Background: Since the start of the twenty-first century it has become very important for companies to act in a responsible manner, in guides of CSR. The idea is that companies have more responsibilities than to achieve a higher profit for their shareholders. They should also care about the society and act in a responsible way.Problem discussion: Problems concerning CSR are that the internal part of the sustainability work has not encountered the same level as the external part of the sustainability work. Companies are today struggling with implementing CSR into their business strategies.Research questions:1. What does a company has to consider when working with CSR? 2. How can management control systems help the implementation of CSR into the organisation?Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to examine what a company has to consider when working with CSR and how management control systems can help the implementation of CSR into the organisation.

På dagens tjänstemarknad råder hård konkurrens. Inom bilservicebranschen har fokus tidigare endast varit på bilen men har nu skiftat till ett mer kundinriktat fokus. Bilservicebranschen har svårt att leverera vad som utlovas och flera oberoende tester visar på fusk under bilservicen, kunderna får därmed inte vad de betalar för. Det kombinerat med att bilarna blir mer tekniska och att kunder överlag saknar kompetens och har lite insyn i det arbete som utförs på verkstäderna skapar en problematik. Problematiken ligger i att bristen på transparens och kunskap gör det svårt för kunderna att bedöma om den utförda bilservicen är av hög kvalitet.

Vid skogskörning med traktor sitter föraren vänd framåt vid förflyttning och vänd bakåt vid lastning. Möjligheten finns för föraren att även förflytta traktorn sittandes vänd bakåt, men då måste traktorn vara köpt med den funktionen som tillval. Syftet med det här examensarbetet är att ta fram ett styrsystem som kan eftermonteras och som gör att traktorn kan styras av föraren även när denne sitter vänd bakåt. Två lösningar togs fram och gemensamt för de två är att ratten skall drivas av en motor som styrs av antingen en styrspak, miniratt eller strömbrytare. Den första lösningen går ut på att motorn och dess drivhjul går att fälla till eller från ratten beroende på om traktorn skall styras med ratten eller med styrspak, miniratt eller strömbrytare.

This study focuses on the internal marketing and how it affects the complaints by companies? communication control. Our purpose with this subject is to increase the understanding of which components affects the relation between internal marketing, communication control and complaints. We have chosen the subject, internal marketing because it caught our interest in an earlier course. On the basis of the literature of costumer complaint there have not been so much research about it and that is why we have chosen this perspective on internal marketing.This study is based on a qualitative approach.

A new site- and construction-law came into effect in May 2011. The new law, PBL2010:900 implies several different changes of the law. These changes concern bothconstructors, people working in municipality and county councils and other peoplethat in some way are related to the building sector. Except from the change in orderof the chapters and the renewed and modernized language, the law has now beenextended with a few new phases.According to the new law a certificate has to be issued to start and finish theconstruction; the construction consulting has changed name into technical consultingand the protocol for the controls has to show what the control is being compared to.This diploma work concerns control visits on construction sites as related to the newlaw. The reason why visits on construction sites are now implemented in the law isbecause the government saw a lack of trustworthiness in the old law.

The task in this master thesis was to design and construct a prototype of a satellite antenna driver unit. The unit is to be robust and work in cold weather down to -40°C, so that it can be mounted on the roof of a minibus. A microcontroller controls the H-bridges simultaneous, each connected to an electrical motor. Hardware and software protections were implemented to ensure that the antenna can not turn outside its allowed area and risk breaking. The unit can output voltages at many different levels and communicate at a multitude of signal standards..

The purpose of this study was to examine leadership in the public sector based on leadership models, organizational factors, conditions and health of employees. The study was divided into sub-study one and two. In sub-study one the design was an observational study using cross sectional design in which 67 first line managers in the public sector answered a survey about conditions and leadership models. Sub-study two was an observational study using case-control design focusing on a health promoting leadership intervention in the municipal sector. Two semi-structured interviews and 41 surveys were collected.

As requested by the company Husqvarna AB, we have developed a prototype of an electrical start device to a chainsaw. This was done through the development of new details in Catia, which has been integrated with existing details. Electrical components have been purchased by HAB electronics. In parallel with the modeling calculations was done, which was the basis for determine dimensions and the choice of an electric motor and gears. Prototype 1 improved gradually and led to prototype number 2, which became the final result.

The aim of this study was to explore how six men who run a micro-enterprisewith a maximum of 10 employees handle the balance between work and otherlife. Qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews was conducted and thesample consisted of six men with micro-enterprises of varying ages. The themesused in the interviews were boundless work, roles, boundaries strategies anddemand / control - social support. The results showed that micro- entrepreneursdo not experience any major imbalance between work and other life. The studyrevealed that the division of roles in the home of the elderly respondents was ofthe classical gender character that woman took great responsibility in the home.Among the younger respondents the unpaid work at home was equal divided.Social support was perceived highly by all respondents, and they alsoexperienced a high level of control over the requirements of the job.

