This paper treats the differences in terms of insurance between optional and compulsory third party liability insurances. It also treats the purpose of the compulsory third party liability insurances and their accordance with that purpose. The primary purpose of the optional third party liability insurance is to ensure the policyholder financial resources to cover possible claims for damages. The primary purpose of the compulsory third party liability insurance is to render possible the compensation of a third party for damage done. The policyholders financial ability to pay damages is of subordinate interest, and the purpose of compulsory third party liability insurances is thus twofold.

As demand for renewable energy is increasing rapidly, the market for biomass pellets is expected to continue to grow in the near future. Most of the new raw materials that are discussed for pellet production have one thing in common; the production costs will increase compared to using traditional raw materials such as sawdust and planer shavings. The aim of this thesis is to investigate to what degree increased use of new raw materials for pellet production will affect the general pellet prices in Sweden and to survey what plans Swedish pellet producers have concerning new raw materials. To investigate the raw material situation of the Swedish pellet producers an industry survey was performed. Literature studies were also made on previous research in the subject field. Calculations of the production costs for pellets were done for the raw materials sawdust, wet sawmill chips and energy wood respectively. New raw materials are already used by the large-scale pellet producers in Sweden.

The economic situation in the Swedish agricultural industry is currently experiencing a development towards larger units. This progress occurs simultaneously as farmers in cooperation more frequently make investments to decrease risk exposure and to improve the financial result. The purpose with this thesis is to study which advantages and problems a group of farmers experience after a common investment in a small-scale seed production. The aim with this investment is to increase the level of vertical integration in their respective agricultural firms and the results will be analyzed from an economic point of view. At present, the farmers are all seed producers with considerable cultivation areas.

The Swedish government has decided that it should be possible to produce 30 TWh from wind power in the year 2020. The Swedish municipalities have to have plans for wind power plants with total yearly generation of 30 TWh. Wind power is an variable energy source that needs to be balanced by other energy sources. In Sweden the Swedish hydropower can be used for balancing a large scale introduction of wind power.

The work as a personal assistant is sometimes associated with certain problems. Studies have shown that personal assistants often experience indistinct rules and roles concerning what should or should not be included in their duties. This study was undertaken to evaluate problems associated with the profession as a personal assistant, how widespread they are and how they are dealt with. Specifically, the study evaluates if the personal assistants have to do duties that they consider they are not assigned to do. Different roles (formal as informal) are also discussed which may be of current interest in this study, but also how we see people on basis of ethics and moral.

We are always surrounded by space, not just only in a room with four walls, but also when we are outdoors.Constantly we move in a flow of space that changes whenever we move. Unaware we are affectedby this threedimensional surrounding of ours, and it reacts with our perception. Many times, we chooseto translate it into something two-dimensional, for example when we take a photo, recording a movie orframing a view with a window. It helps us to catch a moment, a piece of reality and restore it in our ownway. In this project I?ve chosen to explore this process, to interpret and create my own theories about thistranslation from space to a two-dimensional surface.

Durban, South Africa?s third-largest city is a socially segregated post apartheid society, struggling with high unemployment and AIDS. The city becomes even more complex with a changing climate, creating an influx of people to the city, putting scarce resources under further stress. Warwick Junction, an important transport hub in the centre of Durban, holds a large site of informal trading alongside the formal markets. This informal sector generates large financial flows and provides for a rapidly growing population. The aim of this thesis is to develop an approach that is realistic and relevant to planning and design of an urban context in South Africa.

Långvarig smärta är en av de vanligaste orsakerna till sjukskrivning i Sverige. Många olika typer av rehabiliteringsprogram har testats under årens lopp, med både positiva och negativa resultat. Tidigare studier utvärderar ofta rehabiliteringsperioder från en månad upp till flera månader. Det är intressant att se om en kortare rehabiliteringspeiod kan påverka viktiga faktorer som kopplas till långvarig smärta. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om en kort rehabiliteringsperiod kan ge en ökad hälsorelaterad livskvalité, en högre self-efficacy och en lägre rörelserädsla.

Begreppet etisk stress syftar till att beskrivakonflikten som uppstår när en person på grund av organisatoriska hinderupplever sig oförmögen att handla utifrån sin moral. I denna studieundersöks hur tolv primärvårdspsykologer beskriver sina upplevelser avetisk stress, i vilka situationer den uppkommer och hur de hanterar dessa. Urde semi-strukturerade intervjuerna framkom att de tillfrågade upplevde etiskstress i relation till ett flertal olika situationer varav många härrörde frånresursbrist och oklara riktlinjer. En utökad patientgrupp, brist påvidareutbildning, standardiserade interventioner och begränsadebehandlingstider var exempel på orsaker till dess uppkomst. Psykologernahanterade detta genom att bland annat gå emot riktlinjer, föra fram sin åsiktsamt att inta ett öppet förhållningssätt gentemot patienten kring de rådandebegränsningarna..

Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att ta reda på om lärarna känner till vilka regler som gäller vid användande av IT i skolan. För att ta reda på detta har jag använt mig av två metoder och dessa är enkäter och intervjuer. Resultaten visar att nästan alla som deltog i undersökningen har en IT-utbildning, medvetenheten är hög för de etiska regler som råder vid användning av IT i skola. Både det egna intresset som ansvarstagandet för att etiska regler följs är stort. När det kommer till huruvida deltagarna tror att den övriga personalen följer de rådande etiska reglerna tror intervjuobjekten mer på personalen än personalen sinsemellan.

Stabilization of subgrade is an internationally common technique to improve the characteristics of a soft soil. Improving the stiffness and bearing capacity of the subgrade enables the pavement to be designed with reduced depths of subbase and basecourse aggregates. This makes the stabilization technique both economically and environmentally interesting. Both natural and stabilized soils have high inherent property variability that should be considered when the characteristic value is derived. By analyzing the spatial variability in stabilized and natural subgrades it is possible get the parameters needed for reliability?based modeling of soil properties.

I detta arbete undersöker jag hur väl läromedel i religionskunskap för gymnasiets A-kurs är anpassade till kursplanens syften och mål. Genom en kvantitativ undersökning redogör jag för hur mycket utrymme olika böcker ger åt ämnets olika delar. I en kvalitativ textanalys undersöks närmare hur kristendomskapitlen är uppbyggda i olika läromedel och vilka av religionskunskapsämnets dimensioner som får mest utrymme samt på vilket sätt dessa dimensioner presenteras. Läromedlens anpassning till kursplanen diskuteras också med religionslärare i en gruppintervju. Undersökningen visar att dagens läromedel förvisso innehåller alla de delar och dimensioner som kursplanen efterfrågar.

Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats är att undersöka huruvida det för företag verksamma i Sverige föreligger en skillnad i förmedlingen av socialt ansvar genom sina årsredovisningar. Vår referensram bygger på teorier kring CSR och på intressentteorin. Dessa används för att dels förklara företagens relation till samhället men också för att förklara innebörden av vad vår definition av vilka företag som i arbetet ska ses som etiska eller oetiska i sin verksamhet. I vår empiriska sektion återfinns de företag som valts ut för att besvara arbetets problemformulering och syfte.
