This report aims to describing the work behind the development of a masonry heater.The masonry heater is developed in collaboration with the company Transient Design KB that is a product development company located in Alingsås. The company sees a possibility to cover a market segment where modern technology and design are missing.The report presents those methods and approaches that have been used and gives an overview to how the project has been carried out. It describes how the ideas behind the final results have produced and how they have been developed during the project's time. I och med att mörkret tränger sig på blir utevistelsen och dagarna allt kortare. Det bidrar till att trädgårdarna finns där ute men de syns inte. För att råda bot på dagens mörka trädgårdar har jag i och med detta arbete gjort en inspirationsstudie. Syftet med studien är att visa hur man kan använda sig av belysning i en trädgård och att inspirera läsaren genom att ge förslag på belysning i två olika trädgårdsmiljöer, en skogstomt samt en modern stadstomt. Jag har studerat litteratur och tagit fram fakta om hur olika delar i en trädgård kan belysas.

This thesis examines the everyday resistance, and its interaction with cultural hybridity, of the Saami population in the administrative unit of Torne lappmark during the period 1639?1732. To do this, the thesis uses theoretical concept of everday resistance as it has been described by JamesC. Scott and the theories of cultural hybridity as they have been described by Peter Burke. Primary source material used in this thesis consists of the court records from Torne lappmark, specifically from the courts at Jukkasjärvi and Enontekis.The results of this thesis present a picture of the everyday resistance in early modern Torne lappmark.

The problems with train-induced vibrations are increasing with heavier and faster trains. Therefore the work with propagating vibrations is of outmost importance, and that is what this thesis relates to.To get a sensible idea of the propagation, calculation models are often used. Propagation calculation models takes into account factors such as distance to the railway, the ground material and the velocity and weight of the train. This work is mainly about finding suitable existing models and, if necessary, adjust them to be more useful with modern trains and railways.The report contains the work of adjusting one such model and does, despite the fully functional adjusted model, describe how much more there can be done within this topic. Vi upplever att det behövs undersökningar som ställer kunden i fokus och studerar de bakomliggande faktorer till hur kunder väljer att dels samla in information inför sitt köp av resa och dels utföra den faktiska bokningen.Syfte: Syftet med vår uppsats är att studera komplexiteten och nyanserna i de tillvägagångssätt som olika typer av resekunder använder sig av vid informationssökning och bokning av resor samt definiera de faktorer som ligger bakom beteendet. The purpose of this master thesis was to explore and develop prototypes for visualization of trade statistics in a market surveilance application. In such an anapplication a large amount of information is processed. This information is then summarized and presented to the market surveillance staff. The practical part of this thesis was done at Scila AB in Stockholm. Three prototypes were developed based on modern visualization methods.

The objective with this essay was to compare the modern epistolary novel Priority by danish author Iselin C. Hermann with the epistolary genre during its heyday in late seventeenth to early nineteenth century. I especially looked at gender: the similarities and differences between the female character in Priority and the female characters during the epistolary novels days of glory. I concluded that Priority has the same structure, characteristics as the heyday epistolary novel and that the female character does not have any typical similarities with its stereotypical female characters. In addition I also came to the conclusion that she is reminiscent to their original model Héloïse and follows the epistolary novels heyday convention when she dies at the end of the novel..