This thesis has been done at the Unversity of Örebro for Örebro University Hospital (USÖ). In our work we have developed a product for hearing tests to determine hearing thresholds of small children. Our product contains software and a control surface for controlling two separate screens. One of the demands was that our software could handle big file libraries. Reliability and simplicity were essential for the user.In our work we have utilized programming of both microcontrollers and Windows software.

Syftet med studien var att belysa hur motivation på arbetsplatsen kan betraktas från ett inre och yttre perspektiv, med utgångspunkt från ett antal specifika faktorer såsom samhörighet, kompetens, autonomi och kontroll i tillvaron. 126 respondenter, 99 kvinnor och 27 män besvarade en enkät som bestod av demografiska frågor, frågor kring chefens stöttande av autonomi, frågor om samhörighet, kompetens och arbetsmotivation samt ett testbatteri bestående av IMI scale, Work Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation Scale och Locus of Control. Studiens resultat visar att chefens stöttande av autonomi påverkade de anställdas inre arbetsmotivation positivt. Studien visar även på att det finns ett svagt samband mellan inre arbetsmotivation och tillfredsställelsen av de anställdas behov av autonomi och samhörighetAbstractThe purpose of this study was to see how work place motivation can be seen from an intrinsic and extrinsic perspective, with starting point from specific factors such as relatedness, competence, autonomy and control. The 126 respondents of the study, 99 women and 27 men, answered a questionnaire that consisted of a few demographic questions, questions about if the boss is supportive of autonomy, questions about relatedness, competence and work place motivation.

SammanfattningDenna uppsats beskriver design och implementering av en mer effektiv metod att styrakameraförsedda radiostyrda markfordon (UGV av engelskans Unmanned GroundVehicle). Det åstadkoms genom att införa samma kontroller som är vanliga i actionspel iförsta persons perspektiv, så kallat Free Look Control (FLC). Miljontals spelare kommeratt känna igen och vara bekväma med styrprincipen, vilket borde reducera dengenomsnittliga träningstiden samt förbättra prestationsförmågan. FLC gör det möjligt föroperatören att kontrollera kamerans läge direkt istället för via fordonet den sitter på.Detta görs genom att i mjukvara sammankoppla fordonets och kamerans rörelser.Utöver författandet av denna uppsats byggs en fungerande UGV-prototyp som kanstyras enligt både FLC och dagens standard, Tank Control (TC). Övertoner orsakade av varvtalsstyrda motordrifter ger problem i industrisystem. Syftet med studien är att identifiera problemen och ge rekommendationer för att undvika dem. Studien utfördes som examensjobb på KTH för konsultföretaget Ramböll. En litteraturstudie i ämnet kombinerades med elkvalitémätningar på drifter hos Sandvik Mining.Elkvalitéproblem orsakade av varvtalsstyrda motordrifter kommer till stor del av att frekvensstyrningen ger olinjärt strömuttag som, om nätet inte är tillräckligt starkt, påverkar spänningskvalitén. Problemen kan vara driftstopp, störd utrustning och ökat slitage på utrustning för att nämna några.Denna studie visar att vid ändringar i system innehållande övertoner kan framtida övertonshalter approximeras för vissa fall.

Konstruktionsgruppen inom Scania som detta examensarbete utfördes vid är benämnd NMKA och är en del av avdelningen NM ? Engine development som bedriver forskning & utveckling av Scania motorer.Denna avhandling inom produktutveckling tjänar syftet som slutgiltigt examinationsmoment för civilingenjörsprogrammet Innovation och produktdesign på Mälardalens högskola. Arbetet har utgått ifrån en metod för produktutveckling som lärs ut i samband med utbildningen.Uppdraget har baserats på frågeställningen att utveckla ett robust klamningskoncept för kablage på motor, som uppfyller de ergonomiska och konstruktionsmässiga krav som Scania ställer på sina artiklar.

Swedish school has for the last decades been using quality management as a method for improvement. Quality management is an enormous work and the whole school staff needs to be involved. The management consists of several parts like planning, surveys and interviews, analysis of the replies and setting up new goals. Parents, children and teachers are nowadays accustomed with quality surveys. The last few years these quality surveys have been computerized, but they still look almost the same, using little interaction with the respondent.I have had the opportunity to work with the company KMF Ventures, which has a vision that entails a more interactive web survey.
