Syftet med denna etnografiskt inspirerande studie ?r att unders?ka vilka didaktiska strategier f?rskoll?rare till?mpar i utbildningen f?r att gynna barns spr?kutveckling och sociala samspel med hj?lp av h?gl?sning genom l?rplattan. Vi valde detta ?mne d? den svenska regeringen givit Skolverket i uppdrag att se ?ver L?roplanen f?r f?rskolan och revidera den genom att ta bort kravet p? digitalisering. Detta v?ckte ett intresse hos oss att unders?ka hur man arbetar med l?rplattan i f?rskolan.

Att teknik finns på förskolan, det vet vi alla. Men i vilken utsträckning? Vad det är som styr hur mycket de använder sig av teknik i den pedagogiska processen? Och finns det intresse för teknik hos barnen?För att ta reda på just detta har jag valt att göra enkätundersökning, observationer av lokalerna, genomgång av materialet inom förskolan och en undersökning på ett bibliotek. Att barnen gillar och gärna håller på med teknik är lärarna överens om. De flesta av förskolorna använder sig ganska lite av teknik på sina lektioner, men anser ändå att teknik är ett mycket viktigt ämne för barn i förskoleålder.

The purpose of this master thesis was to study the librarians?assignment at the public accesses computers, especially howthe librarians perceive what their task is and what their taskshould be.In order to answer these questions a series of ten qualitativeinterviews ?inspired by the phenomenographic approach ?was conducted with librarians who were employed at smallpublic libraries in municipalities with 5 000 - 25 000residents in Sweden.The conclusions in the master thesis were that librarianshave both similarities and differences in how they perceivetheir tasks at the public computers. The most essential taskwas helping the user with information seeking. Thelibrarians also perceived that it should be included in theirduties to help users with the technical/practical issues at thepublic computers. Competence, time and assets were finallythree outlying factors which affected in what extent thelibrarians were able to help the users..

This thesis is an attempt to study computer games and playful computer programs for childrenand youth at Swedish public libraries. The main method used, is qualitative interviews.The main reason the libraries in the study offer computer games and playful computer programsto their users, is that every member of the society shall have opportunity to use newtechnology such as computers and computer programs. The users of this media are for themost part boys. The librarians in our study wish to have pedagogical games and programswithout violent themes at their libraries. The purpose of this study is to examine the physical space of children?s libraries in Sweden, and also to see which influences there are in the literature about the same subject. What ideas exist in the literature about the physical room of children?s libraries? We have studied how and if these influences can be seen in a selected number of children?s libraries. Our theoretical perspective is based on Anthony Gidden?s theory of construction.

The objective of this entire essay, founded on nineteen interviews of poetry readers at thepublic library in Borås, is to ascertain why people do read poetry. 1, SammanfattningDen här uppsatsen handlar om hur kommun- och skolbibliotek kan arbeta med integration och läsfrämjande arbete. ProjektetBiblioteket mitt i Världen har nyligen beviljats medel från Västerbottens Läns Landsting och Kulturrådet. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer med några personer som kan komma att påverkas av projektet och observationer försöker jag ge en bild av inledningsfasen av ett projekt som rör integration och läsfrämjande arbete. Observationerna rör föredraget Böcker, boxning och värderingar som inleder projektet. Eftersom projektet ligger alldeles i startgroparna är uppsatsen ett försök att sondera terrängen och undersöka projektets möjligheter.

Voluntary organisations provided the first consumer guidance in Sweden. The government'sinterest in the question started during the second world war and has ever since increased.Since the 1970's the local authorities, with support from the community, have played animportant roll in consumer policy work. Due to the economic recession of recent years theappropriation to consumer guidance work has been cut down. The work has been rationalisedand libraries have more frequently been used to spread consumer information.In Stockholm the municipal has been responsible for local consumer information since the1940's. Co-operation with the library of Stockholm has occurred in different forms.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how public libraries in Norrbotten provide multilingual media and how the commitment is legitimized. In January 2014 there was a change to the guidelines for the International Library?s service for providing multilingual media. The responsibility for the provision of this service was also changed. The result shows there has been different ways of implementing the guidelines in practice; this has led to inequalities in the local library service.We have assembled data through qualitative interviews with five different public libraries in the north of Sweden.

Syftet med den här studien var att inventera möjligheterna för kommunala verksamheter inom Skellefteå kommun att stänga av ventilationen vid varningssignalen Viktigt Meddelande till Allmänheten. Inventeringen skedde med hjälp av enkäter som sändes till ett stort antal kommunala verksamheter såsom; förskolor, skolor, äldreboenden, badhus och bibliotek. Resultatet visade att kunskap om alarmsignalen Viktigt meddelande till allmänheten var låg. Några förslag på hur säkerheten kan förbättras, ifall en olycka inträffar, är givna i rapporten. Ett av förslagen som framkommer är att öka kunskapen om hur ventilationen stängs av.

I detta arbete undersöks effektiviteten hos Androids medföljande metoder för att uppnå beständigt tillstånd. Undersökningen baseras på ett egenutvecklat verktyg för att mäta de olika metodernas effektivitet, med avseende på tid för att spara ner och läsa in tillståndet samt hur mycket utrymme det sparade tillståndet tar upp i sekundärminnet. Resultaten från undersökningen visar att de olika metoderna presterar olika bra beroende på tillståndets storlek samt om tillståndet mestadels består av text eller av nummer. Den metod som generellt är mest effektiv är Javas Serializable. Framtida undersökningar skulle kunna komplettera den genomförda undersökning genom att också utvärdera effektiviteten hos metoder som tillhandhålls via externa bibliotek..

When the Tranemo library moved to new localities in 1991 there were also some changes made to make the library more user-friendly. The purpose of this essay is to see how a useroriented change can be done and how it has been perceived by members of the library staff and the library users.This is done by the following means:l) interviews with members of the library staff,2) a questionnaire to the users in Tranemo,3) a comparative questionnaire to users of the libraries in Skara and Lerum.The comparison was concentrated on how the library presents its material. The result of this comparison shows that even though there is a difference among the three libraries, the difference is small and it is impossible to say for sure that it has anything to do with the changes that have been done. The interviews and questionnaire in Tranemo give a positive picture of that library..

Fler och fler webbapplikationer låter sina användare ladda upp bilder. Ibland behöver dessa bilder manipuleras på något sätt, till exempel förminskas eller beskäras för att bättre passa in på webbsidan. Detta kan göras på flera olika sätt men denna rapport behandlar endast ett av biblioteken för bildmanipulation i PHP, nämligen GD-biblioteket.Syftet med denna rapport var att hitta eventuella styrkor och svagheter i detta bibliotek gällande bildmanipulation. Detta har gjorts genom att försöka skapa, för webben vanlig funktionalitet så som exempelvis tumnaglar, beskärning och vattenmärkning och sedan dokumentera resultatet.Resultatet av testningen visade att all testad funktionalitet gick att åstadkomma och slutsatsen som drogs av detta var att GD-biblioteket är ett bra val för någon som vill manipulera bilder..

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to see how public libraries have adopted the new e-book readers and how the libraries think the e-readers will affect them in the future. There are three different theories in this study which are used to see how the e-book reader influences the libraries as an innovation and as a remediation from the paper book as well as its evolution. The authors have used four qualitative interviews where they have tried to find the most relevant librarians for the purpose. It was found that all the libraries in the study think that they need to learn about the e-reader and its functions to be able to understand users? needs, but they haven´t agreed if they should have the e-reader as a library loan.
