Background:Life-cycle costing (LCC) is an investment calculation that takes intoaccount operating costs throughout the investee lifecycle. LCC calculations are mainly usedto evaluate investments that have no revenue side. Attempts to apply the LCC calculations forbuilding-related investments have occurred since the 1980s. Despite the advantages ofusing LCC calculations, use has not passed through in full. The main obstacles have beenidentified as a lack of relevant input data, and insufficient experience of workingwith LCC calculations.

Around the year 2007, several news segments appeared in the Swedish media with focus on the social website Facebook. At the time, an increasing number of people in Sweden started to join the social platform and accepted the terms of contract to get access of the website, without further consideration of what they were agreeing to. This resulted in some private individuals felt violated when it turned out that major points of the contract entail that user?s private information, photos, videos and other publications that was shared on the website, were considered property of Facebook cooperation. Even though this incident made users more aware of what they should, and should not publish on the website, the episode did not result in users closing there accounts on Facebook.

Oavsett om de valda metoderna går att applicera till kursplanens syfte och målbeskrivning så framgår i min undersökning att det finns svårigheter i att tala om hur undervisningen bedrivs inom detta kunskapsområde. De metoder som av bildlärare väljs i undervisningen av bildanalys är svåra att separera från ett vardagligt samtal om bilder. Ruins and derelict places have since long fascinated and attracted humans. With my starting point in the wild vegetation and the spontaneous activities taking place on derelict land and in industrial ruins, I explore with help from the theoretical sociology, what creates not only this fascination but also fear. The purpose of the thesis is to explore and exemplify how the industrial ruin as a place outside the restrictions and control as well as design intentions of modern society can be used as an inspiration in a landscape architecture context.The modern city consists of areas and places with a well defined purpose. I detta examensarbete beskriver jag FMT-metoden och visar på dess möjlighet att bidra till en ökad livskvalité. Uppsatsen redovisar en studie av ett politiskt ärende som behandlats av regeringen 2001 samt av den nyinrättande myndigheten Läkemedelsförmånsnämnden (LFN) 2003 med motstridigt utfall. Frågan i ärendet var huruvida läkemedlet Xenical skulle subventioneras med statliga medel eller inte. Syftet med undersökningen var att beskriva de två beslutsprocesserna för att kunna ge en förklaring till varför regeringen och LFN fattade oförenliga beslut samt att ge en tolkning av vad regeringens inrättande av den nya läkemedelsförmånen har medfört. Undersökningens empiri visar att omständigheter som rådde i regeringens beslutsmiljö gjorde att slumpen fick stor betydelse för beslutsprocessens utveckling. Särkopplande lösningar, problem och deltagare strömmade omkring beslutsfattarna och vid ett tillfälle kopplades ett problem ihop med en lösning i närheten av politiker som stod inför ett beslutstillfälle.
