study introduces state observers to estimate the tool position.The observers use measurements of the motor angles and an accelerometer and the different evaluated observers are based on an Extended Kalman Filter and a deterministic variant. They have been evaluated in experiments on an industrial robot with two degrees of freedom. The experimental verification shows that the state estimates can be highly accurate for medium frequency motions, ranging from 3-30Hz.
