Abstrakt Under vårt kandidatarbete arbetade vi under 20 veckor med att utveckla ett webbaserat spel riktat mot Facebook. Vi använde Agile/Scrum som projektmetod för vårt arbete och förändrade metoden och utvecklade verkyg för att effektivisera den för vårt syfte. Vi kom fram till att det är svårt att göra ett socialt spel och att det viktigaste i produktionen är att se till att det finns en tydlig koppling mellan spelarnas interaktion med varandra och den grundläggande spelmekaniken. Vi tappade fokus under utvecklingen och lärde oss den hårda vägen vikten av att planera realistiskt och börja ifrån grunden när man utvecklar ett spel. Spelet vi skapade använder sig av slumpässigt genererad terräng, är skrivet i JavaScript och utspelar sig i en viktoriansk miljö. We used Agile/Scrum as our project planning method, changed the method to make it more effective for our purpose and developed tools for the method. We came to the conclusion that it's hard to make a social game and that the most important thing in the production is to make sure that there's a clear connection between the players' interaction with each other and the foundations of the game mechanics. We lost focus during the development and learned the hard way the value of planning realistically and to start from the core when developing a game. The game we created uses a random generated terrain, is written in JavaScript and takes place in a Victorian environment. ProblemThe manufacturing industry is a mature industry where the profit margins are small and the competition is hard. This makes it hard for both manufacturers and resellers to gain market shares and reach reasonable profit margins only by selling products. Therefore Swecon who is reseller for Volvo Construction Equipment tries to find alternative methods and ways to increase their profit. An alternative source of income could be to develop the range of services that are connected to the ground products.PurposeThe purpose of the thesis is to examine how Swecon in southern Sweden can improve their offers of existing services connected to the ground product and investigate the demand of new such services.MethodThis study is based on a qualitative study of five of Swecons local offices and five of Swecons customers. The empirical framework is mostly based on personal interviews but in some cases information was retrieved by using phone interviews.

Teachers in social sciences have a broad subject field to base their education on. This term paper examines, thru interviews, which factors that have an influence on the subjects contents in the A course of Social Sciences at Swedish high schools. Having interviewed four active teachers at three different schools, it shows that control documents like subject- and national curricula have little to say about what kind of subject that should been taught. Teachers seem rather to rely on local collegiate consensus, the textbook, locally prepared control documents, and adjusting to program directions while choosing material. In the final discussion the risk of structuring the subject around the text book is being investigated, along the fact that new locally control documents need to be written even for basic planning structures.

Title: The future is looking bright - Studies of burnout among musicians and music teachers. Since late 1970's, the burn-out-syndrome has been researched in several ways, especially among people working in care-oriented employments. The object with this study is to find out the biggest issues about why musicians and music teachers burn themselves out. This is based on musicians and music teachers own stories when they got burned out. The method I have used is qualitative interviews and in the result chapter I will present summaries of the interviews.

Jag har valt tre teman ur värdegrundsboken och jämför vad olika författare anser om dessa tre teman. Skolan kan inte undvika att fostra och socialisera, skolans socialiserande verksamhet innebär att förmedla kultur.Ett konstaterande är att skolans kultur och värdegemenskap förmedlande uppdrag är motsägelsefullt. Uppgiften som skolan har tilldelats av riksdagen är sammansatt av ett beständighets, kontinuitets och ett förändringsuppdrag. Det är tänkt att skolan ska spegla sitt samhälles historia och kultur genom att socialisera sina elever till svenska medborgare, samtidigt ska skolan vara visionär och därmed bana väg för ett framtida samhälle som på bestämda sätt skiljer sig från dagens. Det ställs krav på att personalen ska förmedla kulturellt bestämda värden och upprätta kultur som överensstämmer med dessa värden.

Studien syftar till att försöka finna de uppfattningar som låg- och mellanstadielärare uppvisar i samband med läxan som fenomen. Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Intervjuerna har analyserats utifrån Hellstens (1997) sju konnotationer av begreppet läxan. Dessa är förberedelse, tidstruktur, kontroll och styrning, kärlek och omsorg, identitet och status, gemenskap och kontakt samt arbetsprestation. Vi fann att lärarnas syn på fenomenet läxan stämde väl överens med dessa sju redovisade funktioner.

