Due to the decrease in obtaining driver?s licenses among young people, the main purpose of this study was to acquire a deeper understanding of young people?s attitudes towards driver?s license and towards driver?s education. This is a qualitative study with a theoretical approach, which combines Bourdieu with post modern theories. By using focus groups a wide rage of attitudes among young people have been gathered. Having a driver?s license is still considered a standard among young people even though their attitude mostly depends on their need for one.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate contents in the news in order to search for similarities between the two television news reports, Rapport and Nyheterna. The news features that I examined in my investigation were broadcast in April and May 2006.SVT and TV4 are two Television channels both belonging to the analogue television network in Sweden, which means that they reach out to almost the whole country. Hence I thought it was interesting to investigate their reports on similar news.The question:- Which are the similarities and differences between how the two programmes describe their reporting on similar news?When I put together the information from the two programmes in the schedule I based my analysis on the following questions: topic, place, length, type of reporting and per-sons/sources.The method for this investigation is a quantitative content analysis. However, some part of the collection of information and description/interpretation of the material is qualita-tive.Rapport and Nyheterna had an average of 15 similar news features per week, of which foreign news dominated.

Syftet med arbetet var att vid realiserandet av ett nyskrivet verk för sologitarr, kunna beskriva vilka förändringar som gjorts i förhållande till manuskriptet och vad som motiverat förändringen.I samarbete med kompositören Jörgen Häll har ett verk för sologitarr skapats. Processen inleddes med att jag tagit fram material till Jörgen i syfte att inspirera till komponerandet, utan att uppmuntra till att komponera idiomatiskt. Så snart Jörgen hade komponerat någonting gick vi igenom det tillsammans och jag spelade in det. Den konstnärliga processen började med att Jörgen komponerade ett antal korta utkast med olika karaktär för att få en uppfattning om hur instrumentet svarar till musiken då jag spelar den. Efter det komponerade han det slutgiltiga gitarrverket.Realiserandet av musiken visade sig till stor del handla om att hitta rätt fingersättning utifrån önskad interpretation av verket, snarare än ren omkomponering/tonförändring.Resultatet av arbetet blev musik av Jörgen Häll för gitarr, där jag i uppsatsen presenterat och motiverat de fingersättningar och förändringar vi kommit överens om, samt inspelningar av allt komponerat material..

The interviews contain text, audio clip, pictures and video clip.The website contains modern programming technologies such as HTML5, ASP.NET MVC3, SQL, JavaScript and jQuery.A cover of the technologies used and how the project has been designed and implemented is explained in the dissertation. In the end of the dissertation we discuss about how the result of the project follows the goals we set up in the start phase. When constructing a road the risk of emission of substances from the used materials to the surrounding environment has to be evaluated. The aim of this study is to present a proposal for how to evaluate the risk of contamination as a result of emission from the materials in a road construction. The study is based on literature studies, an inventory and a questionnaire that examines how experts in governmental agencies, industries and universities evaluate the risk of contamination. The inventory indicates that guidelines for evaluating the risk of emission from secondary materials in a road construction do not exist. The conclusions from the questionnaire are: that there is no common way to evaluate the risk of contamination as a result of emission from materials in the road construction, there is no uniform interpretation of the terms "minor" and "significant" risk of contamination and that the evaluation is subjective.

Naturläkemedel är ett område som väcker stort intresse idag och allt fler individer väljer att ta hand om sina åkommor på egen hand. Modern forskning visar på interaktioner mellan naturläkemedel och konventionella läkemedel. Eftersom naturläkemedel under lång tid uteslutande har använts i egenvårdssyfte har patienters användning av dessa produkter skett i stor utsträckning utan medverkan från den vanliga hälso- och sjukvården. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka sjuksköterskors inställning till och kunskaper om naturläkemedel. Studien är av kvalitativ design och är baserad på sex intervjuer med sjuksköterskor verksamma vid två ortopediska vårdavdelningar i Södra Sverige.

There was a wish to develop a modern cabinet which showed remaining time on a display and with energy saving functions.In this report we go through how it is possible to implement a digital controlling system, where remaining time is shown on a display and where it is possible to choose a preset ?program?.The report first presents the fundamental theory for a PIC, where we describe the different registers, how interrupts are handled, the internal clock function and how data is sent to control the different parts of the construction.Next the report presents and describes the new hardware that is needed, such as the encoder, the temperature sensor and the display.After the theory we describe how the program in the PIC may be drafted. The purpose of this study was to examine how social services in Örebro working with young people vulnerable to honor- related violence and oppression. Further the purpose was to investigate recognition of guidelines that could act as support in the work with honor- related violence and oppression, and also however the work with these honor-related cases could have an emotional impact on the social worker. To answer these questions a qualitative study using interviews was performed with four social workers in Örebro. The results have been analyzed and interpreted in relation to previous research conducted in the field of honor research. Further three theoretical perspectives have been used in the interpretation of the results; implementation theory, sociology of emotion and coping.

