This report has a purpose to identify the payment methods available for e-commerce, tosee if they fulfill certain requirements. By investigating thirty of the most popular webshops, a few primary services have been found and revised. Security requirements fore-payment systems include authentication, non-repudiation, integrity and confidentiality.Other requirements considered to be important are usability, flexibility, affordability,reliability, availability, speed of transaction and interoperability. Advantages and disadvantageshave been identified to see if the services fulfill the requirements. Also surveysof consumer payment habits have been investigated to identify the factors of decisive importanceto the usage of payment services.

In today's society, the availability of energy plays an integral part in our everyday lives. Unfortunately, the price of energy in Sweden has increased in recent decades. A large part of our energy consumption goes to heating modules for houses, where heating methods that depend on energy sources such as electricity, district heating, fuel oil, gas and biofuels are the most common ones. During the winter period, the increase in energy costs becomes significantly evident, especially for small property owners. This increase in energy cost is most noticeable for home owners with electric heating.This thesis is written at the Halmstad University, in cooperation with a company, which makes parts of this thesis confidential.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien var att undersöka hur stretching i olika former akut påverkar hopphöjd.Vilken akut påverkan har statisk stretching på hopphöjd?Vilken akut påverkan har dynamisk stretching på hopphöjd?Vilka skillnader i hopprestation finns när det gäller den akuta effekten efter statisk och dynamisk stretching?MetodStudien var kvantitativ med en experimentell forskningsdesign och bestod av tre testtillfällen. Bekvämlighetsurval tillämpades och begränsades till 12 friska fysiskt aktiva kvinnor i åldrarna 18-30 år. Varje testtillfälle innehöll en uppvärmning på ergometercykel, tre vertikalhopp, en stretchingintervention (statisk, dynamisk eller kontroll), en aktiv vila på ergometercykel och ytterligare tre vertikalhopp. Vertikalhoppen (squat jump) utfördes på en kontaktmatta som beräknade den totala hopphöjden.

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate different types of measures for making buildings more energy efficient and to estimate their profitability. The calculations were performed with the building simulation program VIP+ and the evaluation of the profitability with the life cycle cost method. Furthermore, it was examined how losses in the distribution of secondary systems of district heating can be avoided. Options to replace district heating with a local district heating system based on bio-energy have been investigated. The possibilities of achieving more efficient thermal energy consumption and production for the chosen estate were also examined.The object of the study has been a residential estate with 133 detached houses in Uppsala, built in 1974.

Background: The district nurses profession has traditionally been health promotion. In order to find patients with excessive alcohol intake, district nurses use AUDIT. Research shows that health professionals find it difficult to face alcohol abusers in primary care. AIM: The aim is to describe how district nurses work with AUDIT. Method: Semi-structured interviews with six informants were carried out.

Mine waste from Ljusnarsbergsfältet in Kopparberg, Sweden, is considered to constitute a great risk for human health and the surrounding environment. Some of the waste rock consists of sulphide minerals. When sulphide minerals come into contact with dissolved oxygen and precipitation, oxidation may occur resulting in acid mine drainage (AMD) and the release of heavy metals. The purpose of this study has been to characterise the waste material and try to chemically stabilize the waste rock with a mixture of sewage sludge and calcium carbonate. The drawback of using organic matter is the risk that dissolved organic matter can act as a complexing agent for heavy metals and in this way increase their mobility.

Hållbarhetscertifieringssystem är något som kommit att användas i allt större utsträckning sedan införandet i Sverige under 2000-talet. Idag ökar antalet hållbarhetscertifieringar kraftigt för projekt i fastighetsbranschen medan anläggningsbranschen enbart certifierat ett fåtal. Orsakerna till den intressanta utvecklingen har studerats genom att ta reda på hur anläggningsbranschens beställare i offentlig sektor ska kunna ställa krav på användning av hållbarhetscertifieringssystem utan att strida mot lagen om offentlig upphandling (LOU).Studien har bedrivits i form av litteratur- och intervjustudie. Intervjuer har genomförts med olika aktörer i branschen med syfte att erhålla en branschenig åsikt kring hur man bör ställa krav på användning av hållbarhetscertifieringssystem i offentliga upphandlingar. Studien har även behandlat hur aktörerna följer upp och utvärderarar arbetet.

AbstractThe indoor environment affects the human performance. Noise pollution, poor lightning and coloring are some of the factors that affect our work performance. The human is also affected by the air change and temperature, these factors are in most buildings possible to adjust and through this make economic savings. To find out about the indoor environment in the O-building a questionnaire was handed out, measurements/surveys and an interview was also made. 108 questionnaires where handed out to employees and students.

