Spegelträning är en ny och relativt oprövad metod för behandling av handskadade patienter. Behandlingen ger en illusion av funktion i en icke fungerande hand och metoden baseras på forskning om hjärnans plastiska förmåga som gör att kroppsuppfattningen snabbt kan förändras. Studien gjordes som en fallstudie och beskriver spegelträning som arbetsterapeutisk intervention på en patient med handskada. Patienten tränade med spegel i sex veckor. Handfunktion och aktivitetsförmåga före respektive efter behandlingsperioden jämfördes.

The Human Rights claim that all humans have special rights that are not allowed to be broken or violated. Although these rights are broken and violated by states every day. One major fact that makes this possible is the principle of sovereignty that includes all states, and which says that every state has the power and right to make decisions and create laws within the own country without the interference of other actors. The United Nations addressed the important aspects of equally treatment in their declaration of the human rights. It is each conventions state?s responsibility to fulfil all the rights in the declaration. AbstractThe aim is to find out the teachers´ different point of views regarding what and why it´s important to teach children about the human body and in what way educationists can teach this knowledge. Seven teachers are asked, through qualitative interviews, about their point of views on teaching the human body in pre-school.The teachers don`t seem to reflect upon the subject, which shows that a development of knowledge needs within the area.Fist of all the children´s spontaneous questions direct what the educationists talk about with the children. The most frequently mentioned questions are about the circulation of the blood and the digestion organs. The teachers think it´s important that the children get knowledge about the human body in order to get a better opinion of their own bodies and themselves. It´s also important because this is the basis of other kind of knowledge, for instance the knowledge about animals..

Purpose:Our purpose with this essay was to see how a health promotion initiative could be profitability and how human resource cost accounting could be used for decision making. Does it cost more than it taste? Method:We have been using qualitative interviews with politicians, human health developerand accountants in a municipality. We have also collected data from a university lecturer which shows numbers from the health promotion initiative and how it is been affecting the involved staff. Result:The result show us that the politicians, human health developer and accountants all want to introduce physical exercising at work.

The focus of research on the effects in sanctioned countries has left the question of whether economic sanctions can have a regional effect on human rights levels in countries not sanctioned in the same region. Therefore, this essay has sought to investigate if economic sanctions aimed at an individual state have a regional effect on the level of human rights in countries not sanctioned within the same region. A previous study found that economic sanctions in Latin America positively affected the level of human rights in non-sanctioned countries within the same region. This essay has examined whether the same result can be found in a region with a different level of democracy.

The fundamental freedoms and human rights is something the countries, and its citizens, of theEuropean Union more or less take for granted. AbstractAs human beings, we are all governed by our innate instinct that to kill another human being, or to just inflict pain on another, is to go against what makes us human. Still, it happens every day, far and near. Some of these killings happens in war-like situations, where atrocities against humanity occur. The international community has since the founding of UN in 1945, a duty to intervene where crimes against the human rights occur. This is a difficult task, because, in order to intervene and help those in need, the situation might postulate states violating states sovereignty.

Antalet sjukskrivningar i Sverige har sedan slutet av 1990-talet ökat. För att få ner antalet sjukskrivna i arbetslivet, har en ny sjukskrivningsprocess utvecklats. Förändringarna med socialstyrelsens ökade krav på tidig bedömning av arbetsförmåga vid sjukskrivning och förbättrade rehabiliteringsinsatser kan fungera som bas för utvecklingen av arbetsterapin och arbetsterapeuternas kompetens. En enkätundersökning genomfördes med sex arbetsterapeuter inom primärvården i Region Skåne. Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka hur arbetsterapeuterna ställde sig till att göra tidiga bedömningar i sjukskrivningsprocessen och hur detta kommer att påverka deras framtida arbetssituation.

Human presence has always influenced the surrounding areas, the forest as well. Structure and species composition have changed during human land use. Knowledge regarding these changes should be of great interest for conservation and forestry. We have analyzed human impact on the tree species composition on five study sites during 2000 years in Ångermanland, Sweden. More specifically the change in tree species composition in percentage amongst alder, birch, spruce and pine over time.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the user service discourses in the field of public libraries that can be identified in four Swedish library journals. Also which underlying causes that control the discourses and the consequences of them are examined. Questions in this study are: which discourses can be found, what characterises them, what kind of different discourses concerning technology in society control the user service discourses and what are the consequences of them. The theoretical starting-point is Ernesto Laclaus and Chantal Mouffes discourse theory. The method is text analytic.

Personer med funktionsnedsättningar stöter ofta på hinder i den offentliga miljön, till exempel trappor, höga trösklar, dålig skyltning eller belysning. Detta i sin tur påverkar individens förmåga att utföra dagliga aktiviteter och att vara delaktig i samhället. En pilotversion av ett kartläggningsinstrument användes för en bedömning av miljöhinder i ett urval faciliteter i en skånsk kommun. Av de 1215 miljöitems som bedömdes påträffades 298 miljöhinder. Generellt sett visar detta på relativt få miljöhinder vilket kan vara avgörande för tillgänglighet och därmed även påverka aktivitet och delaktighet positivt.
