This thesis investigates how Ericsson AB should do to achieve fast and secure handover when roaming in a WLAN. It also provides a security analysis of the system that the wireless access point is part of. The reason for this is that Ericsson is selling an access point called the ABS 2200 aimed at the public hotspot market. The premise was that they wanted a standardized way of handling the roaming issue. At the outset the 802.11F standard looked like a good alternative (in fact the only standardized alternative).

Tidigare har målteorier, föräldrastöd och karriärutveckling studerats men hur upplever unga vuxna sin anställningsbarhet i relation till sitt sociala arv från föräldrarna? Detta är studiens syfte att undersöka. Intervjuer genomfördes med 15 deltagare från två klasser på en gymnasiefriskola. En kvalitativ innehållsanalys för kategorisering och tematisering utfördes. Det uppkom tre teman: handling, medvetet betydelsefullt och teoretiskt betydelsefullt.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att ge läsaren en djupare inblick i reformen det fria skolvalet som trädde i kraft i början av 1990-talet i Sverige. Med uppsatsen skapas en kännedom för läsaren i hur reformen gick i kraft samt hur den i efterhand kan problematiseras utifrån forskning samt intervjuer med viktiga personer inom skolväsendet. Metoden som har använts i uppsatsen är en kvalitativ metod där individer subjektivt valts ut för semistrukturerade intervjuer. Intervjuerna har sedan transkriberats och ställts i förhållande till Max Webers teori om värderationella handlande, status och klass samt Pierre Bourdieus teori om habitus, klassreproduktion och kapital. Studien visar på marginella konsekvenser av det fria skolvalet i den kommun där den är gjord, dock finns möjliga tendenser till att ett fritt skolval kommer att påverka mer i framtiden..

The purpose of our study is to get more knowledge about how moral dilemmas affect social workers in their work. This because we find that a big part of social work involves ethic reflections and that is why we find it important for social workers to have knowledge about how they should and can think and act in these situations. Ethic statements exist for social workers to use in their work but we haven?t found any guidelines for concrete situations and that?s why we decided to study this area. Questions we want to answer are how do the social workers define moral dilemmas in social work? How do the social workers deal with moral dilemmas in their work? How do moral dilemmas affect social workers in their work? This is a qualitative study with interviews from seven social workers from one social service office although they are from different units.

At this point seamen have a lot of tasks of administrative character, beyond the traditional tasks aboard a ship. Due to the new conventions that are formed by IMO, more requirements are added which often lead to time consuming administrative tasks and documentation that should be spent on activities which are contributing to the ships safety. The issue has been observed by IMO that has through BIMCO done a study with the aim to identify and reduce administrative burdens at sea.The primary aim of this study is to find out if safety officers aboard Swedish ferries consider that SOLAS Chapter III, 8.3 och 19.5 regulations are administrative burdens, restricted to muster lists and documentation of training aboard the ship.The secondary questions to the study are if it is possible to remove, combine or change the documents and how much time can be saved by doing this. The question about timesaving could not be answered, because the values were scattered and could not be used for further investigation. The observed values were accumulated by a survey and the result indicated that safety officers did not experience the two regulations as administrative burdens.

Det politiska engagemanget i det civila samhället har under de senaste årtiondena genomgått en förändringsprocess i sitt uttryckssätt. Främst genom ett minskat intresse för det klassiska partipolitiska engagemanget, som istället har utvecklats mot ett individuellt och livsstilsanpassat sätt att påverka, förändra och agera i det civila samhället. Detta är en utveckling som tydligt kan illustreras av ungdomar och deras dominerande och växande engagemang i en ny typ av sociala rörelser i det civila samhället. Dessa sociala rörelser innehar en global karaktär och dess arbete präglas av olika typer av aktionsformer för att få fram just sitt budskap till de parlamentariska politikerna gällande krav på snabb politisk handling inom just deras intresseområde.Det som fångade mitt intresse var att försöka få en bild av ungdomarnas attityder och åsikter kring denna politiska förändringsprocess. Syftet med denna uppsats är således att undersöka ungdomars attityder och åsikter gällande detta individualiserade och livsstilsanpassade sätt att påverka i samhället och engagera sig ?politiskt? genom så kallade nya sociala rörelser.Utgångspunkten för studien är en deduktiv ansats i form av att studiens framställda empiriska material prövas mot en allmänteoretisk bakgrund bestående av de betydelsefulla teoretiska idéerna inom det berörda fältet med fokus på samhällsteoretikerna Anthony Giddens, Ulrich Becks, Alberto Melucci och Håkan Thörn.Det empiriska materialet i studien bygger på en genomförd kvantitativ enkätundersökning av gymnasieungdomar, för att genom detta resultat kunna utröna ungdomars attityder och åsikter gällande det individualiserade och livsstilsanpassade sättet att påverka i samhället och engagera sig politiskt genom så kallade nya sociala rörelser.Generellt pekar studiens resultat på att ungdomarnas attityd till stora delar kan anses vara förenlig med ett individualiserat och livsstilsanpassat sätt att påverka politiskt i samhället, genom att ungdomarna anser att individens vardagliga handlingar, att inneha en åsikt och visa handlingskraft, är politiskt viktigt för individen själv.

Information handling has been a key issue for different companies for a long time. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is used to transfer different business documents from one company to another. This is done in such way that the information itself is separated from how this information is stored and handled in the companies internal systems. As different companies have different systems there is a need for a standardised format for this exchange. There is a big difference between EDI-systems based on what kind of EDI-standard is used. The most common standard in Europe is EDIFACT, but with increased interest of using the Internet for business communication there is a need for a standard that is adjusted for use over the Internet.
