Eskilstuna municipality is working to be a municipality that the people who are living in it are proud of. In a way to do that two students have examined what changes are good or bad when there outdoor environment are rebuilding and changing By doing interviews with the people who are living next to two streets that already have been going through big changes and during those interviews the inhabitants have hade opportunity to explain what they are seeing as good or band changes in the surroundings. The results from these interviews have been compared to interviews with a politician`s vision for the area and white-collar workers that are working for the Eskilstuna municipality. If you want to shorten this report to a couple of sentence it would be:By planting trees and busses and letting the politicians that have a vision be part of the planning process the people that are living in that area is going to be satisfied..

The ambition to involve younger people in future planning processes in order to get full participation of all groups in the society requires a deep and well-planned dialogue. Although, participation not always means inclusion. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the younger generation in the society is included in the future work. This is based on a case study of the developmental work in the municipality of Skellefteå.Questions that were answered were how the municipality has made the participation possible? To what extent has the younger generation been involved? How did this group experience their participation? The methodology consisted of mixed methods that include observations, surveys to the session leaders and to the participants in the dialogue and three interviews with two participants and one municipal civil servant.The result showed that the open information didn´t reach the younger generation to the open dialogues although the dialogue design gave good conditions for participation.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att få en bild av hur begreppet medborgardialog beskrivs av medborgare och politiker i Angered, och belysa förhållandet mellan dem. Medborgardialogen har där funnits med i en specifik process, nämligen kring stadsdelens skolomorganisation. Metoden vi använt har en fenomenologisk ut- gångspunkt eftersom vi vill förstå individernas egna upplevelser. För att uppnå detta har vi gjort kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra politiker i Angereds stadsdels- nämnd och tre medborgare boende i stadsdelen. Den insamlade empirin som kom utav dessa intervjuer skapade de teman uppsatsens resultat och analys utgår från.
