Sedan ett antal år tillbaka väljer allt fler att bo i innerstaden med små barn. Det har skapat ett enormt behov av nya förskoleplatser. Den vanligaste lösningen har blivit paviljonger med tillfälligt bygglov där antalet moduler monteras efter behov.  Med denna flexibla möjlighet tycks dock barackerna ha kommit för att stanna och blir oftast något helt annat än den provisoriska lösning de en gång var ämnade för. Ett annat problem som förskolan står inför är att maten inte tillagas på plats utan körs ut från storkök och levereras i värmeslådor. Det fungerar förvisso men den pedagogiska poängen går om intet. Syftet med projektet har varit att rita ett dagis i Stockholms innerstad som med samutnyttjade funktioner ger ett flexibelt förslag. Till förskolan hör ett restaurangkök som också serverar en restaurang, öppen för allmänheten.

Aquatic organisms are usually not exposed to single substances but rather to mixtures of toxicants in streams located in agricultural areas. The transport of pesticides used in the agricultural area in Sweden is monitored with continuous environmental supervision every year. During 2002-2008 an average of 10 pesticides were found in each sample and 40% of the samples contained substances with concentrations higher than the Water Quality Standards. Chemical risk management is normally based on single-test evaluations. A problem when assessing mixture toxicities is that the constituents and concentrations of pollutants in the environment vary greatly.

Produktionen och distributionen av fjärrvärme i Luleå kommun sköts av två företag, LuleKraft AB och Luleå Energi AB. Under 2011 utökades samarbetet företagen emellan, med bland annat gemensam driftspersonal. Detta ger förutsättning för ett mer anpassat och optimerat produktionssätt. Med detta som bakgrund skapades en modell över fjärrvärmenätet och tillhörande anläggningar, för att kunna skapa riktilinjer för effektiv produktion vid olika driftförhållanden. Viktiga komponenter för systemet är? Lulekraft - ett kraftvärmeverk vilket eldar processgaser från SSAB och olja för att producera fjärrvärme och el? Fjärrvärmenätet - 42 mil långa ledningar förser i princip hela Luleå kommun med fjärrvärme? Hetvattencentraler - när LuleKraft inte räcker till för att täcka fjärrvärmebehovet finns möjligheten att använda dessa där bränslet är processgaser, olja, pellets eller elFjärrvärmenätet och hetvattencentralerna ägs av Luleå Energi AB men hela systemets drift sköts av personal på LuleKraft.

The purpose of this study was to examine young women?s perception and fear of sexual assault. An additional aim was to analyze the women?s view on guilt and responsibility in rape related questions. Two focus group interviews were executed with undergraduate women aged 22-32 years.

IT-utvecklingen i skolan har gått framåt mycket under det sena 90-talet. Detta har medfört att man på senare tid fört upp till diskussion att vi nu behöver föra in ytterligare en kompetens bland lärare och elever, nämligen IT-kompetens. Vi såg det därmed som intressant att undersöka vad rektorer på olika skolor anser att IT-kompetens är för något, för att jämföra detta med vad de nationella måldo-kument, övriga politiska dokument och olika IT-projekt menar att IT-kompetens är.Uppsatsen är av en kvalitativ karaktär och består dels av en litteraturstudie och dels en undersökning i form av åtta stycken intervjuer.Vår referensram bygger på politiska dokument och nationella måldokument som skriver något kring IT-kompetens i skolan. Vi har även tittat på två stora IT-projekt inom skolan, nämligen ITiS (IT i Skolan) och KK (Kunskaps- och Kompetensutveckling), för att se vad dessa skriver om IT-kompetens i skolan.IT-kompetens är ett begrepp som har diskuterats mycket på sistone. I intervjuerna framkom det att rektorerna, sinsemellan, inte alltid hade samma tolkningar gällandes vad begreppet innebar.

In 1513 the Florentine humanists Niccolò Machiavelli composed one of the most famous, but also ambiguously interpret, work in the history of politics, Il Principe. Machiavelli´s book The Prince revealed the true nature of politics in Italy in the beginning of the sixteenth century and gives very straightforward advice on how to act to become a successful and powerful political being. Machiavelli´s creation and insights in the reality of politics have be much discredited and condemned in its lack of moral consideration and violent nature. Still it has been read under the centuries with a fascination and eager to understand the structure of power and how to master it. My purpose with this study is to apply this Machiavellian idea of the capable prince on to the earlier research of the Swedish duke Karl, later on King Karl IX.

