Lyxmarknaden i världen har ökat, detta trotts den ekonomiska oron. Vårt intressefångades då vi observerat varumärken i Sverige vilka har en prestige känsla men vioch massan ändock har råd att köpa produkterna. Silverstein och Fiske (2003)definierar fenomenet som Masstige. Masstige är en sammansättning av orden prestigeoch massa, alltså prestige som massan kan ha råd med. Syftet med undersökningen äratt undersöka om masstigevarumärken i Sverige använder sig av klassiskamarknadsföringsstrategier som finns för lyxigavarumärken.

Smycken har en relation till en bärare och bäraren har en relation till sina smycken. Som skapare av smycken har man en relation till både smycken och bärare. En unik och viktig roll.Berättelser eller anekdoter som människor berättar, bisarra fakta som man snubblar över titt som tätt, små noveller. Detta är något som attraherar mig starkt. När jag gör smycken tycker jag om att kunna berätta en historia om det smycket.

Background:IT development has in recent decades been fast progressing. In Sweden many schools have begun to invest in IT and new technologies. What happens at the schools that are investing in IT equipment and modern technology?Purpose:The purpose of this study is to elucidate the conditions for and the success factors and barriers that principals and teachers will experience in IT. Principals' experiences are complemented and mirrored against the teachers.

SAMMANDRAGDenna rapport är en del i ett examensarbete på byggingenjörsutbildningen vid Chalmers Tekniska Högskola. Som komplement till rapporten finns ritningar på idéförslag samt ett program som beskriver byggnadens nutida utformning samt kraven på en ombyggnad.I denna rapport utreder vi möjligheterna att bygga om den befintliga järnvägsstationen i Mellerud till ett modernt resecentrum, på uppdrag av Melleruds kommun. Rapporten behandlar flera olika grundläggande lösningarav utformningen. Med dessa som utgångspunkt utformas sedan de olika delarna i den bästa av de grundläggande lösningarna. Målet med rapporten är att utforma ett resecentrum som tillgodoser resenärernas behov.

Since 1820 there has been a continuous discussion about the contents of history courses and the current debate considering this school subject is no exception; it is as vital as ever. Both in educational policy and public debate the role of history as a school subject has been brought up for discussion.In this study the writer has chosen to study the politically independent interest organization HLF. The organization is a non profit association, which works for the consolidation of history in Swedish schools.The purpose of this study is to investigate how the organization HLF has received and met the ongoing debate on this issue. The writer has chosen to examine the strategies the organization has used in order to influence this school subject and if they have succeeded in doing this.To carry out this study the writer has made use of HLF´s annuals as well as Aktuellt om historia, which is a publication that the organization issues three or four times a year. The conclusion of this study is that HLF has little influence when it comes to the formulation of the education of history.

The purpose of this master's thesis is to describe and analyse the origin and development of the libraries in the town of Värnamo, between the years 1908 and 1960, when a new modern public library was inaugurated. The method I have used is, to a great extent, examining and analysing source material from the archive of the municipality in Värnamo and the popular movement in Jönköping. As a background to my study I describe the development of the Swedish society, from the end of the nineteenth-, until the middle of the twentieth century. I also describe the local development of Värnamo, during the same period. Furthermore I also give a general description of the progress of the libraries in Sweden during the same time.

This master thesis takes its point of departure in the conflicting worldviews of modernism and post-modernism. As traditional segmentation theory springs from the modernist worldview, this study aims to contribute to the understanding of the complexity regarding market segmentation for lifestyle brands in contemporary society, where the consumer is often claimed to be post-modern. The research was conducted in Malmö and Lund and involved 25 Converse users as respondents. The methods used in this thesis starts with observations as a sampling technique in order to locate the respondents. Short interviews and photo documentation followed.

We would like to gain a more in depth knowledge of whether the modern orientations both within corporate governance and control philosophy lay the foundation for enterprises? more sustainable success. These both modern orientations are increasingly focusing on the importance of enterprises? setting of goals and visions on the basis of stake holders? interests and the employees? more active engagement in and motivation for the goal achievement. Despite these common inherent characteristics, it is not evident from current scientific debate how such integration actually emerges in the control philosophies of the enterprises.

Individ och samhälle, Lärarutbildningen 60 poäng, Malmö Högskola, 2006.SyfteSyftet med följande arbete är att undersöka hur läroboken hanterar den industriella revolutionen samt även hur lärarna förhåller sig till läroboken. MetodArbetet utgår från Geoffrey Partingtons teori om historisk signifikans och testar den tillsammans med en klassisk bakgrund-händelse-förlopp modell på läroböckernas redogörelse för den industriella revolutionen. En kvantitativ enkätstudier bland gymnasielärare i historia A gjordes för att fånga deras bild av industriella revolutionen och läroböckernas behandling av den. ResultatDe tre undersökta böckerna uppvisar en splittrad behandling av den industriella revolutionen.

