Today a lot of goods is transported on wood pallets because it?s practical and enabels a fast way to load cargo. The drawbacks with pallets are that they weight a lot, are big and are relatively expensive. Therefore IKEA has developed plastic lists that can replace the europallet in some applications. In this examwork an automatic handling equipment for plastic lists are design from a requirement specification to a finished machine.

This project has created a web-application for the service technicians at the paper plant Gruvön. The project was outsourced to the IT-company Sogeti.The application visualizes information about reparation-work of the equipment at the paper plant. The displayed information is work-orders, the status of the work-orders and errors. It is also possible to see the costs and hours spent on reparation-work.. The work-orders and related information is stored in a relational database.The application is created mainly for web-browsers in mobile-phones and tablets.
True Passion : En studie om varumärket Kosta Bodas profil och image
The purpose of this essay is to increase the understanding of how the management´s core values reflect the brand´s profile and image. To be able to fulfill that purpose, we used three problem statements that questioned how consumers, retailers and the employees of the company Kosta Boda perceived the brand. To accomplish this, we used a qualitative method. We started collecting theories about the topics: brand, image and profile that gave us a good foundation to build our qualitative interviews on and to increase the understanding for the topics. To collect imperical data, we interviewed consumers, retailers and employees at Kosta Boda both by email, phone and face-to-face interviews.

The purpose of this article is to, from our ideal type, study similarities and differences regarding the corporate governance of the consumers? and the producers? co-operative movement. The motive behind our choice of alignment is that the mechanisms of corporate governance often are described from the perspective of the joint-stock company, making it valuable and interesting to study these mechanisms from the co-operative point of view.

Den här studien syftar till att undersöka vad det är i en persons ansökningshandlingar som är attraktivt för en arbetsgivare samt vad som skiljer dessa åt från dem som inte blir kallade till en anställningsintervju.Undersökningen genomfördes genom ett tillfällighets urval där tio personer med kunskap inom området intervjuades. Data transkriberades sedan från ljudfilerna och en tematisering skedde därefter av det utskrivna materialet.Resultatet av undersökningen blev att den sökande allra först måste uppfylla de grundläggande krav som ställs på tjänsten men därutöver är det en subjektiv bedömning som sker. Utifrån ansökningshandlingarna, och eventuella telefonsamtal, skapar rekryterarna sig en bild av personen vilket sedan ligger till grund för urvalet..

This examination project is carried out for Waséns Traffic School in Linköping. The task was to develop a completely new windows application and a webpage that connects to the same MySQL database. The windows application (ATSV) is a program intended to carry out all the administrative tasks that a clerk at a traffic school may need: pupil management, reservations, billing and register functions. The applications was developed in C++ using Visual C++ from Microsoft. The connection to the MySQL database was made possible by using the class package MySQL++.
Vilka konsekvenser har Lex Uggla för fåmansbolag och deras ägare?: -En studie av 50 företag i Stockholm
This thesis analyzes the consequences of ?Lex Uggla? ? a law concerning the boundaries between firm and individual with respect to wealth taxation ? for small businesses, with more than 3 million SEK in over-liquidity. There are two main findings of this thesis. Firstly, the wealth taxation of non-operational assets seems to be an inefficient tax which costs the Swedish welfare system much more than it generates. Secondly, the change in actions among entrepreneurs following the extensive news coverage following the tax authority?s charges against the company of the well-known artist, Magnus Uggla (hence ?Lex Uggla?) illustrates that neither changes of rules nor new applications of rules is necessarily sufficient for an agent to change course of action.

This project investigated the current market regarding wireless net and the communication between the tools used for diagnostics/maintenance and an embedded system. Based on documentation obtained through interviews a demo system was created based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between an embedded system and an Android device.This report intends to describe the tools and methods used in the design of the demo system and the result of an analysis of the BLE communication.Bluetooth Low Energy is an exciting protocol with wide applicability within the industrial field. The objective of this project was to develop an application for mobile phones using the Android operating system. The main goal was, with the help of GPS, to pinpoint locations, measure distance traveled and illustrate the progress on a map. Functionalities for just showing the map, fetching addresses and saving to a database was also implemented. The result of the work was a proper application, called MeasureApp, that fulfills the goals set in the planning stages of the project. MeasureApp can be used to measure distances where accuracy is not a main factor, i.e walks or runs.

Problemet studien ställdes inför var att försöka lösa hur man med hjälp av gamification kan skapa ett användbart mobilt gränssnitt som visualiserar elförbrukning. Fallstudien har resulterat i ett förslag på hur man kan visualisera elförbrukning i mobila gränssnitt och med inslag av gamification. Resultatet har arbetats fram med hjälp av metodiken användarcentrerad design där användningstester och iterationer har utförts för att erhålla värdefull information från användare om hur de vill att en sådan här applikation ska se ut och fungera. Resultatet har sedan presenterats och analyserats utifrån den modell som togs fram från teorin. In the field of IT-forensics you may often get to analyze different types of digital devices. One ofthese devices is the GPS navigation system. Nowadays GPS technology is getting more and morepopular and is included more frequently in different types of devices. With this article we want topresent the differenent obstacles and possibilites that a forensic investigator is presented with in thistype of investigation. We will be comparing different software suites and make use of forensic toolssuch as EnCase.The reader should get some understanding of the methods there are for analyzing one of these devicesand what problems that may occur in the investigation process.The article presents how the investigator can use different methods to gain information such as recentroutes, favourite destinations and other information that may be stored on the device.

This is a thesis report from SLU in Skinnskatteberg, the Swedish university of agricultural sciences. This study is an evaluation of a course in attitudes and behavior for participants of the ETT- project led by Skogforsk, the forestry research institute of Sweden. They do research for the benefit of Swedish forestry. The ETT-project is a project where there are both 74 tons ST-trucks and 90 tons ETT-trucks in test on the public roads. This study is concentrated on the ST-trucks and their drivers, company owners and logistics managers.
The evaluation is done by interviews with the various participants.

This thesis deals with the problems you face as a new game developer for the mobile platform Android when developing a 3D game and presents solutions to these problems. It also explores which optimizations should be made to increase performance and how well suited for game development the Android platform is. A simple 3D game for version 2.2 of Android was developed to examine this. The conclusion was that a good game structure for Android separates logic and rendering by running these separately in different threads. Solutions to rendering and updating of game logic were presented and optimizations were implemented for performance, although fewer optimizations were needed than was anticipated.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how the two Swedish municipalities, Sigtuna and Nyköping, work with marketing. The study has primarily focused on how these two municipalities worked, consciously or non-consciously, with lifestyle marketing and place marketing. The research-questions that this essay wants to answer are;What is lifestyle marketing and place marketing?Do municipalities use these types of marketing, and who is this marketing directed to?How and why does municipalities use lifestyle marketing and place marketing?To answer these questions, phone interviews were conducted with several important employees within the two municipalities. The results of this study show that the different municipalities have both been using lifestyle marketing, but on different levels, in Sigtuna, it was a strategic choice, whereas in Nyköping, it evolved by itself and was not a conscious choice.
En utvärdering av programmet Voddlers användbarhet
The purpose of this essey is through empirical methods investigate usability factors on Video On Demand applications for the Internet. More specificly we will focus on a application called Voddler. The purpose is to identify usability problems that exist in Voddler, and present the reader with suggestions on possible solutions. This could be used as guidelines to how to design for usability in this kind of system. We will use an online survey to investigate Voddler usability and use this data as a basis for our analysis.
