The number of locals in Stockholm who chooses the bike in front of public transport has increased significantly in recent years. The product purchaser of this project, Joakim Victorin at Sigma AB, has a keen interest in cycling, which resulted in a fairly obvious topic of this project; through a web application Sigma AB wanted to make it possible to handle results from professional as well as amateur competitions in cycling.The purpose of this web application is to simplify reporting and handling of competition for both small and bigger bicycle races. By providing the users of the system a platform independent client, any available device may be used.This thesis has followed the development principles which prevail on the ASP .NET MVC 3 concept. When developing the system the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 development environment was used. The framework and the pattern of ASP .NET MVC 3 is a prominent part of today?s web development.

Med anledning av den snabbt växande populariteten för mobila enheter såsom iPad/iPhone, Android och Windows Phone 7 öppnas nya möjligheter för affärsverksamheten. Ett exempel är mobil åtkomst till Microsoft SharePoint, en webbplattform som erbjuder en bred uppsättning verktyg för bland annat dokumenthantering och projektsamarbete. Den här studien har utvärderat ett antal lösningar för att tillgängliggöra SharePoint på mobila enheter. Utvärderingen har fokuserat på de två huvudaspekterna användarvänlighet och säkerhet, eftersom studien utfördes på ett företag med omfattande hantering av sekretessbelagda filer. Lösningarna i studien har delvis testats via mobila enheter och delvis endast undersökts genom dokumentation på grund av brist på möjlighet till driftsättning av de mer avancerade lösningarna.

Obese horses with insulin resistance are often also afflicted with laminitis. Horses with these symptoms are given the diagnosis equine metabolic syndrome (EMS). Signs of insulin resistance are excessive accumulation of adipose tissue on the neck, around the withers and on the dorsal area of the hindquarters. Insulin resistance means that the function of insulin is defective and does not stimulate glucose uptake by the cells in the body in the correct way. This will result in an increased insulin release.

Focus of this study is an examination of the Swedish school today, its transformation and complexity when also the community outside of school undergoes changes in shape of among other things a different population composition and new political ideas. More specific the aim of the study is to understand how Gustav Adolfsskolan in Landskrona, a compulsory school in south of Sweden, legitimates the language rule that is in effect in the school. It?s a relatively new measure undertaken in the school and both the problems in the school and this measure have been widely discussed in the public media. The theoretical sources of inspiration have come from Weber, Galbraith and Elias and include power relations and dynamics within social mobility when people establishes in new places.

SBD är ett teknikföretag vilket märks på att mer än 50 % av de anställda är verksamma inom området utveckling och teknik där de har ett nära samarbete med deras kunder. De viktigaste teknikområdena är systemteknik, styrning och navigering, sensorteknik, modellering och simulering samt stridsdels- och framdrivningsteknik. I samband med ett utvecklingsprojekt av en prototyp öppnades möjligheten till att använda ett grafiskt användargränssnitt.

The Swedish Armed Force has a need to streamline the preparation of an exercise in tactical training for soldiers because the preparation of an exercise is currently laborious and time consuming when commanders manually share files to each computer that will be included in the exercise. The degree project was to create a file sharing program within the internal network of the Defence Forces? international centre (Swedint). The program is used by the training management to effectively start up an exercise where soldiers train tactical training in a simulated combat environment. The training management use this program to upload files to a server which notifies all the computers on the network to download these files.

Bakgrunden till detta arbete var att företaget som kontaktades vill ta fram en ny modell av hästsportjacka. Arbetets syfte är att ta fram en modell som har form för funktionen. Vissa funktioner är mer viktiga än andra vid ridning, något som undersöks och presenteras i rapporten. Då många ryttare vistas utomhus blev det även viktigt att undersöka vikten av väderanpassade plagg. Ett grundmönster och en modell tas fram som även graderas.

This thesis investigates how lobbying influences the European Union Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles (2020-2025). It asks which actors dominate, what strategies they use, and how these patterns can be explained by pluralism, corporatism, new institutionalism, and Kl?ver?s exchange logic. Using a qualitative case study with process tracing and text analysis, the study examines consultation data, official EU documents, and transparency reports. Findings show that commercial actors dominate consultations and expert groups, prioritising product-focused measures over systemic change, while transparency gaps enable informal influence.

Personer med vissa kognitiva funktionsnedsättningar har ibland svårt att använda en vanlig webbläsare. Detta gör internet mindre tillgängligt för denna grupp. Med hjälp av en anpassad webbläsare med förenklat gränssnitt och funktionalitet finns förhoppning om att användarvänlighetsbarriärer för internetanvändning hos dessa personer skall minska och att användningen skall kunna vara mer självständig.Som teknisk målplattform används Microsoft Windows med Internet Explorer och utvecklingen genomfördes inom .NET med C#. Ett mål med den tekniska implementationen var att till så stor del som möjligt utnyttja redan installerad programvara på målsystemen och därmed minimera behovet av programuppdateringar, vilket skulle göra programmet mer framtidssäkert, samt minimera mängden administration av programmet. Tester genomförda på Västmanlands läns landstings Datatek på Handikappcentrum i Västerås gav positivt resultat.  Användarna kunde fokusera på de webbsidor de besökte och personalen kunde snabbt ställa in programmet för användaren..

