Bakgrund: Flertal studier visar ett samband mellan regelbunden fysiskaktivitet och livskvalité bland äldre.Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur fysiskt aktiva äldre individer uppleverhälsa, livskvalité, känsla av sammanhang och hur det kan vara enförutsättning för fysisk aktivitet. Kan KASAM-livsfrågeformulär bidra tillökad förståelse för individens upplevda hälsa och fysiska aktivitet.Metod: Kvalitativ och kvantitativ. Utifrån kvantitativ ansats användesKASAM-livsfrågeformulär med 29 frågor uppdelat utifrån treområdeskomponenter; begriplighet, hanterbarhet och meningsfullhet. Somkvalitativt komplement gjordes 15 intervjuer. Data analyserades medinnehållsanalys.

Detta examensarbete gick ut på att enligt utvecklingsprocessen på Motion Control utveckla en prototyp av en kabelersättare för en produkt på företaget; USB I/O. USB I/O är en mät- och styrenhet och datainsamlingsenhet för USB-porten med flera in- och utkanaler som i flera applikationer har som nackdel att den är kabelbunden. Tanken var att göra en enhet som man ansluter USB I/O till och som kan kommunicera direkt med konventionella ?Bluetooth-dongles? som är vanligt förekommande på konsumentmarknaden.Tre undersökningar gjordes. Den första var en marknadsundersökning för att se lämpliga systemkoncept samt vilka konkurrenter som kan finnas.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka mödrars upplevelser av hur överföring mellan mor och dotter kan se ut gällande kroppsuppfattning och utseende, samt hur överföringen kunde påverkas genom medvetna val i mödrars eget förhållningssätt till sina kroppar. Tidigare forskningsresultat visade att moderns förhållningssätt till den egna kroppen i relation till kost och motion påverkade döttrarnas ätbeteende. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna var Bowlbys teorier kring anknytning, Meads den generaliserade och signifikante andre, Bourdieus begrepp hexis samt Chodorows teorier om modersfunktionen. Fem intervjuer med mödrar, i åldern 35-45 år genomfördes. Samtliga intervjuer spelades in för att senare transkriberas.

Background: The value of stock recommendations have been debated for a century andthe debate has escalated since Alfred Cowles (1933) published his research in ?Can StockMarket Forecasters Forecast?? As of late, savings in stocks has increased and the householdsare managing their savings more actively. The consequence of the increased interestin stocks has resulted in a growing market for stock recommendations. Not just financialmedia but daily newspapers have embraced this new found interest, hence stock recom-mendations can be found in almost all large newspapers in Sweden. Furthermore, this phe-nomenon has also lead to intensified research within stock recommendations.

The aim of this work was to investigate possible risk factors for colic in horses, and to describe what horse owners can do to prevent this condition. The gastrointestinal system of the horse is constructed for continuous high fibre consumption for a period up to eighteen hours a day. Under those conditions, the continuous flow of digesta stimulates gut motility so that the intestines move constantly. When the diet is changed rapidly and the horse is being fed high rations of concentrates each day, the risk of getting colic is higher compared to when consuming less concentrates and giving the horse a stable diet. Lack or absence of access to water and restricted allowance to move freely every day increases the risk of colic. Changed management practices and decreased activity contributes to increased risks, as well as other critical risk factors such as breed, season and age combined with rapidly changed management. More knowledge and education is required of the horse owners about feed requirements in the horse, management routines and rapidly changed activity..

Bakgrund Diabetes typ 1 är en vanlig sjukdom. Sjukdomen kan medföra komplikationer som kan påverkar livskvalitet hos de drabbade. Denna typ av sjukdom kräver livsstilsförändringar som påverkar till exempel kost och motion. Dessa förändringar är viktiga för både individen och behandlingseffekten. En av de viktigaste delarna i behandlingen av sjukdomen, är att ha kontroll över sin blodsockernivå för att på så sätt ha ett relativt bra liv.Syfte Syftet var att beskriva den hälsorelaterade livskvaliteten hos patienter med diabetes typ 1.Metod Metoden var en beskrivande litteraturöversikt där författarna har använt 15 vetenskapliga artiklar.

This report describes work on the thesis ?IT systems and organizational development?. The work is carried out on Stocksbro Energi AB, during spring 2009. The company wanted better flow in their production but also review if the inventory management function located in Visma SPCS Administration 2000, could be used in the organization. Under the first part of this report the system were tested to ensure if the system would work together with the organization.

