Frågan om verkligheten och dess beskaffenhet har länge orsakat stor förbryllning hos människan, vilken historiskt sett har försökt förklarats på olika sätt. Inte minst genom olika slags gudaläror. Idag lever vi helt annorlunda än vad vi gjorde för exempelvis 1000 år sedan. Det är inte längre gudar som är den dominerande verkligheten ? det är IT-tekniken.

What impact does the Swedish society have on the practice of Islam? That is the main topic of this thesis.As a result of migration, the distinction between a specific region and a culture or religion has been mixed. Islam is not just part of the Middle East but is more and more institutionalized in the Western, and the Swedish society. Sweden, which is one on the most secular countries in the world, has developed into a country where the view on religion have been privatized. Religion can be practiced, but not in public.

Tidigare forskning har visat att kvinnor uppsöker professionell hjälp oftare än män, detta sägs bero på att kvinnor har lättare att erkänna sig själva som svaga. Syftet var att undersöka om det fanns någon skillnad i hur män och kvinnor bedömde en kollegas arbetsrelaterade stress samt om kollegans kön påverkade bedömningen. Ett urval på 108 yrkesarbetande män och kvinnor från två sektorer valdes ut, deltagarna läste tre vinjetter om en stressad man eller kvinna vars hälsa gradvis försämras på grund av ökad arbetsbelastning. En flervägs mixed ANOVA gjordes med bedömningen av målpersonens arbetsbörda, ohälsa och hjälpbehov som beroendevariabler. Resultaten visade att män uppfattade en kvinnlig kollegas ohälsa och hjälpbehov som större än en manlig kollegas.

This paper is a study of female liminal developments in a selection of Grimm's fairy tales using van Gennep?s and Lincoln?s theoretical bases. An inductive technique has been used to analyze the results according to the theoretical agendas. To my help I have used Swedish translations of the Grimms? fairy tales from 1883, 1946, 2003 and 2007.The study shows that the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales display the transition rituals identified by Van Gennep and Lincoln.

The purpose of this paper is to make an analysis of the urban Roman water system. I have chosen to work with the system as a general field, not as a case study of a single town. In my opinion such a study would not give a proper and fair view of the subject. Therefore, this paper will discuss the different parts of the system, each one for itself and name examples wherever possible, to give a wide survey of the reality of the Roman water supply system. The aim is to give the reader a clear picture of different solutions used in the time of the early Roman Empire and a good understanding of the subject..

The purpose of this paper is to analyse how work by Swedish artist Ylva Ogland (born in 1974) function as an eye-opener for the social marginalisation of people identified with homosexuality, prostitution and drug addiction. Although highly present in reality, these phenomena were historically, and are still today, hidden from view in public discourse. I have focused on the installations Rapture and Silence and Things Seen, and the still-life painting called Xenia. I argue that these artworks carefully represent the above-mentioned marginalised groups, by way of references to comparable motives in the history of art, from neoclassicism in France, to realism and romanticism..

This thesis investigates young people's (16-21) preferences in reading through a surveyincluding interviews and questionnaires. The groups attitudes towards reading and libraries,their reading and library habits, and to what extent eight libraries had bought the preferredliterature were also examined.Some reports from the 80's were used to find the changes. The result shows that youngstersread and visit libraries somewhat more frequently. Trivial literature is not as dominant, moreteenage-books were read. Popular themes are love, history, reality, fantasy/sf, and detectivestories.

The aim of this study was to examine how children in the age of 5 are communicating in play at the preschool and how their fantasy games are different from each other. In this study, I have gained a greater insight on how to control children's imagination games.My approach has been the observation of three fun times where I also used me out of a voice recorder to record children's voices when their children are communicating with each other during the time of play at the preschool.The results of my study showed that children's fantasy games based on children's past experiences in which children use different themes and characters. The children's communication activities are different from each other. Children have different themes but the deck is based on imagination and communication.Fantasy games that children perform is rooted in the experiences that children get through to experience and see the reality.

Our purpose with this research is to highlight that there is a scope for increased value creation in the experience room during concerts, and how value-enhancing strategies can be a competitive advantage for different venues. In our investigation of this we have worded the following research question: How is the perceived customer value affected during a concert in the experience room and its physical environment? With the background in this question we have identified three key concepts that we believe are the influence of the total concert experience which are; sensory experiences, interaction and identity. From these concepts we have drafted a number of propositions to test the reality by our empirical data collection. .

Bakgrund: De patienter som insjuknat i stroke löper stor risk att drabbas av sekundär depression, vilket kan leda till högre mortalitet. Syfte: Syftet är att belysa situationen med fokus på indikationer och symtom hos patienter som har drabbats av sekundär depression efter stroke i Europa. Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie med en analys inspirerad av innehållsanalys. Analysen av 10 kvantitativa, en kvalitativ och en mixed-method artikel utgör underlag för resultatet. Resultat: Följande kategorier arbetades fram: kroppslig svaghet, könsskillnader, tidsaspekt och känslor.

This paper addresses the need to review the modern presentation of textile archaeology in museums. It is time to look at textiles in archaeology with new eyes. The reality behind archaeological textilestudy is holistic, embracing many different aspects of society. The presentation of textiles has in my opinion become old-fashioned. I will show in my paper that Jonathan Adams? `seven constraints´ model, developed for research on ancient ships, can also be applied to textile research.

Arbetet gick ut på att skapa designförslag på informationsstöd för infanterisoldater. För att åstadkomma detta samlades data in genom observation och intervjuer på militärövningsområdet Kvarn i Östergötland. Utifrån det insamlade materialet framställdes en kravlista som i sin tur låg till grund till designprocessen.Tre designförslag framställdes varav ett var på en handleds- eller vapenmonterad display, till största del riktad åt gruppchefer, och de övriga två förslagen huvudmonterade, dessa tänkta att kunna användas av alla soldater i fält. Fokus låg på att på ett så enkelt sätt som möjligt ge tillräcklig information om omgivningen och övriga gruppmedlemmars position för att öka soldatens situationsmedvetenhet och minska belastningen på arbetsminnet..

The aim of this work is to define the party structure of Feministic Initiative (FI). We want to examine the structure of an organization that doesn?t start out with a hierarchical order. We further intend to examine the party?s leadership; whether or not it is equal, between the three spokespersons.We find it interesting as a topic from a democratic point of view as well as to see if a flat structure could work in practice.

Hjärttransplantation är idag en av de effektivaste behandlingarna vid hjärtsvikt. Hjärtat är för många en symbol för själen och personligheten. Att förlora sitt hjärta och ta emot ett nytt kan resultera i blandade känslor. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa patientens känslor efter en hjärttransplantation. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie som grundade sig i Polit och Becks (2012) niostegsmodell.
