Vattenfall AB is a large producer of electric energy where approximately half of the energy comes from hydropower. Vattenfall Hydropower has got almost a 100-year old history and the company has developed a lot since 1909. After that the number of power plants increased and the competition got more intense, there were higher demands on the reliability. One way to secure the reliability with a good satisfaction at the power plants is to implement a maintenance method named Reliability-Centred Maintenance. Syftet med undersökningen är att genom en jämförande modellstudie ta fram ett eller flera sätt att nedkämpa en motståndare utrustad med tungt reaktivt pansar. Reaktivt pansar har tidigare endast använts för att hindra RSV-strålar att penetrera pansar. Men teknikutvecklingen har nu medfört att dagens reaktiva pansar utöver skydd mot RSV-strålar också klarar av att reducera pilprojektilens förmåga till penetration. Beslutsfattande är den viktigaste av alla ledningsaktiviteter. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur befälhavare upplever beslutprocesserna ombord och i den omgivande organisationen. Undersökningen har gjorts genom intervjuer med tre befälhavare. Intervjuer valdes för att kunna lyssna till intervjupersonernas upplevda värld och de har varit semistrukturerade, som stöd har en intervjuguide använts. Det går i den här formen att följa trådar eller infall men också att gå tillbaka och förtydliga.

The purpose of my study is to examine whether the need for competence development in the communicative leadership exists among the six school leaders at the current adult education unit in Malmö. By observing the communication between the parties I hoped to get the following questions answered: What are the preconditions for the school leaders, in their daily communication with the staff, for getting the staff to feel noticed and confirmed? In what ways do the school leaders communicate with their staff to motivate them to development? I also wanted to highlight the school leaders' awareness of their own communication skills. The theories and models I have used are Haberma?s theory of the communicative action, Spitzberg and Cupach?s relational competence model and Engquist?s theory of level of abstractions.

The aim of this thesis is to use Gabriel Tardes theories concerning imitation, repetition and the public opinion as a way of understanding how transmedial communication develops over time. This involves a study of social media, traditional press and public organizations in relation to each other. The campaign, What are you doing? (Vad håller du på med?, 2013), launched by the Swedish military as a way of drafting more soldiers, is used as an example of how the theories can be applied to help us understand connections, patterns and social behavior in the rapid mutation and viral spreading of information. By discussing the campaign and its effects, the ambition is to give an understanding of how a campaign of this scale could be planned for and structured.

I denna uppsats undersöker jag hur musikproducenter ser på sitt samarbete med musiker/artister under en musikproduktion. Metoden för undersökningen är en kvalitativ intervjustudie där tre etablerade svenska musikproducenter intervjuas. Resultaten visar att musikproducenterna lägger stor vikt vid sitt samarbete med artister. Några utav slutsatserna är att musikproducentyrket idag i Sverige handlar mycket om att kunna fatta beslut och agera som en musikalisk vägledare.A recording session - A study about music producers' way to look at their cooperation with artists during recording sessions. In this paper I will investigate how music producers look at their work with musicians/artists during a recording session.

The aim for my thesis has been to investigate how literature, or fiction, is used in management education. What books are used ? is there a literary leadership canon? What do the educators and the writers on this subject suggest that these books can teach the leaders? What are the philosophical foundations of this education? And ? last but not least ? does what the educators and writers offer respond to the needs of the businesses? My investigation shows that there is a canon in the area of management and fiction, where realistic 19th century novels, alongside with Shakespeare?s plays are dominant. Female writers and non-western writers are very underrepresented. The positive outcomes of reading and discussing these literary works that the educators and writers suggest do substantially correspond with the needs of the businesses, as presented by my sources.

Today, the catering personnel are an essential part of the safety organization on board Swedish passenger vessels in ferry services. Their responsibilities for the safety on board have increased in connection with the changes in regulations made on the shipping industry. These changes have been mostly related to human factors and structural leadership in the last 25 years.A well-functioning safety organization requires competence and commitment from every individual. Previous researches on Swedish passenger ferries concerning the safety organization have raised issues regarding the catering personnel?s perception of the safety on board.

The result describes that several obstacles were experienced in the use of the systematic quality system. ConclusionBased on the descriptions the respondents gives of the implementation process of the systematic quality management of Halmstad municipality home care management, the conclusion can be drawn that the implementation process has not resulted in the employees making use of systematic quality management in practice. The systematic quality management system that will ensure the quality of the care work is thus used to a limited extent..
