Syftet var att utifrån ett demokratiperspektiv analysera och utvärdera medlemsinflytandeti praktiken inom Konsumentföreningen Svea. Primärdata har insamlats genom entotalundersökning av Uppsalas tio Coop-butiker där butikschefer och medlemssekreterareintervjuats samt enkät skickats till butiksrådsordförande.Analysen har skett utifrån Michele Michelettis modell för demokratisk revision avorganisationer, innehållande åtta valda indikatorer som nämns i följande slutsatser: KtfSveas butiksnivå fungerar väl med avseende på medlemsdeltagande , resurs- ochgenomförandekontroll . Tolerans och lyhördhet samt organisationensbeslutsförmåga fungerar väl enligt studiens resultat men vi betvivlar tillförlitligheten.Tre indikatorer fungerar inte tillfredsställande. Brister i kontroll över dagordningenleder till försvagat medlemsinflytande. Även intern debatt och jämlikhet i beslutfungerar mindre bra och skulle kunna förbättras genom en översyn och förnyelse blandförtroendevalda..

This is done with personally interviews with 7 young municipality politicians from the municipality of Eda.The specific research questions are:? Who are they which became young municipality politicians?? What was the reason that they became politicians?? How do they look at municipality politics?? Which roll and function does the young people have as a municipality politician?? Tutor: Michele Micheletti. ?Hennes & Mauritz ? a case study of their CSR work and collaborations with NGOs.?The purpose of this essay is to examine if and how the transnational corporation Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) collaborates with NGOs in it?s work with human rights for workers and increased corporate social responsibility. I have looked at H&Ms CSR report from 2006, the Swedish network Clean Clothes Campaigns report about Swedish corporations in the textile industry and if their CSR work during the past ten years have given any results and I have also done two interviews with two NGOs.The examination is thereby a case study where I?m examining H&Ms CSR work and its collaborations with NGOs and the NGO?s opinions about H&Ms CSR work.My delimitation lies in the fact that I only have examined one corporation and what two NGOs thinks about the corporation.

The Saami, a Nordic indigenous people scattered over four countries, has for centuries been regarded as parts of the national populations of the countries in which they live. During the 19th century saami demands for greater influence resulted en several changes, among them the founding of a Swedish Saami Council in 1993. The council became a popularly elected, representative institution with an agenda of its own, but also a public authority answerable to the government. The decision to attribute the council this twofold role was unusual and, from a certain point of view, even controversial: it makes it difficult to determine the location of the power to act in saami-related issues and the legitimacy to do so.This essay is about how the twofold role came into existence, what it leads to and how the seemingly contradictive duality is managed. It has an institutional approach with theories concerning institutions and etnicity as well as institutional change and handling of complicated and ambiguous demands.