Container Security Initiative was launched in 2002 by the US Customs and Border Patrol in order to secure the global flow of containers destined for USA. This thesis attempts to analyze Container Security Initiative in relation to a possible future scenario made by the weapons industry where the state's global traderoutes are being subject to militarization. A development which is partly based on the threat posed by global illegal trade. The latter is discussed and defined based on current research made by Carolyn Nordstrom, Moíses Naím and theories on the cosmopolitan perspective made by Ulrich Beck. Strategy documents concerning Container Security Initiative are then analyzed in terms of discourse to try to say something about what the program indicates.

The aim for this thesis was to develop a proposal of documentation, containing rules and procedures, which JernströmOffset needs to acquire the Certified Graphic Production certification. A fundamental part was to study the materialissued by Sveriges Grafiska Mediaförening, to clarify the requirements that must be met to obtain the certification. Therecommendations found in the CGP material must also be considered.Based on the requirements and recommendations of Certified Graphic Production, a mapping of the workflows atJernström Offset was performed. It was done by interviewing employees from different departments at the company,this to get a clear understanding of the operations carried out throughout the production flow and the final qualityfollow-up.During our reviewing process we found that a number of changes, in terms of working environment and practices,must be made at the company. As a result of this we propose some appropriate actions to be implemented.The documentation was finally written, through the requirements and recommendations of Certified GraphicProduction and then applied to Jernström Offset?s work procedures..

In this project a washing station has been constructed for Albany International AB. At present, there is no existing system to clean the dirty pipes that are coming back to the company.The work followed the product development process, and it started with the requirements list. This was followed by brainstorming, evaluation and completion.The result was a concept for de present time and one concept for the future.The present concept is intended to be built immediately. This is an adjustable bench with sliding bearings to facilitate the work. The actual cleaning is done with a high pressure washer that uses hot water.

This report contains results of our study at CTC in Ljungby. CTC produces heating products such as boilers, heat pumps and additional products to their heating systems.The purpose of the report is to make a proposal how CTC will supply their new production line for heat pumps with materials. The proposal includes a production layout and a scheme for how to place the material in the production storage.The new production line will produce two different products and both of them have several variants. The line will also have a mixed flow, so the products can be produced in a random order. These conditions demand that the production line has great flexibility and that the material to all the variants can be stored in the production storage.With these conditions as input we made a layout proposal to the company.

Kandidatarbetets innehåll undersöker och diskuterar frågeställningen: ?Hur påverkas narrativet i en film genom att gestalta ljudet akusmatiskt??. Med hjälp av teorier och slutsatser från filmteoretiker så som Michel Chion, David Sonnenschein och Klas Dykhoff, har vi till kortfilmen Alla ljuger skapat en ljudläggning med fokus på narrativa ljud utanför den rörliga bilden. Vårt resultat syftar till att skapa grunden till en svensk standardisering av de existerande teorier och metoder för gestaltning av akusmatiska ljud i film. The content of this bachelor thesis examines and discusses around the question: ?How does the implementation of acousmatic sounds affect the narrative of a motion picture??.

Syftet med denna undersökning var att se hur kvinnor i olika åldrar uppfattade begreppet hälsa ochvad de ansåg att de kunde göra för att främja hälsa, och om det fanns några speciella hinder till attfrämja hälsa. Denna studie genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats. Sammanlagt deltog 12 kvinnormed ett åldersspann på 22 ? 65 år. Dessa personer var uppdelade i två fokusgrupper med 5respektive 7 personer i varje grupp.

Bakgrund: Övervikt och fetma har visat sig vara ett växande folkhälsoproblem i hela världen och leder till ökad risk för många följdsjukdomar. Även i Sverige har det skett en kraftig ökning och år 2013 var nästan hälften av befolkningen överviktig. Motiverande samtal används allt mer i den förebyggande hälso- och sjukvården för att motivera patienter till en förändrad livsstil. Syfte: Var att beskriva om motiverande samtal påverkade livsstilsförändringar hos vuxna personer med övervikt och fetma. Metod: En litteraturöversikt med 13 kvantitativa och kvalitativa inkluderade vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades och bearbetades.

Because of this, plant nutrients are of great valuebut they also bring problems. As an example, the loss of nitrogen and phosphorusfrom agriculture and urban society's sewage systems contributes to some of today?smajor problems in water environment. Another problem associated with plantnutrients is that finite recourses are used in the production of mineral fertilizers.