Bakgrunden till vår studie grundar sig i att utifrån ett medarbetareperspektiv undersöka hur individen upplever konflikten mellan makt och ansvar sett utifrån empowerment. Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ studie som grundar sig på kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer gjorda med anställda på olika företag.I en empowermentprocess så krävs det att det finns en fungerande kommunikation mellan chef och medarbetare. Förtroende och tillit har också visat sig vara av stor betydelse för att skapa en upplevelse av makt som i sin tur går att koppla an till individens subjektiva handlingsutrymme. Medarbetarens syn på ledarskapet handlar till stor del om chefens roll att skapa förutsättningar för en accepterande organisationskultur, detta för att en empowermentsatsning ska upplevas som positiv av båda parter. Det är även viktigt för chefen att vara engagerad i medarbetarnas arbetsuppgifter utan att bli för kontrollerande..

The main purpose with this study is to describe teachers? use of textbooks and other teaching materials in upper secondary school (gymnasiet) in Sweden, and to discuss the use according to school subject and teacher style. Data was collected in two different ways. At first twenty classroom observations were made during lectures concerning the subjects Swedish (mothertounge), English (foreign language) and religion. Then four open interviews were carried out with the teaching teachers.

I en allt mer globaliserad värld är det nödvändigt att människor kan och har förmågan att jobba i andra länder och med medarbetare som har en annan kulturell bakgrund.Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka vilka egenskaper som krävts för ett interkulturellt ledarskap hos ledare som jobbat utomlands och vad de lärt sig av sina erfarenheter under den här tiden.Studien har haft en kvalitativ ansats där insamlingen av empirin har skett på ett av Sveriges största företag som nämns som "Koncernen" genom semistrukturerade intervjuer.Resultatet har visat att kommunikation spelar en mycket stor roll i detta avseende. Detta innefattar både verbal och icke-verbal kommunikation. Viktiga egenskaper hos interkulturella ledare är bl.a. förmågan att vara öppen och social. Samtliga intervjupersoner ansåg att vistelsen utomlands hade gjort att deras yrkesroll stärkts både i yrkeslivet och i det privata..

Inertia beskrivs i litteraturen som ett organisatoriskt förändringsmotstånd och förklaras ofta vara orsaken till att organisationsförändringar misslyckas. Uppsatsen syftar till att genom litteraturstudie öka förståelsen för vad inertia är för något, vad organisationsförändring innebär samt hur dessa två faktorer påverkar lärandet i organisationen.Resultatet av denna litteraturstudie är att inertia konstateras vara en del av det som utgör organisationskulturen samt att inertia som begrepp i sig är olämpligt eftersom detta är i grunden naturvetenskapligt. Avslutningsvis konstateras att det som betecknas som inertia skulle kunna vara såväl ett hinder som en möjlighet för lärande i organisationen. Detta beroende på vilket synsätt man har på organisationer och organisationsförändringar. Sandberg & Targama (1998) konstateras förespråka ett synsätt som skulle kunna vara till stor nytta för organisationer inför förändringar då lärande bör ske.

In this study, we have explored a new area called ?gamification? ? a word and concept that was first introduced on the Internet autumn 2010. Gamification concerns integrating game design, with emphasis on game mechanics and game dynamics, into non-gaming contexts ? such as marketing. At its basic definition, it concerns the process of transforming all kinds of activities into games.

Title: Alexander Technique - Different thoughts on the Alexander Technique and its effect on the singing voice. Does singing lessons cause tension in the student? What should you as a teacher consider to avoid situations that cause tension? This examination is based on interviews. The persons who have been interviewed are singing students, singing teachers and teachers in the Alexander Technique. The literature and the interviews describe the Alexander Technique as a method that, with support of a teacher of the Alexander Technique, helps you to recreate the balance between the cranium, neck and spine.

This report describes the construction work of a radar antenna for the radar systemCARABAS. CARABAS is a long wave airborne ground radar that has been developed bySAAB Microwave Systems and will now be mounted on a small helicopter, Schweizer 300.The antenna should be able to fold up and down. When the radar is in use the antenna islowered and under transport, start and landing the antenna is folded up. An emergency dropfunction should also be included in the design of CARABAS III.The extent of this report includes construction of the antenna, frame structure attached to thehelicopter, mechanism for folding the antenna up and down and mechanism for emergencydrop function. The mechanical design of the antenna and frame structure is based on modaland stress analysis, vibration measurement of Schweizer 300 and frequency analysis, andcalculations regarding aerodynamic drag and mechanics.The exciting frequencies of the helicopter and accelerations at those frequencies weredetermined by vibration measurement and frequency analysis.