This essay deals with how the development of society, the media society in particular, has an impact on the teaching of the subject of art. In the society of today, we are bombarded with more images than ever before. As an effect of this, the curriculum of 2011 emphasises the importance of the ability to orientate oneself in the modern society. Furthermore, it describes art not only as a practical subject, but also as a verbal and community-orientated subject. Because of sparse and dated research, the subject of art is in danger of marginalization as a school subject. The purpose of this study is to illustrate art teachers? conception of the aim of the subject of art.

Föreliggande uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur ämnesinnehåll om miljöproblem och hållbar utveckling i läroböcker ämnade för geografiundervisning förhåller sig till miljöetiska ideologier. Uppsatsens metod utgår från en ideologianalys med hjälp av idealtyper av miljöetiska ideologier. Ideologianalysen utgår ifrån att undersöka läroböckernas texter om miljöproblem och hållbar utveckling utifrån kategorierna natursyn, relation mellan människa och natur samt vad som beskrivs vara moraliskt signifikant och relatera detta till idealtyper av miljöetiska ideologier. Sammanlagt har fyra läroböcker ämnade för undervisning i den nationella kursen geografi 1 analyserats.Resultatet av läroboksanalysen visar att samtliga läroböcker främst ger uttryck för en senmodern antropocentrism och i lägre grad inslag av uttryck för ekocentrism. Uttryck för biocentrism har endast återfunnits i ett textstycke i en av läroböckerna.

Laura Mulvey was the first to suggest that women and men have different positions on the screen; men drives the plot forward, and the women are objects of masculine desire and lust.The purpose of this report was to look at and compare the two characters from the 70?s - and 80's with two characters from the 00?s - and 2010?s to gain a deeper understanding and insight into how female action heroes are presented. This will be done with the help of the questions; How is the female action heroes that are analyzed in the paper?What are the differences and similarities between the past and the present-day action heroes? Just how stereotypical are the women in their genre? The four female action heroes that were analyzed were; Princess Leia Star Wars, Sarah Connor Terminator and Lisbeth Salander Men Who Hates Women and Katniss Everdeen The Hunger Games.The four female action heroes were analyzed based on Rikke Schubarts categories (Moderarketypen, Amazon, Dotterarketypen, Ha?mnerskan and Dominatrix), the character's personal development, the character's violence and the reason for the character's.Characters from the past were more often presented as more uncertain and fragile than the modern confident characters. The female action heroes of modern times was more independent, strong, and in no need of a man in comparison with contemporary female action heroes.

Syftet med mitt arbete är att undersöka på vilket sätt det är möjligt att arbeta över de gamla gränserna mellan teoretiska och praktiska ämnen. Jag har valt att inrikta mig på Historia och Hem- och konsumentkunskap. Frågeställningarna som ligger som grund för arbetet är: På vilka sätt är ett samarbete mellan historia och hemkunskap möjligt? Finns det stöd i kursplaner och läroböcker för ett sådant samarbete? Är det viktigt att samarbeta över gränserna på detta sätt? Om det är viktigt, varför i så fall? Har hem- och konsumentkunskap i sig ett historiskt perspektiv? För att uppnå mitt syfte har jag använt mig av intervjuer, skriftliga källor och analyser av kursplaner och läromedel. Mina teoretiska ramar handlar om ämnesövergripande arbetssätt och historiskt perspektiv.

Vi hör ofta att vi har kommit långt i jämställdhetsfrågan i Sverige och på många punkter har vi det också. Men på andra kan man tro att vi fortfarande lever kvar i 1800-talet. Ett exempel är de svenska teaterscenerna. En stor del av pjäserna som spelas på de statliga scenerna runt om i landet är klassiker, pjäser skrivna i början av 1900-talet och innan. Och rollerna blir därefter.

The objective of this essay has been to show how the image of the Soviet Union in ?Alla tiders historia? differs in the 1989 and 2004 editions of the book. To explain these differences I have used a discourse analytic perspective, mainly inspired by Michel Foucault and his philosophical theories of the constructions of objects, and also Faircloughs critical discourse analysis inspired by Gramsci.In this paper the two editions of ?Alla tiders historia? are presented with quotes which are then analysed from using my theoretical framework. In the 1989 edition three themes emerged: continuity, undecidability and ambivalence, which together present an image of a Soviet Union which is not clearly defined within the political discourse.In the 2004 edition this struggle over the discourse has been settled and the Soviet Union?s position as a dictatorship has been determined, at the same time as the Soviet Union is put in a negative relationship with Czar Russia and is connected with Nazi Germany.
