Därför är det intressant att undersöka och jämföra hur de två städernas kulturpolitik har sett ut under de senaste decennierna. Vilka idéer är det som har varit tongivande inom kulturpolitiken och på vilket sätt har dessa påverkat hur kulturpolitiken i respektive stad ser ut som den gör idag?.

This paper is about teachers ?attitudes towards their pupils, both today and in the past. It describes various events with Adam, Elsa and Kajsa which I have observed at my preschool. Via a retrospective analysis I have attempted to understand how teachers ?views of their pupils has changed from the beginning of the century to the present day.

The purpose of this essay is to test for significance between TED- spread and four different macrovariables, housing prices, Federal funds rate, Asset Backes Securities and mortgage volume. Multiple regression has been used to search for significance between the dependent and the four independent variables. Our data consist of quarterly reports from January 1998 to June 2008. Our conclusion is that all of the four variables show a significant relation with TED- spread. The model explains 76 percent of the variation in TED- spread..

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the legal practice of valuation in arbitration board proceedings concerning freeze-outs after non-cash take-over bids. We find that the most important method for valuing the shares offered in exchange for the shares of a target company is to take the volume-weighted average of the quoted prices of the shares offered in exchange during the acceptance period of the take-over bid. This thesis is a complement to previous studies by Peter Jennergren (1996) and by Andrea Lundqvist and Victor Ludvigsson (2007) of how the Balken case (a freeze-out case that was eventually decided by the Supreme Court of Sweden, in 1996) has affected the legal practice of valuation in freeze-out arbitration board proceedings. We have undertaken an empirical study of 48 freeze-outs between 1985 and 2006 where shares in the bidding companies were offered in exchange for shares in the target companies.

This case study is an attempt to give empirical support to Georgio Agambens theory, regarding how the exceptions from the constitutional order should be regarded as a constant element in modern societies. The purpose was to investigate if Agambens theory is valid in the Swedish context. The exception, as definied by Agamben, is a reappearing phenomenon, which implies that the constitutional order is fragile. Individuals and groups are transferred into ?homo sacers?, meaning people that is to be regarded as legally naked, and offset from the rest of society.What then is it that make the legal norms fragile? Mitt syfte med denna studie är att undersöka gymnasieskolans förhållningssätt till hedersrelaterat våld. Mina frågeställningar baserar sig på om och vilken policy gymnasieskolor i Uppsala har för att förebygga och hantera hedersrelaterat våld. Anledningen till att jag koncentrerat min studie till gymnasieskolan beror på att förbuden och trycket på dessa ungdomar, speciellt på flickor, ökar och hårdnar då de når gymnasialålder. Min intervjustudie har baserats på intervjuer av rektorer och annan personal i gymnasieskolorna som var insatta i detta område. De centrala frågorna jag söker svar på är:1)      Vad har de olika skolorna för policy för att förebygga hedersrelaterat våld?2)      Vad säger skolornas handlingsplan om hedersrelaterat våld?I dagens Sverige är hedersvåldet en verklighet och behovet att arbeta mot detta problem är av stor vikt.

Research regarding the maintenance of the Sami language shows that the Swedish society has a big influence on the development of the Sami identity and also the maintenance of the Sami language. The assimilation of the Sami language and the traditional Sami religion was forced mainly by the Swedish education form and the Swedish church. In modern times many different forms of Sami identities have been developed due to the scattering of the Sami people, and also because of the urbanization of the Swedish society. The Sami nature religion is still alive in the Sami group, thanks to the mythological stories told and preserved by their oral  tradition. The purpose of this assignment was to make research of how the Sami identity is being presented in three current Swedish books.