The physical map that has been used until now can in the modern days be replaced with digital maps available in smart phones and tablets. One disadvantage of both is that the digital maps require the user to have a fully functional sight. The problem with the research done so far is that it provides little explanation as to why developers have decided to design the maps in a specific way. This thesis has been designed to address this problem.In order to provide the knowledge needed, a literature study was done to construct interview questions to an employee from SG Access AB. These answers and the literature study were used to construct interview questions to members and employees from Synskadades Riksförbund  (SRF).

The main objective of this study is to divide a number of colorectal cancer cases into subgroups based on their molecular features using cluster analysis. The data used is supplied by a research group at Pathology, the Department of Medical Biosciences, Umeå University, and consists, after some preparation, of 455 observations which is a larger data set than many similar studies. The molecular variables that the clustering is based on are CIMP (CpG Island Methylator Phenotype), MSI (Micro Satellite Instability), BRAF- and KRAS-mutations. These are categorical variables and consequently the clustering method used is PAM (Partitioning Around Medoids) which is particularly useful with data on diverse variable level. The final analysis results in four subgroups that are represented by different combinations of attributes on the aforementioned variables.

Our study aims to examine whether managers in elderly care are working from a salutogenic approach to create a dignified life for the residents. By this we are trying to find out how you look at life in dignity and what meaning it has, what similarities and what differences there are. We also want to explore what they want to achieve with their work and what they do to enable it. The questions we asked ourselves what the salutogenic approach is for managers working in nursing homes. How do they look at a decent life and we ask ourselves the question of the salutogenic approach is just a "buzzword" in a working man always had or there are real differences? The method we have chosen to use is a web-based questionnaire that we sent to our sample.

Uppsatsen problemformulering; Vad är den samlade bilden av det aktuella läget hos den ryska luftmakten avseende, materielsystem, förmåga och vilja att nyttja denna förmåga samt hur ser det doktrinära ramverket ut som ska styra dessa system och förmågor? syftar till; att knyta samman de forskningar om Ryssland som genomförts avseende å ena sidan materiel, förmåga och vilja med å andra sidan den konceptuella utvecklingen för luftmakten, dvs. teori- och doktrinutvecklingen och därigenom ge en samlad bild av den moderna ryska luftmakten och hur de har uppträtt, vilka lärdomar de har dragit fram till år 2012 samt hur de planerar att utveckla denna de kommande åren.Den ryska luftmakten har sedan början av 2000-talet utvecklats från att endast ha varit ett understödjande verktyg för markarenan till att mer vara en modern fristående del som kan leverera högteknologisk last över en stor yta. Erfarenheterna från kriget i Georgien 2008 är enligt analysen den största faktorn som gjorde utvecklingen och reformeringen till ett måste.Uppsatsen har med induktiv textanalys analyserat nuvarande och kommande förmåga hos den ryska luftmakten och resultatet har påvisat en möjlig utveckling till ett självständigt Flygvapen med förmåga att genomföra allt det som ett jämförbart Flygvapen i väst har förmåga att göra.Uppsatsen har även gjort en ansats att undersöka förekomsten av en rysk modern luftmaktsdoktrin samt luftmaktsteori i syfte att utröna bedömt uppträdande. Efter att ha studerat ett antal internationella luftmaktsteoretiker samt ryska dokument rörande luftmakten har analysen inte kunnat finna någon vare sig någon officiell rysk luftmaktsdoktrin eller luftmaktsteori men däremot finns tydliga tecken på att Ryssland har influerats av västs uppträdande från första Gulfkriget och framåt.Om reformeringen innefattar även utvecklande av en specifik luftmaktsdoktrin och specifika luftmaktsteorier kommer Ryssland även ha en konceptuell förmåga som gör att de kan dra nytta av denna kvalitativa och kvantitativ kapacitet vilket de enligt analysen inte kan idag till 100%.Slutligen har uppsatsen också undersökt den ryska viljan att utveckla och använda den ryska luftmakten och slutsatserna av detta är att viljan är stark uttryckt i ord och i handling men mycket beroende av det finansiella läget..
