Denna rapport beskriver mitt examensarbete som har varit ett forskningsprojekt inom materialet näver. Jag har genom min forskning undersökt om det går att introducera näver som en modern industriprodukt och kommit fram till att det är fullt möjligt.Jag har gjort en lång rad tester med nävern för att undersöka dess mångsidighet. Jag har försökt att limma ihop näver med och utan lim. Jag har kokat den, sytt i den, bränt den och destillerat den. Dessutom har jag tagit nävern till Linköping för att göra mekaniska hållbarhetstester och ta reda på vad den tål och inte tål.Slutligen har jag gjort två olika designer där nävern har en central roll i produkternas funktion och formspråk.

Den kreativa melankolikern. Uppsatsens titel sammanfattar det övergripande temat för denna studie. Individer med psykisk skörhet har ofta egenskaper som är förknippade med samhällsnyttiga värden, såsom kreativitet, uppfinnarförmåga och konstnärlighet. Trots det så tycks det som om psykiskt sjuka i det moderna samhället alltjämt kategoriseras och tillskrivs negativa egenskaper som utgör en samhällelig belastning. Vad som sällan eller aldrig uppmärksammas är att psykiskt sjuka personer ofta har långa perioder av friskhet och därmed borde utgöra en samhällelig kraft.

Should new buildings blend in or contrast from the older buildings around? Could contrasts even emphasize different characters? This report is a discussion on that theme. I´ve studied different architects wiev on the question and studied different of examples of where new buildings contrast to the context in a successful way. In part two I´ve done a proposal on a new housing settlement next to Hammarbyhöjden in Stockholm. The new buildings contrast to the existing and the aim is to emphasize the characters in Hammarbyhöjden as well as in the new structure.

De lagar och direktiv som uttrycker penningpolitikens mål vilar ytterst på nationalekonomisk teori och emperi och färgas således av utvecklingen inom disciplinen. Nykeynesianismen utgör den dominerande teoribildningen inom modern makroekonomisk litteratur och går ut på att penningpolitikens övergripande mål bör bestå i att maximera nyttan för ett representativt hushåll. Riksbanken har prisstabilitet som mål, vilket inte alltid är förenligt med nykeynesianismens målfunktion. Det förefaller utifrån detta som intressant att undersöka hur de lagar och direktiv som fastställer den svenska penningpolitikens mål förhåller sig till modern makroekonomisk teori, samt på vilket sätt som Riksbanken tillämpar dessa lagar och direktiv. Mitt syfte är att undersöka huruvida det föreligger anledning att omformulera de lagar och direktiv som uttrycker den svenska penningpolitikens mål, med speciellt avseende på Riksbankslagen.

The purpose of this work is to investigate collaboration between journalists and librarians.These two groups meet in the archives of the modern newspapers.The theoretical part deals with the functions which society has given journalism and the libraries. A comparison is made between the two groups and the author notes resemblance anddifferences.The practical part is an investigation of some journalists at Boras Tidning, a Swedish newspaper. They have answered questions about their usage of the archive which has an educatedlibrarian. As this has not been the case for more than four years, the work of the journalists haschanged in different ways. Advantages and disadvantages are presented..

The purpose of my one year master?s thesis is to add a documentation of a data processing-process of photo- graphs to the administration of archives. The thesis is written from an archival science perspective which is to be seen in my choice of literature, method and questions at issue. To be able to form a documentation of a data processing-process I studied DiBiS, a company specialized in digitalizing old photographs and publish them on a online database. I also added a chapter where I studied how archival institutions used to handle their old photo- graphs in a traditional manner so the reader of this thesis will be able to understand and see the differences be- tween traditional and modern photograph management.

Denna rapport redovisar utvecklingen av grafiskt material som skapades åt Thomasgymnasiet i Strängnäs kommun i ett försök att uppdatera deras image om att dem är en modern skola. Under utvecklingen så skapades det ett flertal olika skisser, en moodboard och slutligen nio flyers och två olika affischer. Jag använde mig av Strängnäs kommuns officiella grafiska profil för att ledsaga utvecklingen, men försökte ändå att introducera nya element som kunde anses som acceptabelt av skolans ledning. Slutresultatet blev godkänt av skolans rektor, däremot så hann dem inte skrivas ut och skickas iväg till potentiella elever..

