RFID-avläsning med mobiltelefon
MobileReader är en mobil RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) applikation. Syftet med denna applikation är att skapa en RFID-läsare som skall gå att bära med sig ute på fältet. I första hand kommer läsaren att kunna läsa passiva RFID-taggar på Lågfrekvens-bandet (LF) samt att vara anpassad för nyare mobiltelefoner av tillverkaren Sony Ericsson. Detta examensarbete resulterade i ett program avsett för en Atmel ATmega16 mikroprocessor. Mikroprocessorn tar emot data från en befintlig LF-läsare via ett protokoll vid namn Wiegand 44.

The aim of this essay is to examine how parents to children with large undiagnosed behaviour problems experience the parent role and the support they can obtain in their role as parents.To get a deeper description of the parent?s situation a qualitative method is used for the study. The interview carried out through a personal meeting and a question schedule with opened questions where used.The answers of the interview show that parents experience lot of problems. The children don?t get the support in school that the parent think they need because the child don?t have diagnose.
Matbudgetapplikation
Flera nya tjänster som Mina utgifter och Smartbudget vittnar om ett tilltagande intresse bland konsumenter att planera sin ekonomi. Matvaror utgör en stor del av det genomsnittliga hushållets budget och är därmed en kostnadspost som kan göra stor skillnad i hushållets ekonomi.Detta examensarbete ska undersöka möjligheten att jämföra matvarors pris på olika affärer med hjälp av en Android-applikation och genom att fotografera texten på kvitton. Texten kommer sen processas och sorteras för att få ut nödvändig data som sen kan sparas undan i en databas. Färdiga Algoritmer och OCR-motorer har utvärderats och implementerats i applikationen direkt genom så kallade C-Bibliotek. Dessa gör det möjligt att utan större problem vidareutveckla applikationen för iOS eller Windows Phone.Projektet och Android-applikationen visar på möjligheterna att använda färdiga C-bibliotek samt telefoners kamera för att enkelt sålla ut och spara undan den informationen som är relevant för konsumentens del..
Energivinst vid hybridisering av hydrauliskt system
Today's high oil prices and more stringent environmental requirements have led to that manufacturers of mobile construction equipment try to make their products more energy efficient. With this in mind a project about hybridization of hydraulic systems has been formed. The purpose of this project was to analyze the savings that can be achieved by hybridization of hydraulic systems. A reach stacker truck (Kalmar DRD450-80S4XS) were simulated in some load cases with conventional hydraulic systems and with three types of hybridized hydraulic systems. Different parts of the hydraulic systems were also analyzed separately.
Vidareutveckling av AppCMS
I denna uppsats kommer vi dokumentera vidareutvecklingen av Softwerk AB?s Content Management System kallat AppCMS. I dagsläget innefattar AppCMS plattformarna iOS, Android och Windows Phone. Kunderna till Softwerk AB har dock uttryckt ett behov av att även kunna nå ut till sina användare med en webbaserad samt en utskrivningsbar lösning. AppCMS?s exportformat har därför analyserats för att undersöka möjligheten till att återanvända det existerande exportformatet från AppCMS även för dessa plattformarna.
Upplevda barriärer för clean technology-företag - Fallstudier om kommersialisering av produkter på en internationell marknad för solenergi
Overall aim of this master?s thesis is to describe and identify perceived barriers in Swedish businesses within solar energy field and analyze, based on four theoretical viewpoints, how these barriers can be handled. In other words how can the barriers be overcome or eliminated to better succeed in the commercialization process? The method applied is qualitative in which data has been collected through phone interviews originated from seven Cleantech businesses which operate within solar energy. Furthermore this thesis has a descriptive- and an explorative purpose.
Digitala objekt i neutralt format
Today there are many different Cad-applications on the market for engineers. Because of big building projects it has become more and more important to work with the same application or to have access to a neutral file type to be able to transfer files between different ones.This report studies the single objects and how they react when transferring them between ADT and ArchiCAD via the neutral type IFC. We have also been looking at problems during the transfer between and if there are some connections between these problems. Afterwards we created a neutral object model of a small country house to see if the objects appeared different. The result shows no differences.But looking at the problems that appeared during the transmissions they felt small and no logical.Today it is not possible to save in a neutral type without facing small problems.