Utveckling av ett köpcentrum är ett komplext system som involverar många aktörer såsom kommunen, fastighetsägaren, investerare, långivare, konsulter, analytiker, arkitekter, detaljister och givetvis även slutkonsumenten så att visionen om att vara den ledande bland köpcentrum hierarkin realiseras.Det tillkommer nya handelsytor i relation till befolkningsunderlaget i Stockholms län där konkurrensen, kundernas krav och e-handeln ständigt ökar. Detta kommer i sin tur sätta press på ledningen för att fastställa nya tydliga strategier för framtida visioner. Vid utvecklingen av ett köpcentrum har extern rådgivning tagits och därmed ett investeringsförslag har föreslagits. Vilka faktorer som har tagits med i beslutsunderlaget är det väsentligaste.Utgångpunkten med denna studie var att belysa hur ett köpcentrum behåller sin kommersiella kvalitet och därmed möta den framtida konkurrensen bättre. En Jämförelseanalys av två valda objekt i Stockholms län har fullgjorts för att belysa närmare framgångsrika nyckelfaktorer såsom läge, tillgänglighet och koncept.

Since the release of Avatar in 2009, the 3D movie industry has experienced an apparent growth. Almost all blockbuster movies are being released in 3D at the cinema, but the 3D format has been met with mixed opinions by the consumers. Some argue that 3D is the future, while others believe that the 2D format is enough for an appreciated movie experience. Through a qualitative survey, twenty participants with 3DTV in their homes answered questions regarding their experience of 3D movies and what improvements they desire. We suggest that 3D film creates immersion, realism and effects that 2D films can´t handle.

Distributed system development is a common occurrence in today?s technological and global world. Because the consequences of its geographically distributed nature it creates barriers between people that affects their communication and collaboration efforts in the distributed context. Despite a lot of technological breakthroughs over the last decades and the occurrence of video-conference applications and other tools for communication and collaboration, cultural and geographical issues have so far not yet been completely resolved. In this study I have made a literature study over distributed system development to form a set of central factors that affects the distributed development process.

This thesis has the purpose that through a text analysis examine how four schoolbooks for high school treats the religions Judaism and Hinduism. The schoolbooks are from the years 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2009. The perspectives are from a religious viewing point, that means that the women are religious, Jewish feminists and Hindu feminists. The theories used are written by these women and are academic litterature.  The questions are how are women represented in the schoolbooks, is the feminist critique present or are the two religions represented and described in an invariable way, and is the description of Judaism and Hinduism consistent with the curriculum?The text analysis used in this examination means that reality is organized through and by the language used by the actors in that reality.

Scholarly research on comical popular theatre is rare in the Swedish context even though the genre has attracted large audiences throughout the 20th century. Nils Poppe is one of the greatest Swedish actors in the comical genre and he is famous for his playful acting style. With my Master?s dissertation I aim to shed some light on both the genre and this great actor. Another aim of this Master?s dissertation is to gain understanding of what causes the audience?s laughter experiencing Nils Poppe?s comical acting.

Often places for children and youth are planned how adults think children and adolescents want them, but we are often wrong. As a result, we find empty playgrounds while our target groups are building dens in the bushes, hanging around shopping areas, and so on. This report is an attempt to create a place for young people based on the opinions of their needs and their environment to better understand how to design a place that suits them well. To gain knowledge about how it is to be young in Simrishamn, a small township in the southwest of Sweden, I interviewed children and young adolescents. The interviews were all carried out in groups, mostly in larger groups inside where the result differed a lot depending on the settings for the interview. Two walkabouts with groups of three children were also made. Most of the children were eager to participate and tell about their reality, but some preferred not to.

The study aimed to highlight workplace meetings´ benefit and what level of development. The study was done at a school in Lidköping and included two qualitative observations. Most of the groups´ members were women; one man was included in each group, and there was a mixed age structure of the meeting participants. The collection of data was then paired with the scientific literature and scientific articles. .. Our results demonstrate that group 1 spend 59% of the time on information and 41% of communication.

ABSTRACTChlamydia and Chlamydophila are species of a family of bacteria (Chlamydiaceae) that cause a range of diseases, including conjunctivitis, in a variety of animals including pigs and humans. Some species cause zoonotic disease. This study examined the occurrence of Chlamydiaceae in samples taken from the lower eyelid conjunctiva in pigs with and without conjunctivitis. The study was initiated based on a herd investigation aimed to examine the experienced increase of conjunctivitis in some finisher herds. This study was conducted as a case-control study, by collecting samples from 62 case pigs (16-26 weeks old) and an equal number of controls, from three herds in Uppland, Sweden.
