Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka vilka faktorer i undervisningen och den sociala skolmiljönsom ger elever motivation och lust att lära matematik. Arbetet beskriver motivation och lust tillmatematikämnet ur ett lärar- och ett elevperspektiv.Undersökningen utförs genom intervjuer med fyra pedagoger som undervisar i matematikämneti skolår 1-6. Utöver detta så sker intervjuer med två elever ur varje pedagogs klass. Sammanlagtåtta elever ingår i undersökningen.Resultatet visar att elevens förståelse och tillit till den egna förmågan är centrala motivationsfaktorerför att lära matematik. Enligt samtliga deltagare i undersökningen är ett varierat arbetssätten viktig faktor för att skapa motivation.

"A picture is worth a thousand words!?The purpose of this study is to show how familytherapy as a ground can deepen and demonstrate the value of using paintings to encourage the dialogue in coupletherapy. I have accomplished therapy with three different couples, which I report. All couples have painted four paintings each (encl.1-3) and have talked about their pictures. Through qualitative deapinterviews, every person has got the opportunity to tell their experience of painting together with their partner.

The artist Pehr Hilleström has been credited as the founder of the Swedish genre painting. In the second half of the 18th century he began painting everyday subjects of the different social stratums. Today his paintings are noted for their way of showing us the culture of the time since the photograph still had still not been introduced.   Hilleström was a court painter for King Gustav III who wanted him to depict the Swedish people and their different costumes. The king thought the costumes were of great significance for their psychological impact on people and therefore used them as a way to unite the nation psychologically, both by the genre paintings and also by making a national costume. The costumes were used as a symbol of an unbroken tradition and national heritage.

BakgrundVi har förstått att elever i dagens skola inte ges möjlighet till att uppnå de mål som Skolverket satt upp genom kursplan (2000) och Centralt innehåll (2010) i matematik. Tidigare granskning av läromedel visar att det inte skett någon förändring av läroboken på 20 år och att den fortfarande har en styrande roll i klassrummet (Brändström, 2002). Detta leder till att eleverna får en ytlig kunskap inom matematik (Granberg, 1999). Det är av stort intresse att behandla frågor som berör metodiskt upplägg samt arbetssätt av läroböcker, detta kan ha betydelse för undervisningen i matematik (Anderberg, 1987).SyfteVi undersöka hur matematikboken Matte direkt. Borgens (2003-2005) innehåll ger eleverna möjlighet att uppnå det centrala innehåll som är uppsatt för grundskolan, årskurs fyra till sex (Skolverket, 2010).MetodVi har använt oss av kvantitativ innehållsanalys.ResultatVi kom i undersökningen fram till att Matte direkt.

The aim of this paper is to take a critical look at retouching of medieval mural paintings inSweden. This is done by firstly examining the different methods of retouching, including thematerials used. Secondary it tries to answer the question of which intentions have guided theconservator?s decisions dealing with the retouching. The medieval mural paintings in Swedishchurches have three major functions today.

This study is about the artist Monica Sjoo?s (1938-2005) painting God giving birth (1968) that was accused of being blasphemous and obscene in the early 1970s. God giving birth could have had much in common with Niki de Saint-Phalle?s She ? a cathedral (1966), both works suggesting a mother goddess image. The main difference however can be found in the fact that Monica Sjoo?s painting had connection to the women?s movement in the 1970s.

The purpose of this study was to analyze recent appropriations of works of art in advertising. Why was art infused into magazine advertisements, how were the works of art tampered with to achieve commercial goals, how well did they function together with the ad copy? What did these advertisements want? What did the artwork contribute to the commercial message? These were some of the questions asked in the study that involved a closer look at four appropriations: one based on a battle painting by the Swedish 1900th century artist Carl Wahlbom, with a commercial message printed on top;  one a collage including an 18th century portrait of Marie Antoinettte by Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun; one advertisement was influenced by Dutch 1700th century still lifes, and, finally, one paraphrased Velázquez?s famous painting Las Meninas from 1655. Companies behind the advertisements featured a Swedish trade journal, a fashion exhibition in Paris, a shop for kitchen utensils in Stockholm, and an up-scale department store in Madrid.The ads, in different ways based on works of art, were evaluated as reasonably successful commercial messages. These ads, however, hardly qualified as works of art in their own right ? if that was the intention.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka elevers reation till matematiken som ämne i en lärarstyrd klass i årskurs åtta samt en elevstyrd klass i årskurs åtta och undersöka de skillnader som finns mellan de båda klasserna utifrån intresse och kunskap.Med hjälp av texter från andra forskare beskrivs hur undervisning ser ut i skolan, hur undervisningen i matematik ser ut, samt hur en lärarstyrd kontra en elevstyrd undervisning ser ut.Empirin består av enkäter i form av pappershäfte som två klasser i en årskurs åtta i en elevstyrd skola fick fylla i, samt i form av en elektronisk enkät som en klass i årskurs åtta i en lärarstyrd skola fick fylla i. Därefter har en jämförelse mellan dessa båda klasser gjorts och resultaten visar att det genomgående positiva draget i den elevstyrda klassen var att de ansåg matte vara roligt, ansåg att de hade lätt för matte samt att deras betyg var högre jämfört med den lärarstyrda klassen. Däremot verkar den lärarstyrda klassen vilja ha en större frihet i sitt kunskapshämtande medan den elevstyrda klassen verkar vilja ha lite mer lärarstyrt för att bättre tillägna sig kunskap..

Steel is an excellent material to build with, but consideration must be given to the fact that unprotected steel corrodes, rusts, therefore, as a rule, the steel must be protected in some way. This can be done by reducing the tendency of the steel to corrode by using stainless steel or by treating the steel with a protection method. The two most common methods of protection are corrosion protection paint and zinc coating. To determine the method, the corrosive category must first be evaluated and this is done in accordance to EN ISO 12944-2:1998.Stainless steel is available in many varieties but only some of them have properties that make them suitable for use as construction steels. There are many factors to be considered in the design of stainless steel to prevent corrosion from occurring.

On each one of these mediums you?ll get to know about their history, what technique they have, what sort of material you need, practise and tip.

The study focuses the evil within human beings and evil actions against other humans and the human kind. The evil is defined as evil actions such as murder and actions in war. The questions asked is whether the evil has a face and if it is possible in that case to paint that kind of face. The medieval mural paintings in old churches include Cain murdering his brother Abel based on the Bible. The study also includes reliefs, sculptures in stone describing Cains´s murder of Abel and sculptures with the Massacre of the Innocents in Bethlehem according to the Bible.

Undersökningar har visat att många elever har bristfälliga kunskaper i bråkräkning när de lämnar grundskolan. Eleverna har särskilt stora problem med att kunna utföra korrekta multiplikationer och divisioner med bråk inblandat. Med bakgrund av detta har jag intresserat mig för hur läroböckerna hanterar dessa frågor. Jag har därför genomfört en läromedelsanalys av två olika läroboksserier som är aktuella i undervisningen på två högstadieskolor i Karlstad.Dessa två läroboksserier är Matte Direkt år 7-9 och Matematikboken XYZ. Jag har beskrivit och analyserat de relevanta avsnitten ur instrumentella och relationella aspekter, samt även gjort en jämförelse med Margareta Löwings förslag på metod att arbeta med bråk.