The purpose of this library is to make it easier to develop a cash register that uses payment terminals from TechPay.This paper also covers different communication protocols, encryption techniques and recommendations from authorities, banks and Android. En jämförelse mellan ljus baserat i naturalism och pictorialism : En studie om ljussättning i spel
In this study, we investigate various lighting applications in a virtual environment, where we compare between light based in naturalism (natural light) and pictorialism (artistic light). The purpose of this study is to gain further knowledge in lighting, which is increasingly important for game graphics. Theory are examined to gather information and recommendations on how to use various light settings that convey different emotions. We then use this information to illuminate the environment that we have built. The environment is presented in Unreal 4 for respondents who are allowed to move around freely in the environment.
Möjligheter att minska kväveutlakningen genom att anpassa kvävegödslingen till variationer inom stråsädesfält
Due to excess precipitation that cause runoff, all soils in Sweden naturally leaches nitrogen.High leaching from arable land is an environmental problem when the runoff reacheswaters. In the international agreement, Baltic Sea Action Plan, the aim is to reduce therunoff of nutrients. Sweden has agreed to reduce its load of e.g. nitrogen to the Baltic Sea.One of the proposed measures is an increased use of site-specific N-fertilization, which hasbeen shown to increase nitrogen use efficiency and therefore also reduce the nitrogen runoff.Either yields are increased with the same total amount of nitrogen, or the total quantityof nitrogen is reduced with preserved yield levels, which is profitable for the farmers.The dynamics of nitrogen leaching differs between top dressing applications above orbelow the economical optimum. There is a consensus about a difference in the dynamics,but not about its magnitude.
Jämförelse av VO2 mätningar inom- och utomhus : på roddergometer med portabla utrustningen Oxycon Mobile
Syfte och frågeställningFöreliggande studies syfte var att jämföra den mobila syreupptagningsutrustningen Oxycon Mobile [OM] vid rodd på roddergometer vid mätningar inomhus och utomhus. Frågeställningen var om OM visar jämförbara värden mellan inomhus- och utomhusmätning vid standardiserad arbetsform. MetodSju manliga roddare från nationell och internationell elit rodde vid två tillfällen 4x4 minuter med stegrande belastning (+30 W) på submaximal (SMx) belastning följt av 4 minuter maximal belastning (Mx) på roddmaskinen Concept 2 modell D. Testtillfället inomhus genomfördes i välventilerad lokal och utomhus genomfördes testet under tak med tre öppna väggar med temperatur 20,5 ± 0,9 respektive 15,3 ± 1,9° C och luftfuktighet 50,2 ± 7,5 respektive 61,0 ± 8,5 %. För att mer likna rodd utomhus på vattnet simulerade en fläkt den fartvind som uppstår vid rodd på vattnet. Syreupptagning (VO2), respiratorisk kvot (RER), ventilation (VE), hjärtfrekvens, takt och skattad ansträngning i ben och andning på Borg skala (RPE) mättes.
Säker integration av mobila enheter i SharePoint-miljö
Med anledning av den snabbt växande populariteten för mobila enheter såsom iPad/iPhone, Android och Windows Phone 7 öppnas nya möjligheter för affärsverksamheten. Ett exempel är mobil åtkomst till Microsoft SharePoint, en webbplattform som erbjuder en bred uppsättning verktyg för bland annat dokumenthantering och projektsamarbete. Den här studien har utvärderat ett antal lösningar för att tillgängliggöra SharePoint på mobila enheter. Utvärderingen har fokuserat på de två huvudaspekterna användarvänlighet och säkerhet, eftersom studien utfördes på ett företag med omfattande hantering av sekretessbelagda filer. Lösningarna i studien har delvis testats via mobila enheter och delvis endast undersökts genom dokumentation på grund av brist på möjlighet till driftsättning av de mer avancerade lösningarna.

This thesis describes the development ofa linear guidance system suited for NORCAN's aluminium profiles. The work took place at LP Innovation, a small technical consulting company, located in Uppsala. The work started with gathering and searching for information. A lot of the information was found in product catalogs, but my supervisor was also a great source of knowledge, as well as the other engineers at the company. I also had the opportunity to work with the rea lprofiles, to get a feeling and greater understanding how they were supposed to be used. With the use of sketching and CAD, a number of concepts were generated.
Testing and optimization of Unicorn Fluid-Structure Interaction solver for simulating an industrial problem
In industry applications, such as power supply plants, the issue of interaction between fluid and structure is always presented. More precisely, the fluid flow affects the structure by applying force(s) on it and vice versa. As a result, the structure can move (vibrate) or deform. A good understanding of this problem can help to design the system in term of safety, stability and efficiency.This project aims to optimize and test the Unicorn FSI solver from the FEniCS project [1] to simulate the interaction of fluid and structure in an experiment, which was carried out at Vattenfall Research and Development. The target is to improve the Unicorn FSI solver to cope with a real industrial problem.

The purpose of this thesis is to compare if a charter company's attitude and vision of service can be reconciled with the attitudes and visions that the customers have in the same area. In order to carry out the study a qualitative approach is used. The data has been collected by interviews, focus groups and observations. The framework is theories on the subject of customer satisfaction, quality of service at customer meetings, Self-Service technologies, quality assurance and gap in service.The study has concluded that the approach to service is relatively equal between the company and customers, but the future visions differ. Focus group participants have been thinking bigger and further into the future, while the company focuses more on specific functions.
