Examensarbetet, som är en del av det tidiga skedet i projekteringen av Studio Acusticum, syftar till att ta fram konceptuella trätakskonstruktioner för en konsertsal. Arbetet behandlar estetik, akustik och teknik. Studio Acusticum kommer att byggas i anslutning till Piteå Musikhögskola och är en del av en vision: att bli en av Europas mest spännande och innovativa mötesplatser för musik, media och teknik. Tanken är att utforma en konsertsal med en annorlunda träkonstruktion och akustik i världsklass. Begreppet akustik är inte entydigt utan kan delas upp i en fysikalisk och en psykologisk del.

During the spring of 2013 we developed a visual identity for Jönköping Bandy, a bandy association in Jönköping, which was founded in 1947.Jönköping Bandy?s main problem was the low interest for the association by the local people. The association also had problems with the economy, which made it hard for them to merchandise themselves.In Jönköping, there were a lot of sport associations, and therefore, it was difficult to find sponsors. One way to help the association, was to create a good visual identity for them. A visual identity that would reflect on the proper values of the association.The intention was: ?Through graphical design, we want to convey Jönköping Bandy to a larger amount of people, and get increased knowledge in graphical idiom.? and was torn apart into these three questions:What core values does Jönköping Bandy have, and how can we convey them through the visual identity?Which visual materials does Jönköping Bandy need?How do other teams in Allsvenskan Södra merchandise themselves through their websites?The work began with a study of relevant theoretical literature, with focus on graphical design.

Vi lever i ett stressigt samhälle där allt skall fungera och tiden är emot oss för det mesta. Ifall det gick att schemalägga alla händelser som skall och borde göras i ett gemensamt kalendersystem så skulle det förenkla situationen för många personer, som skall träffas eller andra händelser som kan uppstå. I detta arbete undersöks det ifall en ny öppen standard för kalenderöverföringar skulle fungera, samt om den är tillräckligt bra för att användas, eller om den skall undvikas. Inom arbetet implementeras en prototyp som baseras på denna kalenderöverföringsstandard. Den prototyp som framtogs, tillhandahåller de grundläggande funktionerna i CAP, jämförs med Microsoft Exchange.

The purpose of this thesis is to present and describe which criteria, according to the systemfamily Configuration Management, should be met when developing a CM-tool to handlemigration data.ACT is a tool developed by Microsoft to gather information about, analyze, test and mitigateapplications in a network when migrating the IT-infrastructure of an organization to a newoperating system. The organization that is being studied wants to present the data about theanalyzed applications in such a way, that a customer can choose what to mitigate and migrate.The goal is therefore to develop a prototype (CM-tool) that will present this data.The study has shown that ACT lacks certain requirements stated by the organization when itcomes to presentation. But when it comes to the rest of the functions, ACT performs as expected.The investigation resulted in specifications and technical solution for the new CM-tool. Today almost every artist has a music video. With today?s technology it has become a lot easier for smaller companies or amateur filmers to produce and distribute their work. But how important is an artist?s music video and where do people find their music these days? Other questions we wanted to answer were if there is a typical way a music video looks like based on its genre.

Arbetet som utförts består av två applikationer där båda presenterar information geografiskt på internet. Applikationerna har konstruerats i utvecklingsverktyget Visual Basic och med GIS-programvarorna MapObjects och MapObjects Internet Map Server. The students have been assigned a task from Consid, were they are supposed to develop a web based platform for handling the company?s consult CV:s. The key features of the system are to simplify the administration part at mission procurements towards customers and to match qualified consultants to certain missions.Consid is an international it-consult company and have about 1000 consults working for them. When Consid makes mission procurements towards a customer they have to manually match the best consult against a certain mission, this is both time consuming and complicated.The students started the project with big visions and thoughts about how the work would be performed and how the system would be developed. After the initial meetings and the closer it came to the beginning of programming it became clear that the expectations were too big.

Lame dogs are a common group of patients for the practicing veterinarian. In the literature it is described how a clinical examination can be performed, based on general clinical-, orthopedic- and neurological examination, and visual evaluation of the dog when standing and during motion. For research, objective gait analysis systems are also used to study clinically healthy and lame dogs during motion. The aim of this degree project was to compare objective kinematic gait analysis with a visual evaluation of dogs with different types of lameness. The project was a pilot study to show if objective gait analysis could be used as a support for the visual examination. Ten lame dogs of different breeds and with different diagnoses were included in the study. They were all patients at the University Animal hospital, Uppsala.

During our education to become lighting designers at Jönköping University, the artificial lighting has been in focus. Therefore we wanted to learn more about daylight. We chose to do this from a visual approach in open plan offices. Since daylight is part of the architects´ responsibility to master, we wanted to examine what architects think of when they plan daylight environments in open plan offices and how this is expressed in the buildings with focus on the visual factors.Our questions at issue are:What knowledge do architects have concerning daylight planning, and how do they use this knowledge in their practice?How well do the chosen daylight environments meet the end-users need of a good visual environment? The study consists of three case studies, carried out in the same way.

Examensarbetet undersöker den nya versionen av affärssystemet Microsoft Dynamics AX R2 2012 och dess plattform Commerce Runtime och analyserar dessa ur perspektiven arkitektur och kommunikationsmöjligheter. Examensarbetet undersöker systemets arkitektur och implementerar tre metoder för att visa upp kommunikationen mellan komponenterna i systemet. Undersökningen avgränsar sig dock till de områden av systemet och plattformen som har med butikslösningen att göra. Undersökningen går hand i hand med implementationen. Implementeringen sker löpande under arbetet för att säkerställa att undersökningen stämmer.

SMC is in the process of developing a micro simulation model. The existing micro simulation model developed at Cornell University for US data, CorSim, is one of the fundamental parts for the new micro simulation at SMC. To develop the Swedish model, Swedish data on all individuals in Sweden during 11 years are also available. These data are organized in a database. This paper describes the process of rebuilding the database to a more useful structure.

The task of this project was to build an computer processing system for pressureregulation, in which the pressure loss over the open hydrolicvalve should be kept as low as possible. By using an cross connected proportional directional valve the valve problem could be solved. The control- and regulationproblem for the pressureregulation system was solved by using the DAQ- card NI6035E from National Instruments and the computerprogram Automatic Pressure Control 1.0 which has been software developed and written in Visual Basic. The final result showed that correct processvarible was obtained in 0,5 seconds, when the setpoint was changed in the testarea 0 - 2,5 MPa..
