Antalet människor med diabetes i världen ökar, vilket anses bero på den ökadebefolkningsmängden, att befolkningen blir äldre, urbaniseringen samt att allt fler rör sigmindre och är överviktiga. Diabetes typ 2 är den vanligaste formen av diabetes i Sverigeidag och är kopplad till vår livsstil. Därför är kost och motion grundläggande ibehandlingen. Det är ett problem att individer inte vet vilka rekommendationer om kost deska följa och att de inte får tillräckligt med riktlinjer och utbildning om nutrition. Syftetmed litteraturstudien var att ur ett patientperspektiv identifiera faktorer som är av betydelseför valet av kost hos individer med diabetes typ 2.

Aquatic organisms are usually not exposed to single substances but rather to mixtures of toxicants in streams located in agricultural areas. The transport of pesticides used in the agricultural area in Sweden is monitored with continuous environmental supervision every year. During 2002-2008 an average of 10 pesticides were found in each sample and 40% of the samples contained substances with concentrations higher than the Water Quality Standards. Chemical risk management is normally based on single-test evaluations. A problem when assessing mixture toxicities is that the constituents and concentrations of pollutants in the environment vary greatly.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur man inleder fysiska tester och träning efter hjärtinfarkt samthur det påverkar konditionen och vilka faktorer som förstärker effekten av träning. Resultatet avden empiriska undersökning avsåg att jämföras med resultatet av den forskning som andraforskare utfört. Studien beskriver hjärtinfarkten vad gäller anatomi och patologi samt ger enöverblick över olika forskningsresultat inom området. En pilotstudie med en testpersoninnehållande ett förtest, en träningsperiod och ett eftertest genomfördes.Det stora antalet tester som gjorts visar sitt tydliga språk. Fysisk träning efter hjärtinfarkt ärgynnsamt och förbättrar återhämtningen avsevärt.

Large companies in today?s business environment are to a great extent depending on their credit score by rating institutes like Moody?s and Standard & Poor?s. There is however indications that these big institutes are not always rating companies accurately. This is why this thesis aims at developing a new credit rating model, CRITA-Score, with the objective of determining a company?s financial health more accurately.

Övervikt och fetma är ett hälsoproblem världen över och de två senaste årtionden har en ökning skett bland överviktiga. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva interventioner riktat mot att främja viktnedgång. Metoden som använts var en litteraturstudie där tolv vetenskapliga artiklar valdes ut efter artikelsökningar i CINAHL, PubMed samt manuella sökningar. Dessa kvalitetsgranskades sedan med hjälp av granskningsmallar av Polit och Beck (2012). Artiklarna redogjorde för studier genomförda med både kvalitativ och kvantitativ metod.

Studien syftade till att undersöka samband mellan psykosocial arbetsmiljö, positiv/negativ affektivitet, stress/energi, motionsgrad och upplevd hälsa, sjukfrånvaro och sjuknärvaro. Även den psykosociala arbetsmiljön och sinnesstämningars samband med motionsgrad undersöktes samt skillnader avseende kön, ålder, befattning och arbetstidsförläggning. Motionsgrad utgjorde således både beroende och oberoende variabel. Data insamlades via en enkät till 300 medarbetare på ett verkstadsindustriföretag och besvarades av 115 personer. Resultatet visade bland annat att stimulans, stress, energi och motionsgrad hade samband med hälsa, att en positiv affektivitet gav en högre motionsgrad och att lägre stress gav lägre sjukfrånvaro.

The purpose of this thesis is to try to find out what effect subject oriented projects like Energiutmaningen has on the teachers, with a focus on teachers? physics education. What was the experience for the teachers who participated and what effects did the project have on them. Four teachers were interviewed through qualitative interviews. From the result it showed that the most experienced teachers, who have been teaching physics for many years, gained a new perspective of their teaching, through their participation a development showed in their education.

In today?s IT world where software is constructed in a rapid pace, testing has become a crucial area to master when testing has to be done at a greater speed. To still be able to handle the demands of high quality software, companies have to spend more resources on testing and introduce test automation. By automating test cases the testers can gain time which they can spend on doing more complex testing and thereby increase the quality of the software.In this thesis we have helped Extenda AB, who delivers systems to retail companies, to introduce test automation in one of their customer specific projects. This has been done using their own in-house ?capture/replay? tool ECP (Extenda Cashier Player).We have also derived a process that explains how Extenda can introduce test automation on other customer projects.

Both students have previous experiences from model shoots ? but now want to study the possibilities to sell a product without a human model.The purpose of the thesis is to examine how to convey core values by commercial product photos - how to best capture the attention of a customer.

Här verkar allt från professionella till nybörjare och lokalbefolkningen har möjligheten att ta del av verksamheten genom den promenad som går genom byggnaden. Promenaden är en del av Hälsans stig, som genom Hjärt- och lungsjukas riksförbund, är ett projekt som bygger på att främja motion och att förebygga hjärt-kärlsjukdomar. Cirkus förknippas för många med underhållning, lekfullhet och glädje och jag vill att den nya byggnaden ska skapa en spänning och en vilja att veta mer om cirkus. Allt ska inte avslöjas vid första syn av byggnaden utan man ska känna lust att komma närmare, gå genom gången och ta reda på mer.

The information can then be used to assist companies when it comes to advertising, the design of messages and the choice of media channels when communicating with people born during the 80?s. Furthermore, the investigation intends to find out if there really is a global market for people born during the 80?s.Method: The authors believe that a purely quantitative or qualitative approach is not appropriate.

The purpose of this study is to examine certain aspects of work with men who use violence in intimate relationships. In a Government bill in late 90s the Government presented its action plan on what is expected to be done in each municipality, but investigations show that the work is stationary. 46 percent of the men, who are in treatment, choose to cancel it. We wanted to find out how society will meet up with men who use violence in their intimate relationship and how to go about in the meeting. Those who lead us to the answers in this qualitative method are three social workers and a therapist who has the task of helping these men. The study is based on interviews from three municipalities in southern Sweden, the municipalities made ??as in between 30-60 000 residents and businesses are startups; theoldest has been in operation for five years.The results showed that they had chosen to put these activities under the sections of the Social Services but is counted as a separate project, as the driving force may apply for funding via the County Council.

Background: Each year, over one million people around the world die as a result of suicide. About 1500 of those are in Sweden. In each case an estimated six kindred?s are to be affected. These people are in great need of support.

Featured adjuvant chemotherapy treatment in women with breast cancer can lead to pain. The aim of this study was to explore, the variety of perceptions and impact of adjuvantchemotherapy-induced pain in daily life, of some women newly diagnosed with breast cancer.Inclusion criteria were participating in an ongoing stress management projectand chemotherapy of (anthracycline/taxan) in doses of 75mg² or more. Exclusioncriteria were inability to understand and communicate in Swedish and mentalillness. After ethical approval of the sub study in September 2010, women wereconsecutively included through oral and written request. Phenomenologicalapproach was used in the eight interviews and data analysis.

In motion ?a traffic program for Nacka is the result of a survey of the traffic system and transportation situation in Nacka and suggests possible development opportunities. A new traffic strategy will be developed in the municipality of Nacka the coming years, which is the reason for this study: to map the current situation, identify strengths and weaknesses, needs and opportunities. This program suggests possible development opportunities and gives an historical overview of the transportation system, the current situation and an analysis of different transportation modes. A mapping of other municipalities? traffic strategies or programs have been done and included into the program as well as a prognosis for the coming years in the municipality.
