As background for this study stands the debate and discussion in the society around the tablet as a pedagogical tool in preschool. The purpose of this study is to obtain and analyze 69 preschool teachers? opinions about the tablet?s introduction and use in preschool. The study also investigates the preschool teachers? opinions about their mission for multimedia and technology in the preschool curriculum, Lpfö 98, reviderad 2010.

Using the models from van Maanen and Schein (1977) and Dutton et al. (1994), we have been able to investigate the socialization process and organizational identification both from the organizational as well as the individual?s perspective. The link between these two perspectives establishes a better insight into the company?s actual socialization intentions and the individual?s identification with the firm.

The empirical data that lies behind this survey comes from field work between 1992 and 1995. This field work represents work I made myself as a sales-man for the company, Malmberg Original Water. The task was to implement the Malmberg mineral water brand on the restaurant market of the South-Swedish area. Our aim was to reach the upper-scale, premium market of restaurants. The mission was successfully completed, and at 1996 we had completed the position as the most exclusively positioned mineral water brand in Skåne (Southernmost Sweden).

Playboy is a magazine that, for more than a half century, has been mostly known to the wider audience for its stylized pictures of naked women. What a lot of people do not know is that the magazine, with its editor in chief Hugh Hefner in the lead, has been frontrunners in human rights. Playboy has been fighting protecting the right of freedom of speech, fighting for equal rights for all people during the civil rights movement and supported the feminist movement by funding precedent cases on abortion rights. According to a series of text analyses by Beggan & Allison (2000, 2002b) Playboy?s editorial direction contradicted conventional definitions of masculinity. Also, the magazine portrayed its Playmates with complex identities that, in many cases, contained a number of traditionally masculine abilities.In this thesis we have done a critical discourse analysis of the Playboy interview and how the gender of its subject is portrayed by the magazine.

Studien avhandlar ett brittiskt kompani under mission i Afghanistan och hur deras operationer står sig i förhållande till David Kilcullens twenty-eight articles. Förbandet hade som uppgift att söka stridskontakt med motståndaren inom ett kompaniområde i syfte att isolera striderna och möjliggöra uppbyggnadsprojekt i Sangin provinsen i Afghanistan. Slutsatserna är att kompaniet uppträdde mer som ett reguljärt skyttekompani och hade inte någon tydlig counterinsurgency metodik i enlighet med Kilcullens teori..

Kompaniledningen har uppträtt som förmyndare för hela förbandet och har ej lämnat ansvar till helt vuxna soldater som alltså inte är grundutbildnings-ungdomar. Försvarsmaktens nya personalförsörjningssystem innebär att förbanden kommer att bestå av anställda soldater och den erfarenhet som Försvarsmakten har av anställda soldater är från de som befunnit sig på internationell tjänstgöring. Ett framgångsrikt ledarskap under internationell tjänstgöring torde därför kunna verka som en inriktning för hur ledarskapet skulle kunna vara i den nya Försvarsmakten.Denna uppsats söker svar på hur en chef som uppskattas av anställda soldater kan vara, om utvecklande ledarskap är aktuell som modell och om uppdragstaktik är en metod att leda anställda soldater med. Slutsatserna är att soldater uppskattar ledaregenskaper som ärlig, rättvis, förebild, engagerad och lyhörd.

The manufacturing industry is currently in a short-term downturn while the competition is increasing. The result of this is that companies must find new ways to bring out their products. Traditional competitive strategies, such as low pricing, is not sufficient today as the customer is inquiring something more than just a good product. Higher demands are presented on an accurate, well functional, communication between customer and companies, as this has become an important strategic factor in achieving long-term profitability.The aim of this independent project was to analyze and evaluate the communication process between a company and its sales companies.In order to illustrate this process, a case study was carried out at Alfa Laval, their sales companies and employees at their distribution center in Tumba. In order to see the differences in attitudes between the management, the sales companies and the employees regarding communication and involvement a gap analysis were used.The theoretical part of the study considers theories about business mission, communication, involvement, quality and creating value.The result showed that a smaller gap exists between the sales companies and the management while a slightly larger one exists between the employees and the management.

The market communication in organisations is vital to manage the competition. Studies have shown the importance of market communication in both private and public organisations.Since the past decade market communication has been acknowledged as an instrument to provide the organisations target group with valid information.This thesis is a study about the differences in market communication between private and public organisations. To manage this we asked ourselves the question:?- What distinguish the market communication in a private respective a public organisation??We have done qualitative interviews to get the best result for our study. We have interviewed both types of organisations and our respondents have leading strategic position in their organisations.Our research highlights important differences between private and public organisations in matter of tactics in market communication.In conclusion the result shows a great difference in how an organization is managing their communicative strategies all depending on if it is a private owned company or a public organisation..

The amounts of theories that deal with naval warfare are many. Several of those are developed under the previous century when tactics and technology were in the eve of development. Many of modern thinkers within science of war often refer to older but recognized theories. The purpose of this essay is to examine if the old but recognized theories are of current interest in modern naval warfare. The questions that are used in this essay are, what is the characteristics of the war of Yom Kippur with Mahan?s offensive and Corbett?s defensive as a starting-point and are there any of the theories that are prominent.

This essay is a comparative research between pupils' experience of how the headmaster, teachers and other school staff interpret and apply the democratic education. The results are based on a survey carried out in senior high school, as well as interviews with the school staff. The democratic education charge has a long history of Swedish school system and is the basis for the maintenance of a democratic society. Both policy paper of state investigations and researchers in the field, regard to school as the primary and unique instance in order to promote and develop democratic skills in children and young people. However, it is shown that those who come out from school lack of knowledge and awareness of democracy and the will to speak their mind.

Syftet med det här projektet är att komma fram till en ny lösning som ska underlätta för användare att få en bättre överblick av sitt klädbestånd samt att få användaren att ifrågasätta sitt klädbestånd. Få att nå resultatet har jag gjort användartester inom min målgrupp, intervjuat formgivare i branschen och arbetar med undersökande formarbete. Resultatet blev en flexibel herrbetjänt med ett feminimt formspråk som passar lika bra i det lilla hemmet som i den stora villan och kan följa användaren under en lång tid. .

Varje förändring i läget, som kan åstadkommas genom fortsatta krigshandlingar måste alltså leda till något än ogynnsammare. Med denna sanning tar många teorier och doktriner sina avstamp. För att lyckas med att försätta vår motståndare i ett ogynnsamt läge gäller det att föra striden och att göra det snabbare än motståndaren.