This essay takes the three models from Allison and Zelikow book Essence of decision and applies them on the Swedish defense system. After the cold war the Swedish defense system had to undergo changes to be a more modern defense and be able to defend Sweden against threats. To also be able to cooperate with other countries in peacekeeping operations the Swedish defense had to be reorganized. The solution was to change direction from a defense system that was organized for invasion to instead be a movable defense ready for any challenge in Sweden or abroad. This reorganization will be analyzed according to the three different models..

Jag har i mitt examensarbete fördjupat mig i 1970-talets mönsterformgivning för textilier, och det samhälle som var då, för att sedan kunna jämföra med 2000-talets nytändning kring denna tid. Fokusen har legat på barnkläder, då det idag produceras mycket 70-talsinspirerande kläder och motiv till just barn. Mitt mål har därefter varit att skapa ett egendesignat tyg, som det sedan, i samarbete med en sömmerska, ska bli barnkläder av. Och jag har velat komma åt den där 70-talskänslan, samtidigt som jag velat att det ska kännas nytt och modernt för 2000-talets tid..

This is a project about learning from an experience, about trying to have fun and not getting overwhelmed and draining your work. The thing that wraps this whole experience together is the making of a book. The purpose of making the book has been to bring two interests together, illustration and graphic design.The content of the book for this graduation project is written by Fredrik MÃ¥rtensson. His poetry tells about the unnatural state of the modern society. I have interpreted the poetry in six abstract illustrations that I made digitally, with the intent to maintain the feeling of something organic.The process of making this book is a lot about learning what it actually takes to finish it, about trying to tell something and a lot about experience practical work..

This study deals with questions about male and female, power and church, related to the Mariologies of three prominent leaders in the Church of Sweden in the last century: Erling Eidem, Paulina Mariadotter and Cristina Grenholm. The mentioned topics are important for conservative High Church people as well as for radical feminists, and they are therefore necessary to address in the context of discussions about the church´s identity and the search of greater unity.Each Mariology is related to contemporary ideas about the relations between male and female, and to the tradition of the church as the leaders themselves see it. During the years 1920-2010 the relations between the sexes changed a lot as a result of the impact of modernity, which also affected how people perceived the relationship between the individual and the tradition/authorities. The present study concludes that there is a connection between Mariology and contemporary ideas about male and female. However, the Mariologist´s attitude to the tradition of the church seems to decide which perspective is allowed to dominate.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur gymnasieskolans yrkesutbildning kan öka samverkan med näringslivet. Jag vill genom undersökningen visa vad som kan göras för att få ökat samarbete inom arbetsplatsförlagd utbildning, kompetensutveckling av yrkeslärare och resursöverföring inifrån näringslivet till gymnasieskolan. Resultatet av studien visar att det finns ett stort intresse och många nya grepp ifrån näringslivet på hur vi kan öka samverkan.       Studien gjordes genom en enkätundersökning som skickades till 16 respondenter som idag har arbetsplatsutbildningskontrakt med skolan. .

The purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting an individual's working life mobility and how this mobility is perceived by the individual. The study has a qualitative approach and the theoretical part is based on Castells', Giddens' and Bauman's theories of modern society and employment in relation to the individual. The study concludes that external circumstances in combination with internal driving forces are the reasons behind changing careers. The process is predominantly perceived as positive, especially education tends to strengthen self-identity. Work in general is regarded as important for a person's identity and new career changes are expected in the future..

När man skapar grafik till spel och speciellt återanvändningsbar grafik finns det en hel del tekniker man bör behärska. I denna rapport beskriver jag dessa och hur de påverkar objektet man jobbar med. Fokus ligger på texturering och allt relaterat till området men jag tar även upp modellering, UV-mappning samt interaktionen mellan dessa tre delar. Jag tar även upp saker man bör tänka på när man skapar objekt som kommer att återanvändas i spelet och kanske till och med kommer synas flera av bredvid varandra..

Försök sätta er in i att man får tillfälle att omvandla sitt sommarställe, där möjligheterna till nyttjande varit begränsade till sommarhalvåret, till ett fritidshus med boendemöjlighet året runt. Tänk att man får byta trånga, ogenomtänkta och halvfärdiga utrymmen till stora luftiga ytor med modern standard, hög komfort och smarta förvaringslösningar. Tänk er att ytorna mer än fördubblas och att du faktiskt kommer att kunna förvara en del saker i det nya huset som du tidigare behövt släpa fram och tillbaka mellan fast bostad och sommarhus.Det är vad sju familjer fått möjlighet till och som kommer att vara en del av det här arbetet..