Due to an increasing global market with a growing competition and an escalating technologydevelopment the demands on companies today are increasing. To maximise the output fromtheir recourses they need to be more efficient. The research on product development and how toensure the efficiencies in the process are extensive and companies could by adapting andimplementing the result of this research use its benefits.This master thesis is made for Knightec AB with the aims that through interviews anddiscussions with three companies investigate, collate, justify and give proposals for productdevelopment process together with supporting methods and procedures for technical projectmanagement. Besides Knightec AB three other companies located in Sweden has beenparticipating in this study. Through semi structured interviews and discussions in focus groupsinformation from the three involved companies were obtained.

Företaget Nethouse har haft uppdraget att kravställa, utveckla och implementera ett verksamhetssystem åt Sveriges  Skorstensfejaremästares Riksförbund (SSR). Medlemsföretagen i SSR bedriver sotarverksamhet på uppdrag av Sveriges kommuner och är beroende av insamlad data kopplad till deras verksamhet. I det nyutvecklade systemet, som går under namnet Ritz, samlas informationen i en central databas och är tillgänglig för flertalet intressenter med hjälp av ny teknik och modernare lösningar. Systemet är helt webbaserat och körs som en molntjänst, tillgängligt via antingen en webbsida eller som mobilapplikation. Åtkomsten av data baseras på företagsnivå på ?stämplad? data i databasen och för att reglera åtkomsten för företagsanvändare till respektive företags data används rollbaserad åtkomstkontroll.Detta examensarbete har syftat till att utveckla en prototyp till en beslutsstödslösning för dynamisk åtkomst till de datamängder som lagras inom Ritz.

Examensarbetet behandlar en jämförelse av Server Message Block 3.0 och föregångaren 2.1 i ett befintligt nätverk. Jämförelsen utfördes i fyra laborationsmiljöer bestående av fyra operativsystem: Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7 ochWindows 8. Sammanlagt har fyra tester utförts: Förstudie, Test 1, Test 2 och Test 3. Förstudien utfördes för att testa nätverksprestanda mellan två datorer. De andra testerna satte SMB 2.1 och SMB 3.0 på prov.I Test 1 ansågs SMB 3.0 prestera sämre än SMB 2.1, för att bekräfta resultaten kontaktades Jose Barreto på Microsoft.

I detta examensarbete som har gjorts tillsammans med EAB AB har syftet varit att skapa ettberäkningsprogram, som en applikation i Microsoft Excel. För att dimensionera gavelbalkar istålbyggnader.För att skaffa sig en uppfattning om hur man handberäknar snittkrafterna i en statiskt obestämdbalk, gjordes det en litteraturstudie. Denna ledde till att det valdes olika metoder för att beräknasnittkrafterna, bland annat valdes Cross-metod för att beräkna momentet i stöden.Beräkningarna av snittkrafterna gjordes i alla balkens stöd. Under dimensioneringsprocessengjordes bland annat interaktionskontroller mellan moment och normalkraft i varje stöd. Dettagjordes för att få en så noggrann dimensionering som möjligt.

As self-service technologies become more common in service provisions, a deeper understanding is needed of how customer satisfaction is affected by automated service encounters. Drawing from theories of customer satisfaction, human interaction, and the dynamics of complex service provisions, the differences between automated and interpersonal service encounters in the initial part of a service provision are examined in terms of customers? evaluation of the service encounter itself, overall satisfaction, as well as the service encounter?s impact on global evaluations and evaluations of other non-dependant service encounters. The study was performed on people travelling by air on Swedish domestic routes. Passengers were asked to evaluate the airline?s performance on different attributes of the air travel they had undertaken, as well as to form an overall evaluation of the service.

The purpose of this study is to answer how teachers look at diversity in groups, with learning in focus. For this study I chose different high-schools in Sweden teaching Moving Pictures, in Swedish 'Rörlig bild'.These are the research questions: 1) What advantages and disadvantages do the teachers see with homogenity and heterogenity in their groups? 2) Which ascpects of teaching do the teachers bring up when talking about diversity?The method of this study has been a qualitative analysis and investigation in questionnarie form, with qualitative questions. Teachers were asked and data was examined with help of theories in diversity, group work, group dynamics, homogenity and heterogenity by authors like Toseland, Jones and Gellis (2004), Forslund Frykedal (2008) and Hammar Chiriac (2008).It is noticable that the teachers thought of differences in terms almost exclusively of school ability. The result is: - As a whole: homogenity means security, heterogenity means creativity.
