The care is preformed in cooperation with a multi-professional team formed of different professions. Advanced home care is mostly palliative care. The purpose is to give the patient better quality of life and anticipate, survey and palliate symptoms. The aim of this study was to describe the experiences of district nurses using advanced homecare when nursing patients with palliative care at home.

När de sedan tar med denna utrustning och teknik till arbetet för att på ett mer tillfredsställande sätt utföra sina arbetsuppgifter uppstår fenomenet BYOD som har blivit allt vanligare och vanligare. Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på vad fenomenet BYOD är och hur det påverkar organisationer som anammar det. Dess fördelar och risker har undersökts samt fenomenets utbredning bland svenska organisationer. The project has been provided by Zenit design group and the goal for this project was tomanufacture and perform tests of a prototype that supersaturates water in a continuous flow ofwater. The project has involved finding and sorting out relevant data in scientific papers, books,communication with foreign manufactures and other platforms for information.The project has resulted in manufacturing of a test rig and an oxygen infuser based onmembrane technology. The test rigs purpose was to perform tests on oxygen infusers fordifferent comparison test and performance benchmarks in a in a laboratory provided by Zenit.The project led to satisfying results using the oxygen infuser manufactured by the authors withcomparable levels of saturation to the reference infuser.The theory behind this project is based on medical research, belonging terms will be explainedbut the authors have chosen to delimit the project from the medical area. Background: A life with severe chronic heart failure is debilitating, and most patients die of the disease. The possibility of having a heart from a deceased donor is often the patient's only hope of continued life. Aim: To gain a deeper insight and understanding of the patients experiences after a heart transplant. Method: Literature study with results based on 13 scientific articles. Results: Gratitude was the great common experience for the recipients of new hearts.

Background: One of the main concerns related to medical therapy is non-compliance to drugs. More than half of all patients do not comply with prescribed medication. Non-compliance to drug therapy leads to unnecessary suffering for the patient and there are no easy solutions to the problem. In order to create understanding for the individual patient it is important that medical staffs are enlightened on the existing problems concerning this matter. Purpose: To describe factors that effect compliance to drug prescription.

 Syfte: Att undersöka huruvida patienterna upplever det postoperativa förloppet avseende smärta i hals, heshet, smärta vid sväljning samt generellt obehag beroende på om endotrakealtub (ETT) eller i-gel supraglottic airway device (SAD) använts i samband med generell anestesi vid elektiv kirurgi.Metod: I denna kvantitativa tvärsnittsstudie samlades informationen in på formulär. Parametrarna skattades av patienterna med hjälp av visuell analog skala (VAS). 60 patienter tillfrågades konsekutivt till studien och 13 föll bort vilket resulterade i 47 patienter som fullföljde studien.Resultat: Gällande graden av smärta i hals, heshet, sväljsvårigheter och allmänt obehag postoperativt så skattade sammanlagt sju deltagare i grupperna med ETT och i-gel ett VAS värde över 3. Patienter som haft ETT upplevde signifikant mer heshet, och sväljsvårigheter än patienter som haft i-gel.Slutsats: Denna studie visar att patienter som får ETT eller i-gel skattar sina besvär avseende smärta i hals, heshet, sväljsvårigheter och allmänt obehag i en låg frekvens. Dessutom påvisas att majoriteten av de som skattar besvär gör detta i de lägre segmenten av VAS skalan..

Amalie Skram (1846-1905) was born in Norway but lived in Denmark. She published several books about gender relations and built up a reputation as a naturalistic writer. In 1894, a nervous breakdown made her seek help from the famous psychiatrist Knud Pontoppidan. He sent her to an asylum, but she returned home after spending two months in psychiatric care. In 1895, Skram published two novels about the painter Else Kant, based on her own experiences but not written as autobiographies.

In this master thesis, which is made in a qualitative manner, we have as purpose to investigate the nurses' estimation of the hospital welfare officer. We find it interesting to take a closer look at their opinion, because of our earlier, bachelor thesis, based on the same subject, only then in the welfare officer´s perspective on themselves. We have interviewed ten nurses and our questions at issue were the following four: Where in the hospital´s hierarchy do the nurses place the welfare officer? In what way do the nurses look at themselves and on the fact that they are leagally authorized? How do the nurses define the welfare officer´s occupational sphere and his part of the medical care? Which opinion do the nurses have on the co-operation with the hospital welfare officer? The primary information, together with two maintheories and a collection of litterature on the subject have helped us to answer the four questions of issue. We have found that the results we see, in some ways are compareable to our first investigation.

The purpose of this paper was to learn more about the strategies used by senior high school librarians and teachers in educating their students' information skills, such as criticism of the information sources. The paper was based upon qualitative interviews with one senior high school librarian and three senior high school teachers. The respondents were asked to spontaneously tell me about their counseling strategies when the students do research assignments in medicine-oriented subjects. The respondents? narratives were analyzed with Carol Collier Kuhlthau?s theories about the information search process and its levels of mediation, as well as with literature about counseling strategies in mind.
