Denna uppsats behandlar SVT:s Uppdrag granskning. Vi var intresserade av att titta närmare på detta program eftersom det har en särställning i Sverige som ett av de mest sedda samhällsprogrammen. Vi frågade oss vilken agendasättande roll Uppdrag granskning har i vårt samhälle och hur deras reportage utformas för att få genomslag och nå ut till publiken. Utnyttjar Uppdrag granskning sin särställning på bästa sätt för att informera och upplysa?Våra teorier har alltså mycket att göra med mediers agendasättande funktion.

The 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights is probably the world's most known andinternationally most respected document. The purpose of this study is to examine if the UDHRreflects universal values and norms and to assess its moral and juridical relevance today, 60 yearsafter the adoption. The literature used in this literature-based critical study is mainly written bythe academic elite of the discourse on Human Rights. By comparing these sources I have reachedthe conclusion that the UDHR is still today an important document because of its continuinginfluence on international lawmaking and because of the encouragement and aspirations tomankind in the never-ending struggle for the rights it represents..

This study is a discourse analyse of texts concerning the criminalizing of bestiality andonthological questions around it. This essay has been written as an qualitative analyse of three media texts: Swedish and Danish animal protection laws, interpellation of criminalizing bestiality in Swedish Parliament as well as the discussion forum, "Nordisk Zoofil Forum".The study indicates that bestiality can be understood as inacceptable through discourses about normality, naturalness, moral, sexual pleasure or discourses which comprehend sexual abnormalities as a consequence of each other. On the other side bestiality can be understood as unaccebtable through discourses about sexual needs, sexual identities, love or sexual pleasure. Also the idea about one practising bestiality seems to be gendered as a male person..

The empirical data used for this master thesis, consists of eight manuals with the main purpose to help students evaluate information resources found on the web or Internet. The purpose is to elucidate the discourses and investigate those textual characteristics, which figure in the investigated manuals. The method used is a discursive and linguistic approach, with a power/knowledge discussion applied to the results. The analysis identifies, among other things, the production and consumption of the investigated texts, and that the manuals function as a reflection of the relationship between the participants in the situation, the sociocultural practice of the institution and its identity..

Denna undersökning syftar till att få reda på hur lärarna agerar vid fusk och hur fusket påverkar dem. Fuskhanterning och möjliga förändringar samt förebyggande åtgärder för att motverkar fusk i skolan är också aktuella i denna studie. Svaren fås genom intervjuer med lärarna på en kommunal grundskola och Komvux i Södra Sverige. Undersökningen visar att lärarnas agerande och fuskhantering varierar och att det inte finns någon officiell fuskpolicy på grundskolarna. Många lärare påverkas personligt vid fusk och de är osäkra på sin fuskhantering, men tycker inte fusk är ett stort problem i skolan.

The goal with this project was to achieve real-time synchronized video playback over the Internet, or in other words, that multiple clients play the same part of a video at the same time.The result shows how it is possible to build such a protocol, that gives a user experience that the video is synchronized between computers when playing a locally stored file, stream or video delivered using progressive download. This was achieved by designing, then role playing to find weaknesses, and at last implementing the protocols to see how they work in practice. By using such a protocol, it is possible to navigate and discuss around a video in for example a telephone conference, and be sure that everybody is looking on the same picture..

Examensarbetet behandlar tekniker för sekundär öppning av storskaliga brytningsrum i Boliden Mineral AB:s underjordsgruva i Garpenberg: När längden på brytningsrummen överstiger ett visst värde måste brytningen indelas i två steg: där första halvan av rummets längd bryts och återfylls i första steget, varefter återstående av rummets längd bryts i ett andra steg. I inledningen av brytningens andra steg krävs en fri yta att kunna spränga den kvarvarande malmen mot - dels för att ge plats för berget att svälla i och dels för att fungera som fri yta för de av produktionssalvorna uppkomna stötvågorna att reflekteras mot. Den öppningsspalt som används idag åstadkoms genom borrning och sprängning med relativt tätt hålmönster. Idén till arbetet var att det bör gå att göra både kostnads- och tidsbesparingar genom att använda en alternativ metod till borrning och sprängning vid skapandet av öppningsspalten. Målet med arbetet var därför att hitta en teknik som uppfyller denna idé.

