SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrundMed ökad migration följer en befolkning med språkliga variationer. I det vardagliga livet kan en individs kunskaper i svenska vara tillräckliga men när en individ blir patient och hamnar i en sjukvårdssituation kan språkliga eller kommunikativa hinder uppstå. Det beror på att förmågan att behärska ett språk är situationsberoende. Kommunikation sker i många olika former, i centrum står överföring av information mellan avsändare och mottagare. När informationsöverföringen sker i båda riktningarna och informationen som förmedlas bekräftas av de som är inblandade sker kommunikationen på ett säkert sätt.

Den här rapporten grundar sig i problematiken med att kombinera TCP/IPv4 ochTCP/IPv6 med varandra. De två protokollen är inte kompatibla att skicka paket mellansig och bara delar av internet använder sig av, eller har stöd för, det nyare protokolletIPv6. På grund av att de publika IPv4-adresserna är slut i världen så måsteförr eller senare en fullständig migrering ske på internet. Fram till dess behövs dockmigreringsmetoder som kan hantera både de äldre och de nyare TCP/IP-protokolletsimultant.I rapporten kommer olika migreringsmetoder plockas fram där fokus ligger påkomplexitet, alltså tidsåtgång för implementering. Metoderna som presenteras utgören laboration där testpersoner har fått utföra simulerade migreringar med de olikateknikerna för att få fram tidsdata.

Sweden was transformed to a democratic industrial society in the late 19th century. Political influence had been bound to the four estates, nobles, clergy, burghers and farmers. The reforms of the 1860s moved Sweden towards political democracy with universal suffrage. At the national level a two-chamber parliament was established in 1866. Political power should now be a function of economic status.

 AbstractThis study is performed by studying seven livestock businesses in the agricultural sector. The focus of the essay has been put on the structures that limit and enable the lives of the farmers in this study. One of these major structures that affect everyday life is the gender structure and to this day the housewife role exists where the women are responsible for the home, family and domestic pets while the men are responsible for the production, machinery and the heavier tasks on the farm. This is grounded in the history and the development that agriculture has gone through, but also in the strong patriarchal power structure that exists in this industry. In this essay I also show how the life form analysis of Liselotte Jakobsen and the independent life form can not be fully applied to the farmer as he is not completely independent in his work.

Most of the portable electronic devices use a battery as a primary power source. Nowadays, when the applications are becoming smaller and smaller and more power efficient, the designer needs to concentrate more on reducing power consumption, using secondary power sources and introducing power storage devices. Multiple power source availability and a power storage device on the board will make the applications much more useful and efficient in everyday use. This thesis proposes a power supply unit (PSU) for wireless sensor platforms which is capable of supplying a sensor node with energy from multiple sources, as well as status information from the PSU. Present power storage devices, like electric double-layer capacitors (EDLCs) and batteries, have become more and more common as their characteristics have developed.

Background: According to the Swedish Social Board induced abortions are increasing in the modern day society. Nurses who work with in the gynecological department can come across patients seeking care for an induced abortion.Theoretical framework: The findings of the study will be discussed in relation to Peplau's nursing theory, ethical concepts and nursing concepts.Aim: The aim of the literature review was to illuminate the experiences of nurses working with induced abortion.Method: A systematic literature review with an inductive approach was chosen. The findings are based on seven qualitative and two quantitative studies. The articles were assessed through two different modified templates based on qualitative or quantitative design.Findings: Nurses and midwives experienced their work with induced abortions as emotionally stressful. However, it was highlighted that all women have the right whether to choose abortion or to proceed with the pregnancy.

Den svenska myndigheten Bokföringsnämnden (BFN) har beslutat att ändra inriktningen på sitt normgivningsarbete och har därför börjat utveckla redovisningsstandarder som ska gälla för olika kategorier av företag. Avsikten med detta arbete är att förenkla och förtydliga reglerna. Under år 2007 har BFN lagt fram ett utkast till ett nytt regelverk som ska gälla för mindre aktiebolag, K2. Internationellt arbetar organisationen International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) på ett liknande projekt som är avsett att användas av små och medelstora företag (SME). IASB:s projekt har som syfte att ta fram en internationell redovisningsstandard skräddarsydd för att möta dessa företags behov.

