This is a qualitative study about how young men in the age of 16-18 years can construct their masculinity. How do these young men describe a ?real man?? What are their thoughts about themselves as adults? The purpose of this study includes a gender perspective in surroundings that cope with the sport football. To answer this study, six young men in the age of 16-18 years, whom are active football players in different levels, have been interviewed. The findings showed that the young men seemed to construct their masculinity in cooperation with the surroundings and the nearest family members seemed to have a very strong influence of the boy?s development to become a man.

Undernäring är ett tillstånd som kan påverka äldre personers dagliga liv och som därmed kan påverka hälsan negativt. Faktorerna som kan leda till undernäring är många och av skiftande slag. Syftet med arbetet var att identifiera och beskriva faktorer som kan leda till att äldre personer bli undernärda. Metoden som användes var en systematisk litteraturstudie och genomförandet av sökningarna gjordes i de vetenskapliga databaserna Cinahl, ELIN, PsycINFO och PubMed. I den systematiska litteraturstudien ingick 12 kvalitetsgranskade artiklar, både kvantitativa och kvalitativa studier.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how some individual PE teachers view knowledge and what they think about the status of physical education whitin the school. The method used in this examination was both sudies of literature and a qualitative investigation. Six PE teachers, from three diffrent schools in Sweden, were interviwed from a phenomentographic research approach. I made the analysis from a sociocultural approach. The result indicates that th teachers had difficulties to describethe conception of knowledge, but that the pupils/students achieve knowledge in physical education.

AbstractReading books to children is often an integral part in preschool activities. The purpose of thisstudy is to investigate how educators think about the educational function of literature inpreschool activities. I have in my study used qualitative interviews with active educators andobservations to answer my questions about why the educator reads to the children, how theeducator thinks about the choice of literature and if the literature can contribute to thechildrens development and if so, how. The knowledge- and research background presentsliterature and previous research done on the subject. The results of my study shows that theeducators have many thoughts about the importance of literature in preschool.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hedersförtryckta kvinnorupplevelser till följd av att vara hedersutsatt. Hedersförtryck kanbland annat definieras som: kollektiv förtryck av familj och släkt,frihetsbegränsning, fysiskt och psykiskt våld, kontroll av beteende ochsexualitet samt inget socialt stöd av varken familj eller släkt. I studienhar tre kvinnor i åldrarna 20 ? 30 intervjuats. Data samlades ingenom semistrukturerade intervjuer och analyserades utifråndatastyrd tematisk analys.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att som flöjtist utveckla och undersöka det musikaliska, mentala och sceniska arbetet inför och i samband med 2 konserter och en provspelning. Jag har spelat in de tre tillfällena och sedan jämfört min egen upplevelse av konserten med ljudinspelningen. Utifrån detta har jag sedan utvärderat och hittat vägar att arbeta inför och under en konsert och andra typer av liknande uppspelningssituationer. Målet med arbetet har varit att hitta strategier och verktyg för att hantera olika typer av spelsituationer som är användbara för både mig själv och andra musiker. Resultatet jag kom fram till genom arbetet var att god förberedelse av både det musikaliska materialet och de praktiska delarna inför en konsert är till stor del det som påverkar slutresultatet i positiv riktning..

This report is an attempt to clarify how religious and non-religious views-of-life [livsåskådningar] are created through the collaboration and opposition of religious and scientific elements/ideas. This with the hope of reaching a fruitful result related to the solution of world-view related conflicts, such as the ones existing between science and religion, on an individual and societal level.This is accomplished with the help of two assertions: (1) Mankind has a need to explain its existence and surroundings. (2) Religion and science has their origins in the same seed and aim to serve the same purpose, or function. Together these two assertions lay the theoretical foundations of this report which implies that all humans have an innate need of sustaining a stable world-view.The result of this report is that a final solution to world-view related conflicts are beyond reach as our mental and physical nature limits us. The aim of this study is to investigate how preschool teachers reason about gender stereotypical and gender neutral toys and other material. I would also like to see how the pedagogues reason about gender segregation when it comes to toys. To investigate the issue, I have interviewed three pedagogues from different preschools. The results showed that the work procedures differed a bit from school to school, although they all wanted to achieve the same goal. A goal that our curriculum mention as well: Not to make a difference between boys and girls.

The aim of this qualitative study was to study high school PE teachers´ experience of health in high school and how they work with health in their physical education. This was examined by interviewing five high PE school teachers. The results show that all teachers were in the category humanistic approach. They saw health as more than only absence of sickness. The methods for using health in their physical education were divided into three different categories; physical health, improve the individual and theoretical health.

Syftet med denna undersökning har varit att granska några föräldrars tankar kring genus- och jämställdhetsarbete i förskolan. Med hjälp av enkäter och intervjuer har vi samlat in vårt empiriska material. I enkätundersökningen var deltagandet lågt vilket kan tyda på ett svalt intresse för dessa frågor bland föräldrarna. Intervjupersonerna var dock av den uppfattningen att genus- och jämställdhetsarbete i förskolan är något av stor vikt. Intervjupersonerna var eniga både vad gäller den negativa inställningen till enkönade grupper i förskolan och vikten av förebilder av båda könen bland förskolans personal.

AbstractThe aim of this thesis is to analyse a proposition that was made by the Swedish liberal party in the election campaign in 2002. The proposition was part of an integration program and the main point was that to become a Swedish citizen you should do a test to prove your ability in Swedish. In this paper, I?ve been investigating the way that this proposition was presented and the reactions that it met among the Swedish people. In my work I have noticed that there are some specific arguments that were very powerful and which were the ones that attracted most people.

My goal with this Project was to create four pictures which de¬scribed four different emotions. The purpose of the project was that the pictures would be placed in a psychology department and they could use them as a starting point for a discussion about the patients? emotions. My personal purpose was that I wanted to create pictures in scale 1:1 in an analogue fashion, and try to learn more about how people see and feel about pictures. What kind of thoughts can a picture give you? Can I create a picture which can be used as a platform for a discussion? Can I make a picture which describes an emotion? The making of the pictures started with developing ideas and then I took photographs of my friend Joel, in different situations and moods, which I used as reference for my paintings.

Certifications is common for IT in relation to individual program languages or program applications. Certifications for educations that endures several years is not as common to see. In this paper the situation for the Systems Science programme is researched, by investigating how the programme looks around in Sweden. Also by using interviews, show how companies and people responsible for the programme in Umeå, think the contact is between them and how the knowledge of the Systems Science students are from the view of the companies that employ them. In the end the conclusions show that there are differences in the Systems Science programme, and that the companies have quite a similar view of what the Systems Science students are good and not so good at.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva vilka copingstrategier kvinnan använder sig av när hon har bröstcancer. Metoden som användes för denna litteraturstudie var Goodmans modell med sju steg för ett systematiskt tillvägagångssätt. Litteratursökningen utfördes i databaserna PsycInfo, Cinahl, PubMed Cochrane, SveMed+ och Medline. Oberoende av varandra har 10 artiklar kvalitetsgranskats enligt Carlsson & Eimans (2003) bedömningsmall som modifierades till den population som undersöktes. Resultatet av tio inkluderade studier visade att det fanns ett flertal olika copingstrategier som kvinnor använder sig av när de har bröstcancer.
