This study has examined how social media has changed food companies way of holding contests. The study examines how food companies use contests with the help of social media and how they used to do the contests before the use of social media. We have also researched the users behaviours and opinions of companies contests on and outside of social media.In this study we have interviewed four people responsible for contests on the social media department on their respective food company. We also performed a survey that was published on Facebook and followed it up with interviews from two of the participants.This study has showed that contests on social media, as a technical aspect, have given new possibilities for the design of the contests. But there are still some unexplored areas around contests on Facebook and the companies do not know exactly what the users are demanding.

Arbetet undersöker hur man genom fysisk planering kan reglera förebyggande för att minska risken för och konsekvenserna av översvämning.

I detta arbete tas det del av hur uppfattningen till daglig fysisk aktivitet är bland lärarna ute på fältet. Syftet var att undersöka vad lärarna på stadier 7-9 har för inställning till fysisk aktivitet, hur de använder sig av det i sin undervisning samt vad de gör för att påverka detta.Vi tar även allmänt upp betydelsen av fysisk aktivitet och visar på vad fysisk inaktivitet kan leda till. Vad som framkommit under arbetets gång är att elevers fysiska aktivitet har minskat. Skolan har därför en viktig roll då det gäller att aktivera barn och ungdomar. Undersökningen har genomförts på en högstadieskola, på en mindre ort i Skåne.

This study examines whether social media had an influence on the revolution in Egypt. Social media was an important tool for the revolution since the president Hosni Mubarak and the Egyptian regime strictly controls the media. However social media was not the determining factor for the revolution, the revolt evolved due to many underlying factors. Social media facilitated communication, made the mobilization effective and, spread information to the inhabitants and to the rest of the world. Den effektivaste behandlingen av depressioner anses vara en kombination av antidepressiva läkemedel och samtalsterapi. Det finns vissa belägg för fysisk aktivitet som ett framgångsrik preventiv åtgärd mot depression. Regelbunden fysisk aktivitet har en stor betydelse för folkhälsan och motverkar de vanligaste folksjukdomarna. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva evidens för effekt av fysisk aktivitet i samband med depression.

The primary purpose of this essay is to study and describe what student?s self experiences of the media coverage of social work. The theoretical perspectives applied to analyse the empirical data are social constructionism, roles, and construction. The method of this study is qualitative and based on ten personal interviews. The material has been analysed by condensed meaning units and three themes have been used, the media coverage of social work, the relationship between social workers and media and the influence media coverage has on the students.The results given from these interviews show that the majority of the interviewed group considers the media coverage of social work as negative.

Fysisk inaktivitet är en riskfaktor och bidragande orsak till sjukdom och ohälsa. Det är ett folkhälsoproblem som kostar samhället stora pengar varje år. Fysisk aktivitet på recept är en relativt ny företeelse och ett led i att försöka arbeta förebyggande och hälsofrämjande. Sambandet mellan upplevelsen av hälsa och fysisk aktivitet på recept behöver klarläggas tydligare. Syftet med arbetet är att beskriva patientens upplevelse av fysisk aktivitet på recept och hur det påverkar patientens hälsa.

Att vara fysiskt aktiv i grundskolan är obligatoriskt för många. Utgångspunkten i arbetet är det uppdrag som skrevs in i läroplanen 2003 som innebär att skolan ska sträva efter att erbjuda alla elever daglig fysisk aktivitet. Vad är rektorns ansvar och vilka förutsättningar har rektorer och skolan för att kunna erbjuda eleverna fysisk aktivitet? Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur rektorerna i en kommun i norra Sverige erbjuder alla elever daglig fysisk aktivitet. Som metod har vi valt att skicka ut enkäter till alla rektorer på F-6 skolor i en kommun, efter att ha genomfört en pilotstudie på ett fåtal personer skickade vi ut vår egenkonstruerade enkät.

This qualitative research is about how Swedish media constructs immigrants in articles. The focus of the study will lie on ten Swedish articles and how they stereotype immigrants, but the demarcation will be for young immigrant boys related to crimes. The purpose of this paper is to highlight how media achieves its goal to construct a group as inferior. This will be implemented with the help of articles from different newspapers that reported on immigrants who have committed crimes. We have chosen to look at different newspapers to see if there is a curtain pattern in the construction of immigrant boy.

Depression är en form av psykisk ohälsa som ökar i samhället. Olika former av behandling används där fysisk aktivitet är en av dem. Genom denna studie vill vi öka kunskapen kring upplevelser och påverkan av fysisk aktivitet hos vuxna med depression. Uppsatsen är gjord som en litteraturstudie där kvantitativa och kvalitativa studier använts. I resultatet framkom fyra teman där det första påvisar att fysisk aktivitet har en positiv påverkan på personer med depression.

Studien undersöker hur fysisk gestaltning i pedagogiskt drama formas under ett lärotillfälle i skolmiljö. Studien använder sig av ett socialsemiotiskt synsätt och en multimodal ansats för att undersöka eleven som utövare av fysisk gestaltning. Fysisk gestaltning betraktas som ett medium och sammanhanget analyseras utifrån ett designteoretiskt perspektiv på lärande. Två grupper elever i 10 års-åldern har filmats och observerats. Resultaten visar att påverkan från regler i skolan, instruktioner och pedagogen beskriver elevernas formella design.

This thesis highlights the complex relationship between social movements and the mass media. The new social movements really have to struggle to get access to the media sphere, often enforced to use spectacular media strategies, and at the same time maintain their political messages. This struggle gives us reason to question the liberal notion of the media as a neutral arena for political communication and debate. In fact we argue that the media industry should be seen as a powerful actor and that the mass media serves to maintain and enforce an ideology that serves the political and economic elites in the liberal capitalist democracy. The Social movements that seek to question these elites and present an alternative, as they did during the EU-meeting in Gothenburg 2001, quite clearly gets far from neutral media image of the political actions taking place instead the are portrayed as violent or associated with violence and not presented as legitimate or believable political subjects..

The municipality of Kalmar have a problem, how to reach and communicate with young people in Kalmar. In today?s changing media environment it gets more difficult to stand out and reach audience with messages and especially with the new forms of media that has revealed. Therefore, we have been commissioned to develop recommendations on how the municipality of Kalmar can communicate with young people in Kalmar.  The purpose with this study is to investigate which media channels young people in Kalmar use and their attitudes towards social media in particular. We wanted to find out how the municipality should communicate to reach them and what attitude youths have against the municipality in general.