Local participation in nature conservation has gained more attention over the last decades due to international conventions as well as local and national initiatives. This development can be seen as a reaction to a more expert oriented nature conservation characterized by centralized control and strict preservation of so called "original" nature. The overall objective of this thesis is to contribute to research on new forms of conservation where democracy and local participation is included. The case study focuses on the process of producing a pre-study for a suggested national park in southern Jämtland in the Swedish mountain region, and aims to investigate to what extent local participation was included. The pre-study was led by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) and the County Administrative Board (CAB) in Jämtland.

ABSTRACTBackground: The incidence of type 2 diabetes is increasing worldwide. Early intervention in form of medication, advice on self-management and lifestyle changes is necessary to avoid complications. Few Swedish studies are made on the diabetes nurse?s views on promotion of self- management.Purpose: To examine the diabetes specialist nurse?s experience of promoting self-management to patients with type 2 diabetes in primary care.  Method: A qualitative explorative study where eight diabetes nurses were interviewed. The interview guide consisted of semistructed questions concerning the promotion of self-management.Results: The diabetes nurse?s role in promoting patient self-management is significant, if resources are available in the form of adequate time for the patient and good team work.

Since the spring 2003 the tenant-owner home association the Terrace in Upplands Väsby municipality lies straight under the approach route to Arlanda Airport?s new third landing chute. Noise levels of over 70 dB have been measured in the area, which exceeds National Board of Housing?s, values for traffic noise at a terrace in connection to housing. By using the method of hedonisk pricing the essay tries to find out if there exists a willingness to pay to reduce the noise in the area.

I denna demografiska framskrivningsstudie har Sveriges tre storstadsområden (Storstockholm, Storgöteborg och Stormalmö) jämförts med avseende på de demografiska variablerna migration, fruktsamhet, dödlighet, ålder och kön. Detta har genomförts via tre befolkningsframskrivningar för varje storstadsområde mellan år 2010 till 2035, utifrån dels ett lågt scenario där utgångspunkten varit antaganden kring låg fruktsamhet och flyttningsöverskott, dels ett medelscenario med realistiska antaganden, samt dels ett scenario med höga antaganden. Framskrivningarna utfördes med kohort-komponentmetoden, vilket innebar att varje kohort för samtliga storstadsområden skrevs fram individuellt utifrån scenarierna, vilket gjorde det möjligt att kvarhålla köns- och åldersstrukturerna hos befolkningarna. Resultatet indikerar att storstadsområdenas befolkningar kommer att åldras i betydande grad oavsett scenario, men att Storgöteborg kommer att ha fler invånare i 65+-åldern än de övriga utifrån både medelscenariot och det höga. Storstockholm förväntas dock ha den högsta procentuella ökningen av denna grupps antal medlemmar från år 2010.

In this paper, generic reference in a collection of juridical texts is examined, with focus on third person singular pronouns. The object of the study is to find out which generic pronouns occur in the material along with their relative distribution, but also to display further use patterns and to offer plausible explanations for these patterns. Another object is to evaluate whether the use of generic pronouns corresponds with language planners? recommendations for non-sexist language. The corpus studied consists of Rikspolisstyrelsens författnings­samling (?Statute Book of the Swedish National Police Board?), comprising 172 documents written between 1974 and 2009.The study is divided into two parts.

MethodThe method that has being used in the essay is a qualitative study where we have used semi constructed interviews to create a deeper understanding for brand building in a football club.

Equality between the sexes has been discussed in Sweden for more than 50 years. In the 60´s and during the 70´s the discourse that dominated the debate was based on the assumption that both men and women needed to liberate themselves from their traditional gender roles. In this approach information and education was perceived as the key to equality. During the 80´s however, power and subordination became the main focal point of concern within this debate, and focus upon changing the patriarchal power structures dominating society were perceived as the principal key for establishing equality between the sexes. Today, the latter discourse still dominates both the scientific and the political perspective upon equality.

Decennierna efter krigsåren bidrog en mängd faktorer såsom förbättrad ekonomi, stora årskullar och en stark migration från landsbygd till städer till att en stor efterfrågan på bostäder uppstod i Sverige. År 1965 kom ett beslut från regeringen om det så kallade miljonprogrammet, där målet var att bygga en miljon bostäder på tio år. Det snabba uppförandet fick en del negativa konsekvenser som tekniska defekter, monotona utformningar och brister i utemiljön. Det dröjde inte länge innan miljonprogrammet började utstå stark kritik. Idag har många miljonprogramsområden utvecklats till förorter med stora sociala problem.