This paper investigates whether there is a right not to suffer from poverty. The investigation is being conducted from the theoretical standpoint/view that only civil and political rights constitute justiciable rights and rights proper from a moral stance, whereas economic and social rights constitute mere political agendas or less.In the search of an answer to this question the content of economic and social rights, and thereafter civil and political rights will be outlined, followed by an inquiry of what should really be considered as rights. Finally, the arguments against economic and social rights as real rights is presented and scrutinized.This paper will conclude that the stated difference between the above-mentioned sets of rights is illusory and that the right not to suffer from poverty ought to have the same status as civil and political rights..

Background: The latest development within the business world has been characterized by deregulation and globalization which has made the company bigger and even more influential. The increased power has resulted in a shift of responsibility for the community from the public to the private sector. (Steinholtz och Löhman, 2003) There have been many trends regarding what accountability includes and how financial accounting can be complimented in a useful and reliable way. Some trends have come to stay whilst others have shown to be less successful or the world has not been ready for them. (Larsson, a, 2002) Purpose: The purpose with this paper is to look at the historical development towards accounting for sustainability and to investigate what factors that might have hade an impact on this development.

Today's planning strategy, densification of cities, makes it difficult for municipal authorities to find spaces to build preschools and daycare centers on. The Planning and Building Act , Chapter 8, § 9 states that " if the site should be developed with buildings that contain one or more dwellings or premises for after-school , preschool, school or other activities, it should be on the property or near it, enough free space which is suitable for play and being outdoors. " Each municipality has to define the expression enough free space and a number of municipalities have established guidelines for preschool and daycare centers concerning dimensions. The guidelines measure the number of square meters of free space per child with the aim of contributing to a qualitative environment. But the size is just one quality and the issue is how other non-quantifiable qualities are taken into account in the planning process. Studien är gjord efter samtal med och efterfrågan från Lunds polis. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka vilken syn ungdomarna i Lund har på polisen och dess arbete. Undersökningens syfte är att få kunskap om ungdomars syn på polisen, mäta ungdomarnas förtroende för polisen samt se om könet har någon betydelse för respondenternas åsikter. Studien syfte är också att ta reda på om ungdomars möte med polisen ger en annan syn. Resultatet på undersökningen är att respondenterna är positiva eller inte har någon åsikt om polisen i Lund.

?Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka insändare till tidningen VeckoRevyns sex- och samlevnadsspalter 1949 ? 2009. Frågeställningen berör vilka ämnen som läsare av tidningen ställer frågor om, hur rådgivarna svarar och hur genusordningen ser ut i rådgivarnas svar. Med utgångspunkt i Yvonne Hirdmans teori om genusordningens två logiker samt genuskontrakt görs en kvalitativ textanalys. Undersökningen visar att det finns ämnen på temat sex, kärlek och relationer (exempelvis otrohet) som återkommer under alla 60 år men att det även finns ämnen som förändras i takt med tiden.

Uppsatsen behandlar åttondeklassares inställning till fusk. Den behandlar även skillnaden i inställning till fusk mellan pojkar och flickor. I vår teoridel definierar vi fusk och redogör för en del av fuskets historia. Vidare tar vi upp etik och moral i vår teoridel och anknyter det i vår slutdiskussion om inställningen till fusk. Vi har använt oss av en enkät där eleverna kunnat garanteras anonymitet.

This essay consists of a heuristic analysis of referents in the Swedish educational act, leaning on the methodological guidelines of discourse analysis. The overall aim of the essay has been to analyse in what way language in the educational act works as guidelines and law in relation to teachers? work. To correspond to this aim an openly structured questionnaire has been used, providing an empirical view of how teachers understand certain words, or referents, in the educational act. This empirical data has then been shaped to a spectrum view of the definitions of the referents showing a number of deductable facts, including the significance of the apparent use of institutional and professional language, which then have been viewed from two theoretical perspectives.
