This paper aims to investigate how human beings uses food to found an identity, with regards to how social class affects their choice of food and if trends play a part when it comes to cooking and purchasing food. The paper applies theorist Pierre Bourdieu's concepts such as habitus, capital and field.The main part of the material is composed of four interviews with seven informants; all of which is middle class. The paper also looks at how lifestyle, taste and attitudes to consumption are used when the informants build identity. The empirical part is split into three main subjects, where I first seek to find each informants food habits. What do they eat, and what do they not eat?It showed that a large part was due to their varied lifestyles, however generally speaking the day to day meals should be quick while meals during the weekends could take longer and also cost more.

Arbetet handlar om att skapa en mönsterkollektion för Eco-Boråstapeter. Kollektionen består av fem mönster som behandlar struktur, volym, rörelse och rytm. Tapeterna trycks med djuptrycksmetod på slätt bestruket non woven-papper. Målgruppen är unga designintresserade människor. En designprocess utifrån en inspirationsfas redovisas som består av experimentella filmer (Grey Gardens, Gummo och The Brown Bunny) och av fotografier tagna under promenader i Växjö.

SammanfattningBakgrund Sedan 2011 är det lag i Sverige på att det ska serveras näringsriktig skollunch i grundskolan. Rektorn bör se till att det finns förutsättningar för eleverna, till exempel tidpunkten för måltiden och trivseln i skolrestaurangen, så att de går och äter lunch. Faktorer som logistiken och ljudnivån i skolrestaurangen påverkar elevernas matlust. Denna studie kommer att utgå ifrån the Five Aspects Meal Model (FAMM), en pedagogisk modell som ser till måltidens helhet.Syfte Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur högstadieelever upplever restaurangmiljön på sin skola i en kommun i norra Sverige.Metod En pappers- och webbaserad enkätundersökning genomfördes på tre skolor i en kommun i norra Sverige. Enkäten bestod av 14 frågor och bearbetades och analyserades i IBM SPSSStatistics 20.ResultatAntal elever som deltog i studien var 254 stycken varav 137 killar och 117 tjejer.

In this report presents a thesis by Frida Altskog performed in collaboration with Askersunds Kakelmakeri. The project?s goal has been to produce a ceramic ledge after the company?s specifications. The company?s desire and production facilities have been in focus.

The aim with this study is to analyze how Swedish social services interpret men's and women's needs and whether it is possible to discern any pattern in the social services investigations. The following questions are of importance: how men and women are described in the assistance investigations and if there are any differences between men and women in assistance investigations. The analysis is based on a qualitative text analysis of twenty assistance investigations. The investigations have been studied gradually and interesting patterns emerged which were analyzed by the theory of gender.The results are multifaceted and demonstrate on the one hand that men and women receive the help they apply for and the assessment of their needs is conducted in an equitable way. On the other hand, the study demonstrates that there is a difference in how men and women are described in the investigations..

Hommage till slit och släp is a tribute and a resarchabout patterns relation to clothes. The primary goalof the project was to examine how a pattern couldchange the apperance of a garment and how thegarment?s construction and material would impactthe pattern. In this essay different aspects of the motif of the criminal have been traced in Lotta Lotass?s Min röst ska nu komma från en annan plats i rummet and Vladimir Nabokov?s Lolita. By seeking its representation in the texts, the intention was to show how themes, stylistic patterns and narrative functions interrelate in the construction of the motif. The perpetrator?s position within the narrative structure and its consequences have also been assessed.By discussing the meta-fictive aspects of the novels I stressed the importance of the reader?s function, arguing the reader?s participation in the construction of the motif..

Working with a three-dimensional shape that adjusts light seemed exciting. Venetian blinds became a basis and source of inspiration in my project. What is a Venetian blind? I arrived at the de?nition ?a surface of angleble pieces for sun adjustment?. From that simpli?ed meaning I started making sketches of what an alternative model could look like.

Beteendeproblem i samband med måltid kan drabba alla barn men är vanligt förekommandehos barn med autism och kan resultera i selektivt ätande samt oro och konflikter i familjen.Syfte:Att undersöka föräldrars åsikter om matskolaför föräldrar och anhöriga tillbarn medbeteendeproblem i samband med måltid upp till fyra år efter avslutad föräldrautbildning.Metod: En enkät utformad av författarna skickades tillsamtliga personer (n=27) som deltagit i utbildningen Matskolan mellan åren 2007- 2010. Femton svar erhölls (56 %). Svaren bearbetades med hjälp av deskriptiv statistik och redovisades i andelar, procent och i vissa fall stapeldiagramResultat:Majoriteten av föräldrarna upplevde att de haft nytta av undervisningen på matskolan och att måltidssituationen blivit bättre efter matskolan. Drygt hälften av föräldrarna ansåg att den förändrade måltidssituation berodde på matskolan. Majoriteten upplevde förbättrad förmåga att hantera barnets problembeteende efter avslutad utbildning.

SAMMANFATTNINGSyfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka uppfattningar äldre vårdtagare på vårdboende hade om kvalitet i samband med måltider med avseende på aspekterna produkten, rummet och mötet.Metod: Studien är av deskriptiv design och bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer. Urvalet var målmedvetet och undersökningsgruppen bestod av nio äldre vårdtagare på vårdboenden. Intervjuerna analyserades med en kvalitativ analysmetod.Resultat: I resultatet framkom att det var viktigt att maten smakade som förväntat, tillagades på rätt sätt av kompetent kökspersonal samt var nylagad med ett aptitligt utseende. Viktigt var att få välja exempelvis portionsstorlek och dryck. Måltidsmiljön skulle vara trivsam, ren och stressfri.

It is hard to find streaming waters where humans haven?t affected the fish populations or the running water it self. In many streams the fish populations are over harvested and this results in a lack of older and larger fish. This is also the situation for many populations of Grayling (Thymallus spp.). To be able to develop management plans and to perform actions that improve the situation for the grayling, it is therefore crucial to know what natural, by humans unaffected populations look like.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka huruvida det finns skillnader i förskolepersonalens lunchmåltid beroende på om de äter pedagogisk lunch, det vill säga samma mat som barnen, eller medhavd matlåda. Studiedesignen är av beskrivande och jämförande karaktär, och undersökningen skedde i en medelstor svensk stad där tre förskolors kvinnliga personal deltog. Tolv individuella halvstrukturerade telefonintervjuer genomfördes. Sex pedagoger åt samma mat som barnen och övriga medförd matlåda. Resultatet visade att respondenterna som åt medhavd matlåda hade ett högre totalt energiintag i form av protein, fett, men även en högre konsumtion av c-vitamin och järn.

Background: Enterprises often refer to their employees as ?Our most valuable assets? in annual reports and other written statements. In reality, employees are seen as an expense rather than an asset in annual reports and the voluntary disclosure is often insufficient. Human capital disclosure has been discussed through decades and the latest topic in voluntary disclosure is called integrated reporting. Knowledge firms should disclose more about their employees than industrial companies due to the fact that the employees are a considerably more important asset to these types of enterprises.Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to study the disclosure of human capital, compare the disclosures between knowledge firms and industrial companies, and study the development of the human capital disclosures between the years 2003-2013.

I have been inspired by the Do It Yourself movement. DIY builds on the creativity of the individual, one?s capacity for initiative and one?s desire to realise one?s ideas. I have been inspired by sheets of pattern paper used in the manufacture of clothing, and my line of furniture is based on two-dimensional patterns of furniture. The sections of the pieces of furniture are printed on and relate to a standard sheet of plywood.