Syftet med projektet är att ta fram en metod för optimering av cellodlingsmedia som kan minska den tid och de resurser som dagens metoder kräver. Fem stamlösningar med adekvata komponenter designas och kombineras med olika flödeshastigheter till ett medium. Kombinationerna testas med experimentell design och analyseras med multivariat dataanalys för att få fram optimerade cellmedia.Odlingsmetoden som de fem stamlösningarna anpassas till är fed-batch, ett system där en av lösningarna är en baslösning och de resterande fyra designas till feedlösningar. De senare tillsätts i olika hastigheter till baslösningen anpassat efter cellernas näringsbehov. Strategin som har lagts upp för att designa stamlösningarna bygger på förhållandet mellan komponenternas förbrukningshastighet i de olika tillväxtfaserna.

Pulp- and papermills expend vast amounts of water in order to produce pulp, paper and cardboard. Hence, they alsocreate vast amounts of waste water which has to be cleaned before it can be released into the receiving body of water. Insuch a wastewater treatment plant, tremendous amounts of energy are expended by the aeration in the biologicalcleaning process. This aeration is necessary to supply the microorganisms that shall decompose organic material withoxygen, which they need for their metabolism. The transfer of oxygen from the gas phase to the liquid phase isprimarily inhibited by surface-active substances in the waste water like resin acids or fatty acids.

Detta examensarbete behandlar STT/F-bjälklagselementens krympning och krypning. Arbetet har utförts på uppdrag av Strängbetong AB, med Örjan Pettersson som initiativtagare och handledare.STT/F-bjälklagselement är en prefabricerad förspänd betongprodukt bestående av två spända balkar med en ovanpåliggande armerad platta. De används som bjälklag i yttertakskonstruktioner och har, tack vare tunna balkliv och en sadelformad platta, låg vikt och kan uppnå spännvidder närmare 30 meter.Förspända element förändras efter gjutning på grund av krympning, krypning samt stålets relaxation. Förutsättningarna varierar med bland annat olika betongkvalitet, förspänningsnivå, temperatur och luftfuktighet. Vid dimensionering tas hänsyn till dessa parametrar för att säkerställa maximal spännvidd och upplagslängd.

Focus of this study was on the underlying values behind consumers buying motives at the point of purchase of meat products in Sweden. Meat consumption in Sweden has increased and in 2012, almost 50% of all meat consumed was imported (SJV, 2013). This is the case despite of the fact that consumers frequently state the importance of Swedish country of origin on the meat products they purchase (www, LRF, 2, 2006). A rising public awareness about health, environmental issues, animal welfare and food safety coupled to meat consumption and meat production is scrutinized both from media and consumers. Due to rising concerns of production-methods of meat, consumers wants to make informed purchasing decisions of the meat they purchase (BEUC, 2013).

Sweden is dependent on secure sea transport. Shorter disruption of imports of fuel and crude oil can be managed with an emergency stock, but a prolonged halt in imports creates problems. For industry, the vulnerability is greater. Fragmented production chains in combination with expenditure reductions in inventory causes a dependency on proper transport of intermediate goods in the manufacturing industry. A lengthy disruption thus involves disruption of production for both domestic consumption and for export goods containing imported parts.In order to secure shipping routes with a limited number of vessels, Mine Counter Measures (MCM) capacity is required, and according to the Armed Forces, developed with new sensors and autonomous vehicles.

Decomposition of organic matter is a critical process in the ecosystem, which involves many essential biotic and physical parts. Decomposition is therefore an important process both above and below ground. The rate of decomposition is dependent of many environmental factors for example: pH, moisture and supply of oxygen. The decomposition can therefore be affected by large scaled environmental influences, such as acidification and climatic changes. The root litter in the forest is in different ways affected by acidification, liming and manuering.

Offentligt rum och vardagens politik handlar om hur 1990- talets sociala förändring, med en rörelse från ett samhälle integrerat av arbetsetiken mot ett samhälle organiserat utifrån konsumtionsestetiken, förändrar demokratins villkor i och för det offentliga rummet. Det mer preciserade syftet är att undersöka vilka konsekvenser den sociala förändringen får för utövandet av vardagens politik i det offentliga rummet. Den övergripande frågeställningen är vad ett fritt ord innebär, vad är det fritt från och för vem är det fritt? Centrala begrepp i studien är: Medborgaren, dvs. individens kollektiva identitet som politisk varelse.
